I signed the contract on August 31st and they were supposed to come out and do initial measurements 2-3 weeks later. They finally came out the second or third week in September, to do the measurements, after repeated calls to them. After they came out in September, they never followed up with me. I have continually called them and they keep giving me the run around about coming back out and as of today, November 15th, no work has been started. I am going to call them today to tell them I want out of the contract and that I'm going to hire a different company.

Joe was on time & did what he had to do. Had minor problem with plumbing but Joe was on top of it. Had if fixed to our liking and then he completed the rest of the installation of the shower.

We met the salesman on May 19, 2016. Details were explained to us: costs, type of materials, and the length of the job. He inspected the bathroom, made some measurements, and assured us that the work will be done in TWO DAYS ONLY. When we asked him if that's all possible, he gave us the assurance that it would be done in TWO DAYS. TWO DAYS! "And that what sets Tiger Bath apart form others!"so he said. Before he left, he told us that we would get a call from their office and that the installation would be in 2-3 weeks. We waited for almost a month for the schedule of their work. When my husband called their office after almost a month of waiting, he was told that "their office made multiple calls." My husband told the person on the line that "we did not get any calls from their office." The person said that they have the record of the calls. Granted that they called, isn't it that they should have left messages? This procedure of not leaving messages after allegedly placing "multiple calls" is just incomprehensible. I gave them a D for that. When the schedule was finally set up, we were told that the work would be from 9am-5pm. I have to call their office when no one was showing up at 10am! The worker arrived around 10.20 on the first day, July 11, telling us that he was caught in traffic. Then the plumbers came around 11am. At around 2.30pm, the inspector from Skokie Village came. The day of work was over at around 2pm. We were told by the worker of tiger Bath who left around 1/1.30pm that he would be back the following day. The following day, which was supposed to be the last day of work, the worker came with another worker and they worked really hard the whole day. At around 3pm, we were already wondering/doubting if they would be able to finish everything at 5pm, which was the cut off time of any inside work in our condo building. When it was already 5.25pm, we told the workers that their work have to stop. That's when one of the workers called their office and talked to his scheduler/boss. We could hear their conversation and the worker told us that they would be back on Friday, July 15. That's when my husband lost his patience especially when he heard from the worker, who was talking to his boss-scheduler, that "my husband should call the scheduler!" That scheduler should have instructed his worker to give his phone to us and talk to us rather than asking us to call him! What a rude way to run a business. He knew already that they were not able to fulfill their promised time-frame to finish the job, The professional thing to do, from our perspective as people who are also running our own business, was for him to apologize and ask for understanding from us because they were not able to fulfill their promise. When he talked to my husband on the phone, he was trying to justify why the job was not finished and putting the blame on the association's regulation and on the excessive heat and all! He even raised his voice, arguing with my husband, telling him that "he could not do anything because he has to send his worker to another job the following day." We were asking for the workers to come back the following day to finish the job because we did not have to take another day off! He even told my husband that "he could go to Angie's List if he wanted but he could not do anything about it!" My husband blew his top and told him point blank that what they were doing was false advertising. He stood his ground by saying that their company "is not making any promises that they can finish the job in two days!" And that's precisely the point of deceptive marketing practice. Remember what I have written above? The first time we sat down with their marketing/sales agent, we were assured that the job would be done in TWO DAYS because "that's what sets them apart from others!" So my husband asked him the question: "Who's lying here, YOU or your sales agent?" He answered by saying that "they could not make that kind of promise!" ERGO: their sales agent lied to us! That's deceptive practice. Their agents must be told that they could not assure the clients that the job can be done in TWO DAYS! Remember this, their agent inspected the work to be done. Yes, he told us that if ever there would be major problems that are discovered, then it might take more than 2 days. But the situation in our unit did not have MAJOR PROBLEMS. For the very poor customer service and very unprofessional attitude of the scheduler, I gave them an overall score of C. We would like to suggest that this company spends time to sit down with their agents in the field and INSTRUCT them to tell their clients that they NORMALLY finish the job within TWO DAYS, especially if there is only one worker involved on the first day and the work stops at around 2pm. We also would like to suggest that their workers arrive on time. If they are coming all the way from Bolingbrook, isn't it that they should leave their office early so that they can arrive at 8 or 9am? And we would like to strongly recommend that their workers practice basic courtesy and professionalism in handling their clients. That scheduler needs to learn the basics of customer-centered communication skills. Your business will continuously lose clients if you will have more people bereft of basic respect. We want your business to grow and so we are giving these concrete suggestions. Despite the late arrival of their workers, we would like to commend them for their hard work, though. My advice to potential clients? See to it that you don't fall into the TWO-DAY sales' talk.

So far I don't have a good feeling about this company. I will update my review after the salesman leaves. I've heard they use high pressure sales tactics, which turns me off at the start.
Description of Work: I have an appointment for the salesman to come out tomorrow. In order to make the appointment they needed all the owners of my property to be there. I told them I was the only one. Guess because they need to know how much pressure to put on me. I told them I just wanted a ball park figure in order to determine if I could afford the job. I also told them I didn't want to waste their time if I couldn't afford it. That's why I rated them in the middle.

The initial sales pitch was too long and a little too high pressure. Our neighbor had similar work done by this company and we liked the way it turned out so we could have done without the sales pitch. We initially ordered glass shower doors but decided to go with a shower curtain instead. It took several days and calls to Tiger Bath before they gave us a corrected contract. Two installers arrived on the scheduled day and worked all day on removing the old tub/surround, installing green board, redoing the pluming to fit the new shower. Around 6PM they thought they would probably have to come back the next day to complete everything. I said whatever they wanted to do was fine with me. They could come back or stay and work late if they preferred. They stayed and finished all work and cleanup by 7:30PM. My wife and I are very pleased with the final product

Salesman arrived on time... stayed 2.5 hours. As I declined to hire his service, he kept finding "additional savings" and "discounts" decreasing the cost by almost 50% provided I sign on the dotted line before he left. He even offered to tear up the contract in the morning if I changed my mind.... yeah, right... received a call today, that his supervisor thought his quote was alittle high, could he come by for about 15 minutes to offer me an adjusted quote.... I said no... Their product seems to be top of the line, but their sales tactics... Salesman shared that they are a sibling company of WindowWorks and HomeWorks... I will not be contacting either of them in the near future, either.
