Description of Work: The design work was excellent. They managed my add-ons well and the crew that did the installation was respectful and accommodating, making every effort to inform me and communicate with me. Not cheap, love the 2 yr warranty on things they plant.

Platt Hill Nursery is simply inconsistent. In the heat of the summer, it's tough to get advice or help as all the workers are excessively busy and if I arrive during "off hours" they are not easily available. In the outdoor gardens directly before or after Peak season I have been successful in finding a Great Informative Person to Assist or answer any questions. Too far Out of Season, no one is around and I understand that. The service area in which I find most lacking is Inside, upon check out especially off season. I myself often find myself as a bit of the off season later shopper, to tie up some loose ends or complete a part of my garden I believe is lacking or as in this time of year to just add a few touches for Fall before winter. The cashiers are either in a huge discussion about their personal lives or whatever the issue of the day is; I do not want or need to be greeted in a fake type of a way, I don't need a greeting. I just need some acknoweledgement upon my completion of shopping or an inquiry if I should need something. I always feel as if I'm disturbing them to "check out" and pay for my products. The other day I asked about Lilly Bulbs. I am 60 years old; every so many years rather than dig up my "Lillie bulbs" I simply replant them and do so in the Fall Season. So I asked if they had no Lilly Bulbs as I didn't see any. The cashier gave me a look as if I just fell off the moon; and stated that the lilies were for Spring. Ok, but I've done it this way and use to purchase in the Fall and produced Summer Lilies, but now every location is too busy displaying Christmas goods for sale earlier and earlier, but at the same time offending a consumer such as myself. I just don't need to shop at a location that I feel as if I should apologize for disrupting their work day while spending my money there. Platt Hill Nursery carries and produces Quality Products but I am tired of the inconsistency from warm to so very cold employees. I can obtain the same helpful information at any Nursery. I will need to drive further but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere rather than come home each time stating how much I dislike their service.
Description of Work: I did not have any services provided by Platt Hill Nursery, they are my Local Nursery but each time I go into this location I am disappointed. Normally I drive into two towns over to a Nursery in another town and that in itself is a shame that I cannot support Local.

I don't think I really ended up with the tree I picked out, and I also don't think the level of service is in line with the high prices they charge. I shop here regularly for plants, mulch & sod, so I am familiar with all the staff, and some of them are rude.
Description of Work: planted a maple tree in my front yard
