Benson's Appliance

Jim was out here within a few hours of my call, diagnosed the problem and repaired it at a reasonable cost. Their fee for the basic service call was half of what the first place I called charged. Jim was efficient and cleaned up after himself. I’m very pleased.

I have purchased several appliances from this company; washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. I've purchased four used washing machines over 20 years. Two of the four lasted 5yrs and 12yrs. The third lasted 20 months. The last only lasted 10 weeks! They give a 30 day guarantee on used appliances, so it's always a crap shoot to purchase a washer used, but I thought that when spending over $300 on an appliance that they would stand behind their product. Alas, when the used machine that I had purchased only 10 weeks before caught on fire, the best they could do for me was to offer me 80 bucks off of a new machine. Shoot, I later bought the same new machine they offered me for and quot;80 bucks offand quot; at another store for exactly $1.22 more, delivered and installed with the old machine carted away. And the other store gave me a free extended warranty for five years. I was so dissappointed with Benson's lack of concern about the product they sold me. A shrug and and quot;that's the way it goes when you buy used appliancesand quot; was the best they could do. Had they even offered me half of the value of the used machine toward the cost of another washer, I might have been appeased. But to shrug it off made it easy for me to walk away from this store with no feelings of loyalty left. Buyer beware.

I made an appointment with them and they called in the morning of the appointment and scheduled an exact time. The Tech showed up on time and in less that 10 minutes had the problem isolated. He had the part in his van and made the repair. The whole process took around 30 minutes. Everything has worked fine since that time

I have always been very pleased with them both for sales and services. I would certainly recommend them for both purchases for appliances and services. They have a good selection of appliances from a number of top brands. I think their prices are very competitive. They offer prompt delivery and installation. Service is always prompt. When I needed service they have always sent somebody out within 24 hrs to work on the stove or refrigerator. I did not pay anything for the service as it was still under warranty. They sell appliances and they have their own affiliated repair force that comes out under their name. If I am looking for the best price I would probably go somewhere else but I tend to buy high quality equipment form people that I trust and know that they are going to be around. If I compare them with others who doesn't have their own captive people all the time, I get a better overall result from small retailer like Benson's. I will use them again in the future.

I had them twice; they were awful and charged me for a warranty work. The technician was unable to fix to and he was very nasty. The advertisements they placed were very misleading. I will never use them in future.

I can't remember exactly how much we spent on their services but it was roughly around a $100. Overall the service was positive. I thought they did a good job. They were timely. They zeroed right in on the problem and they made the repairs, and verified that it worked. I thought it was good. I don't have a perspective regarding price. They were the only ones that we called and so I don't know about the price. We have an old drier. They were very responsive and punctual. We will use their services again in the future.

Our dishwasher had been failing to get the dishes clean. I called them on Monday and made an appointment for Tues. between 12PM and 1PM. At 12:10 the repairman, Jim called and he arrives 10 minutes later. He quickly determined the cause of the problem. He had the part on the truck and made the repair. The whole operation took less than an hour. We have bought most of our appliances from Benson's over the past 25 years and have called on them for service on several occasions during that time, and have always been happy with their service. They are not always the lowest priced, but the quality of their products and service are always worth it.
