They are punctual and have decent prices. They are very cordial.

It is a local company and the owner is William Masters and he has several persons working there. We have been satisfied with them. The reason why we like them is because when we call them the very first thing they do is, they ask you to describe the problem and if they think you can fix it without they having to come out they will tell what to do at no charge and that is a very big plus. A lot of people would come out even if they know it is going to be simple. On a couple of occasions that worked. Actually I was, following their advice was able to fix the problem. They are expensive but that is the going rate.

My overall experience with them was excellent. I checked all the references and what other people said about them, and I went to them and I was pleased with them. Their quality was very good, and I was very pleased to use them. I guess what they did for the price was okay. It cost me $395 for getting a new heater, but it included a new service that included going over the furnace and everything and they would come back in the spring and do the furnace and the air conditioner again. Even though I did think the price was kind of high, their service gave me peace of mind because I am the only one here taking care of things. They were very professional. I would highly recommend them to others. They turned up on time, called ahead, and they did a great job. They were very good. I will probably use them again.

They determined after being on site for 2 or 3 minutes that our problem wasn't what we thought. One of our valves went bad and they found that. They fixed the valve on site. They were very customer service friendly. They saved us from further damage from that leak.

Arrived at scheduled time . Power company waiting to turn off electricity. Installed new circuit breaker box. approx. 4 hours. Called power company ahead of completion. Power turned back on. Had to run wire from box to garage ,install outlet . Job completed 3 1/2 hrs. later. Great timing on every step . from estimate ,date set for work and completion. Would recommend Wm. Masters without hesitation.

Their serviceman discovered the cracked heat exchanger in the afternoon and they were there the next morning with the new furnace. This was no fake deal to sell a new furnace. I was standing looking over the serviceman's shoulder when he discovered the crack (which could well have released carbon monoxide into the house). Since it was the middle of winter we needed a prompt replacement. The company had one in stock and had it installed in just a few hours. The workmen were very professional and did a good clean up after the removal and installation. I would certainly recommend this company.

Williams Masters received a grade of A from me pretty much overall except for their responsiveness for the following reasons. Our air conditioner went out on a Sunday; on Monday we contacted Williams Masters because we had done work with them in the past. They came and diagnosed the problem; then we decided we wanted to get a couple of estimates and wanted their salesperson to contact us that day because we had lost our air conditioner and it was hot. They said they would not be available until the next day. We found another Carrier who came in and gave us an estimate so after we contacted them later that day and told them we had gotten a second estimate they decided they could come and see us at 5. I wish they had been more responsive initially, that would have been great. After making a decision to go with Williams Masters who carries the Trane. We did that because the salesperson gave us a great education and was honest. I'd already done my background research so, the same with buying a car, I knew what he was telling me was true. In order to reach the efficiency of the air conditioner we selected we would have to change our furnace or we would have to be satisfied with a less efficient air conditioner. They gave us a great price and we were eligible for all rebates. By the time all was said and done we got over $1,000 off the system we selected. As usual they came in, were on time and got the air conditioner to us within a couple of days. Everything was installed and it works great. I am very satisfied overall so their grade is an A.

They are fine; they are good. They gave me a good estimate. They have had to come out twice to look after leakage in the PVC piping in the basement. They caulked it once and then replaced it. They also had to come out twice to caulk the PVC pipe on the outside of the house because it kept coming loose. They took care of it to my satisfaction. Their price is higher than average.

They did a good job and I haven't had any problems with the dehumidifier. In terms of cleaning, they did a good job vacuuming and cleaning up after themselves.

This company serviced my HVAC. They were very helpful and explained all the different things they were doing to my HVAC. They showed my how to do several things myself. Very professional and everything worked great after they were done.

The woman who took my call was very pleasant and helpful and so was the plumber. She explained to me that their hourly rate with a minimum of one hour. I was very happy to have this problem fixed without tearing into the wall. It was money well spent.

WM Masters are always prompt and do the job well. Would recommend to anyone.

My furnace went out on a very cold winter's day. I thought I could make it through the night without the heat, but by the time the temperature inside dropped to 62 degrees I gave up and called Wm Masters (in the evening.) The service tech came to the house at 9 p.m. He discovered the igniter had gone bad. He had another one one on his truck, and he replaced it for me. Problem solved! He also took time to talk to me about the furnace and the humidifier attached to it. He didn't try to sell me anything--just gave me good information. I have had Wm Masters do my plumbing, heating & air conditioning work ever since my husband passed away, and I've always been happy with the end result. They have a reputation for being expensive, but my personal opinion is that you get what you pay for, and Wm Masters has always been worth the cost in my book. I've been very happy with their service.

The technician was prompt, professional & couteous

Everything was great. We have had him since we've lived here. We have a maintenance contract with him. They are always on the spot to get here, when it's time for that. I called the day before yesterday because I had humidifier problems. They came right out yesterday to fix it.

I had a 27 year old furnace and air conditioner replaced. Deron Penn was my sales agent and he was incredible. He gave me three different estimates; a base model for both, a mid-level model for both, and a high end model for both. He explained the pros and cons of each different model specific to my needs and wasn't simply trying to make the most money possible. I ended up going with a 95% efficient furnace (high end model) and a 14 SEER (mid level model) air conditioner that have far surpassed my expectations. Shortly after installation (which went without a hitch, the installation team was excellent) a quality assurance technician come out to double check the furnace was working correctly and that I wasn't having any issues. The technician told me he would come back in late Spring to check the air conditioner since I obviously didn't want it running in the middle of winter. William Master's even took care of all the necessary paperwork so that I could receive the Nicor and Ameren rebates which netted me almost $1000. The prices at William Masters were in line with (and less than some) of their competitors which I was shocked to discover since I assumed their name would inflate the prices. I will, without hesitation, utilize William Master's in the future for any of my electrical and/or plumbing needs!

My furnace wasn't working when I got home from work last night. I called after hours and got their answering service. I asked that someone return my call. Within 30 minutes I received a call from the person "on call." He came out to the house and inspected the furnace. Turns out it needed a new igniter. The repairman had one on his truck that worked in my furnace, and within 20 minutes it was working again. The bill was $214. (It would have been about $50 less had he come out during regular business hours.) I've had Wm. Masters come to my house multiple times to help me with furnace and/or air conditioning issues. I've never had a problem with them. They are prompt and professional, and they've never left me hanging by not showing up when promised! I will continue to do busines with them.

They were very professional and very experienced. The workers were friendly and nice. They did their job and cleaned up. They knew what they were doing.

I spent about $8000 on the job. They have been servicing my earlier system. I think they are very thorough and they clean up well after themselves. They are very professional. I will use them again in the future.

We have been really happy with Wm Masters. They do things quickly, they are very friendly, and put covers on their work shoes. They make sure to answer all our questions and always come when they say they will. They even called one time to see if they could come early!

We bought a house with a central air system already installed. It works quite well, particularly given the fact that we have an old drafty house with very high ceilings. They're always punctual and professional, and I trust them to do a good job. A bit pricey though, but I guess you have to shell out the bucks for good work.

They did a fine job and I would use their services in the future too.

Contacted Wm Masters and they were able to come out within a couple days (everyone else was at least a week). Showed up on time, did a great job. Explained what had happened and replaced the faucet. He had to cut a hole in one of the walls to get to the pipe, kept it fairly small and suggested putting a grate over it to allow for airflow and easy access.

They gave me a written quote on different options. This company was more a professional approach to things, but what they offered was more than what we were looking for and were very expensive. We are still undecided who we will be able to do the work for us.
