Description of Work: I did not use this company's service due to the cost. They wanted to charge me 3 times what I paid with my previous service company.

Description of Work: Springsoft installed the water softener in our newly built house. It was doing a great job, and then starting last week, the water turned yellow. We were obviously distressed by this, so I called Lou Negron, the person responsible for our account. Lou ( who is also known as "Dr. Water") came out the same night I called him and discovered that we ran out of salt for the water softener. Instead of just telling me where to buy this, he accompanied me to the Home Depot and made sure that I bought exactly the right type of salt. He and I then transported back home and loaded up the water softener, and he made sure that I knew how to operate it properly. He also tested the reverse osmosis water, which he also had installed.

Description of Work: I was having trouble with my water having a lot of iron in it. I called a well company that recommended I start with a check of the water softner and they recommended Springsoft. I made an appointment on Monday and they sent out a serviceman on Wednesday. The service man was very polite, he took time to explain everything I needed to know about the softner and how it works and what I should do to keep it running smoothly. I was very happy with him and his knowledge that he was willing to share with me. Job well done!

Description of Work: Used this company in this residence by renting a water softener since July 2003. Machine worked fine up until the last 6 months. (Rental fee was $15.00 per month.) During the last 6 months the machine didn't make soft water, had to call for repairs; the service call was scheduled in a reasonable amount of time - a few days later. However, the machine was not fixed and I continued to get water spots and hard water and water stains in my brand new stainless steel kitchen sink. I had them back again and it was still not fixed. After a few weeks, I called and asked for a new softener since the original one seemed to be unfixable. The service man came out without a new machine. He said he fixed it; I told him I still wanted a new machine. He told me he would tell his boss and his boss would definitely call me. No one ever contacted me, even though on the completed work order I signed I wrote that I wanted a new machine. I finally called another company and sent an email to Springsoft telling them to come and take their machine away. No response after 3 weeks. I called their answering machine and said to pick it up within 4 days or it would be taken to the curb for disposal on the following Friday. They made arrangements to pick it up the next day. However, when they picked it up, there was no salt in the machine, but there was some salty water. They dumped it out all over the next door neighbor's driveway instead instead of into the sewer in the street by my curb. The salt stained and the neighbor spent over an hour trying to get the salt stain out of his driveway so that it wouldn't make his dog sick. I had used this firm from 1974 through 1885 before I moved out of state for awhile. The service in the last year deteriorated drastically from the service they formerly provided. This was one of the very worst experiences I have ever had with a provider.

Description of Work: REMOVED AND REPLACED 12 YEAR OLD WATER SOFTENER WITH A NEW MODEL.

Description of Work: INSTALLED 2 TANK TURBULATOR (TT320) WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM. TESTED WATER PRIOR TO INSTALLATION AT OUR REQUEST. WE HAD TWO OTHER COMPETITORS PROVIDE THE SAME WORK ESTIMATE BUT THEY WERE CONSIDERABLY HIGHER.
