Nord Stump Removal Services

Did a nice thorough job and would hire again.

I did not hire a stump remover at all. Why this is coming up, I don't know.

It took Clink and his crew 1 and 1/2 days because the tree was so large. They cleaned up the branches and twigs as they fell. Clint was actually very hands-on in doing his share if not more. The 3-man crew were so nice and professional. I will definitely use them again (if needed). I will recommend them for sure. They will return to remove the stump, but the tree was our main concern. The Japanese beetles destroyed our tree. They don't want payment until after the stump it out.

Called Nord's and two other people. Nord's was the cheapest by several hundreds of dollars. I spoke with them by phone and they were able to do the work within a couple of days. They showed up when promised, did the work to our satisfaction and were very friendly. Our only problem was getting a receipt for their work. Receipt was needed because the work was covered by storm insurance and had to be submitted. I asked for a receipt at the time of the work and was told it would come soon. It never did arrive despite three or four phone calls over the next three months. Luckily, the insurance company finally accepted the cancelled check. So, they did great work cheaply, but if you are using them for insurance work, get the receipt up front before paying for the job. Despite my problem, I would use them again for non-insurance work.

He was punctual. He is just a great person. I have used him for over 20 years. He is honest and he knows what he is doing.

I would recommend them and they have been very helpful. I would rate them highly except punctuality. The part of the problem is when you have a storm in an area everybody would want them. They are very friendly and I think they are reasonable priced. They did quite a bit of work for me and the bill was $ 300. They cleaned up after the work was done. They had to take down half a tree and clean up the debris from the storm. The storm actually split the tree in half. We get about 2 or 3 fairly heavy thunder storms a year and if you are in the path you end up getting some damage. There are people in the area who need tree service every year. In terms of punctuality, they were working for somebody else and I need them to help out at that point of time. I would use them again in the future.
