ALLIED WASTE SVC

Anyone use ALLIED WASTE as their garbage collectors!! BE WARNED. This company is BAD NEWS. We first signed on with Allied at $68 per month for garbage collection services. As months passed....the bill kept rising, and an alarming pace. Finally it hit $145 per month, and knowing my neighbors were all paying $68-$70 with another service, I called to complain. I threatened to leave due to ridiculous prices. The gal on the phone was nice enough and quickly reduced my rate again, back to its original price of $68 per month. Nice? No......... Since they lowered my rate, I have been fighting with them for over 6 months now to get my bill to reflect the new rate. Hours of time spent calling them every month. Promises upon promises made.....all broken. I have spoken to countless supervisors, who all PROMISE they will get the bill straightened out. All broken promises. They still continue to send me a bill with the old prices. So I switched companies. Very happy with new service....but today got another bill from Allied Waste NOW they are threatening to sue me.....for the difference of my new rate, to my old rate. I have no contract with them, or any other possible reason for this billing to be so wrong. When I call, the supervisors seem just as frustrated as I am, and readily tell me I do not owe them any money!! . They cannot explain it. Yet.... this has been going on for 6 months!! The ALLIED WASTE company is BAD NEWS. If you live in a rural area and need garbage collection services.....BE WARNED.
