+ 0 moreThe job was done professionally, with good results. It did require creating holes in the drywall, one hole between each of the studs. The holes were filled with foam after the insulation was injected into the cavities, so I can patch the drywall by covering over the foam. The job took maybe four or five hours, and I was happy to see that the crew cleaned up the area well before leaving. The rooms on the interior next to this wall are now noticeably warmer when it's cold outside.
Description of Work: Energistics beefed up the insulation in the finished wall between my house and my unheated garage. This involved injecting cellulose fiber into each wall cavity along a 30-foot wall that already contained inadequate fiberglass insulation batts from the original construction of the building.

Description of Work: We had a fireplace insert installed a couple of winters ago and cold air was coming in around the unit. The company that installed the insert (Bratcher Heating and Air Cooling) was not interested in helping us, but they did recommend having Energistics come out and look at it (incidentally, Bratcher should have picked up this bill as their install was incomplete). | |Energestics came out and was going to run a test to find where the air was coming in, but the guy was pretty heads up and did an inspection first. He stepped through it logically eliminating everything but the cause. He ended up not running the test and saved me about $100. They installed a cap around the intake and exhaust pipes. In the process they noticed the flashing around the flue facade was run under the shingles on the bottom side; which led to a roof repair. The guy from Energistics was very knowledgeable and I've very pleased with their work.

+ -1 moreAndy and Brian did excellent work for us, even though cold and snow was making their work schedule pretty difficult. They let us know how and when they would get to us, and then came through with a great project. We have worked with Energistics before; they insulated the basement in our previous home. We will work with them again: insulation for our second floor.
Description of Work: Energistics insulated and foamed the sill plate for three crawlspaces at our new home. They also used reinforced plastic to cover the crawlspace soil, and extended the plastic up the walls, sealing carefully at all seams.
