FLOORING DEPOT

When we purchased the flooring, we were given the impression that the flooring would be able to hold up to fish tanks (full of water) and our two large dogs (claws and accidents). In March 2008, our dog had an accident on the floor, which damaged the flooring, we were very upset and contacted Flooring Depot to rectify the situation. We were planning on listing our house within the month and needed to have the repairs done quickly. We were told it would not be a problem. After several phone calls (it should have only needed one), they sent people out to look at the damage, and we were told they would do the repairs under the 25 year warranty we were told the floor had, and were told someone would call within the week to schedule the repair. After a week, no one called, and we called the store and left several messages. Finally I had to go into the store to talk to the manager. He told me that they would NOT cover the damage, and we would have to pay ourselves. Because we were listing our house, we did not have time to argue and agreed to pay. After another week, no one called to schedule the appointment, and I had to call again. They sent out an installer VERY late in the day, and they did not have time to perform the work. After another week, they told us they would need to order additional parts. By then, I finally contacted the district manager, who contacted the store, and had everything installed within the week. I was very unhappy with the customer service, and the communication from the store. It was hard to get anyone to talk to me, or to call me back. The product did not hold up they way we were lead to believe, and we did not get the support we expected. Installation was professional and repair was completely quickly and done well.
