I was never called. Apparently they are not interested

I left a message over a month ago and never heard back. I have since hired someone else.

Completed. I was told I should check with a heating and cooling business to make sure the fireplace was to code. It turned out that I should not use the fireplace. Floor of fireplace could crumble after a few fires! So glad I took the suggestion!

They were quick to respond to my call and were able to schedule me quickly. I appreciate that they gave me a small window of time to expect them instead of being told to wait for them all day. When they were here they were professional, friendly, and finished in a timely manner. Not only that our chimney, fireplace, and glass were sparkling! Not sure they have ever been so clean.

Called and texted a few times but never heard anything back from them. Disappointed!

He was very responsive and punctual. He came out the very next day after we called, gave us a price, and did the work the same day. We called several other people and he was the only one who responded. He was a very nice young man and gave us a good price. He was very honest and truthful about our situation and I would recommend him.

Everything was fantastic! Mike showed up on time, was very courteous, and left ZERO mess behind. I wasn't sure what to expect from a chimney cleaning/inspection, but this was the smoothest experience I've had when selling our home. Mike gave me an estimate within 2-3 days of my initial phone call and completed the work less than a week later. They were very fast, curious, and did an amazing job for a very fair price. It was a much easier and most cost effective fix compared to replacing the entire concrete landing area. My initial phone call to inquire about an estimate was returned within one hour. Outstanding service and I would highly recommend them to anyone and will use them any time I need masonry work done.

Returned call same day. Got an estimate the next day. After we agreed on work and price, Mike was able to start the following week. Did a great job, and was done ahead of time. NO clean up on my part after he was finished.! I would definitely recommend A1 masonry .

One of the most impressive things about A-1 Masonry is their attention to detail on the brickwork. They made sure that we had a good match for our 20 yr old house brick and recommended the waterproofing. But just as important is their customer communications. They always returned our calls quickly and kept appointments on time. A couple years ago, we had some unpleasant experiences with another company that were horrible at communicating with us and getting work done when they said they would. But A-1 Masonry was the complete opposite, and we were very impressed by their professionalism and timeliness. The labor and materials estimate (in writing), and the time it would take to do the work, was spot on....No surprises. The work was done in about a day, and they complimented their work by cleaning up the area and moving the landscape rock, that had been against the brick, back in place....Even better than it was before. The owner, Mike, was friendly and professional. This company was recommended to us by a friend who does masonry in another city, and the business that provided the materials had high recommendations for A-1 Masonry as well. We are extremely impressed by A-1 Masonry and would highly recommend them. In fact we are having them do another project on our house. Great job and extremely satisfied.

and job completed on time. very well done. cannot tell the new mortar from the original. all damaged areas cannot be seen now.. arrived when scheduled and finished when promised.

Great. Workers chiseled out old mortar and replaced it with new. The work area was left as clean as when they came. They got the job done in one day.

Mike was ahead of schedule and as a result offered additional services and a discount off the labor/material. It is refreshing to know someone isn't taking advantage of you and is truly appreciative of having a good customer.

Mike was awesome. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. Mike called right away after I left him a message. He started job and finished job when he said he would. I was very happy and would use Mike in the future!

I had some mortar on the front of my home that needed to be repaired in a timely manner. Mike responded to my call within hours and came out to give me an estimate on the same day. Repairs were made within the week. He was great to work with.

Mike Porzelius, the owner of A 1 Masonry, responded within 24 hours to a message I left on his voice mail. He made an appointment--again, very soon--to inspect my brick and provide a bid. I accepted his bid and he began the work within a couple of days. His manner is professional, and friendly, and his work was extremely attractive, garnering the praise of two neighbors the day after he finished. He cleaned the area thoroughly when he was done. I would recommend Mike to anyone seeking high-quality, reasonably priced, and prompt masonry work.
