Excellent customer service. Worked with me on design and managed my expectations very well. John noticed the finish on my stove and included matching "knobs" for the glass "blacksplash" going behind the stove. Little touches like that go a long way.

Bolingbrook Glass was able to remediate the errors made by a different contractor. This was no small task as the errors were enormous. Bolingbrook Glass solved my problems in an ingenious way and for a very reasonable price. The work is excellent and the quality of the product is undeniable. The gentlemen who came to take measurements and then do the install were very skilled and very nice. I recommend Bolingbrook Glass to everyone.

They were incredibly helpful on the phone. They helped answer my questions, and gave me a quote immediately over the phone. I placed the order by phone and the pieces were done within a few days. I picked them up and they loaded them into my car with packaging to help ensure the 5 pieces of glass made the ride home safely. Everyone who helped me was very friendly. And the glass was cut exactly to the right dimensions.

Great Job

Work was performed neatly and on time. However, after the window pane cracked again about a year after Bolingbrook Glass installed the replacement insert, I hired a different window repair firm who discovered that Bolingbrook Glass did not install the insert correctly [with the necessary rubber shims to allow for expansion]. Now that it is installed correctly, the window has remain uncracked for about three years.

A DOOR AND WINDOW COMPANY FROM WHICH WE BOUGHT A PATIO DOOR RECOMMENDED THEM. THE REP CALLED TO RESCHEDULE THE ORIGINAL APPT. TIME AND WAS PROMPT FOR THE RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. THE REP SAID HE'D CALL WITH THE PRICE AND HE CALLED THAT AFTERNOON. THEY BID $331.08 FOR THE WORK ON A 27X53 5/8 REPLACEMENT GLASS (LOW E) ON A MARVIN WINDOW. THAT WAS $126 FOR THE GLASS, $195 FOR THE LABOR AND $10.08 FOR TAX. WE MADE NO OTHER BIDS. THEY SAID THEY'D SET A TIME TO INSTALL THE GLASS AFTER IT WAS IN. THEY CALLED ON A FRIDAY MORNING TO ARRANGE TO COME THAT SATURDAY MORNING. WE MISSED THE MESSAGE AND THEY SHOWED UP AT 9:45 A.M. ANYWAY AS WE WERE PREPARING TO WALK OUT THE DOOR FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT (NOBODY CONFIRMED THE APPOINTMENT ALTHOUGH WE DIDN'T CALL THEM TO RESPOND TO THEIR CALL). ONE OF US STAYED BEHIND SO THE INSTALLER COULD DO THE WORK. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND NEAT AND SPENT ROUGHLY 45 MINUTES, MAKING SURE THE NEW GLASS SPARKLED. OTHER THAN THE SCHEDULING SURPRISE, WE'RE HAPPY.

REPRESENTATIVE VERY SLOW IN RETURNING CALLS. HE THEN SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS TO COME AND DO ESTIMATE ON 3 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS. FAILED TO SHOW FIRST TWO TIMES. PRICE WAS MODERATE, BUT WE CHOSE A SUPPLIER MORE RESPONSIVE, AND MORE FAMILIAR WITH OUR SUBDIVISION.

ANOTHER COMPANY OFFERED TO COME TO MY HOME IN A FEW DAYS TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE. BOLINGBROOK GLASS & MIRROR OFFERED TO FIX IT FOR ME THAT DAY IF I GOT IT THERE. THEY FIXED THE WINDOW FRAME AND REPLACED THE GLASS IN A FEW HOURS AS PROMISED, AT A VERY REASONABLE COST.
