THE GOOD: They were very clean: laying down drop cloths where ever they needed to walk; good clean up after each day's work. They showed up on time and worked full days. The quality of the work was very good. Except for a snag with the custom vanity that delayed things, the job would have been completed in three weeks. We found Marcen very accommodating to our needs. He's extremely friendly. He offered a lot of suggestions, but was never pushy. He always deferred to our wishes. THE BAD: While his original quote was very detailed - the final bill ended up being about $2000 more than we anticipated. The extra costs were due to: - the need to repair our toilet flange to install the new toilet - the need to repair our main water shut-off valve (it broke during the remodel) - repair of closet framing (due to wall studs having to be moved) - carpet trim installation - hand stained base trim and install - bathroom vent relocation and installation We can't really place blame on Image Design in this regard. We understood they were performing work that was above and beyond the original quote. We should have been asking Marcen for the detailed costs of these extra items along the way. Also in retrospect, we should have questioned whether we should have been charged for the shut-off valve repair and closet framing. It could be considered damage on their part. BUT, we didn't. That was naivety on our part. Had we questioned it, I fully believe we would have reached a mutually satisfactory agreement. SUMMARY: Overall, we were very pleased. Our family loves the bathroom. Our friends were very impressed. We would highly recommend Image Design (Marcen and his team). In fact, we have family members that are looking to remodel their bathrooms and we've already recommended Marcen and Image Design.

When meeting with Marcin, he was always prompt, helpful, and patient. I was having a hard time visualizing and making decisions, so he made suggestions, showed samples, and made sure I got what I wanted. I love the end result, and would highly recommend him to others.

The outcome of both jobs is just beautiful. I wish that I hadn't waited so long to do these projects. I now have a great 19" deep soaker tub with a color that just blends in perfectly with the current marble tile and wall colors. The new shower door in the lower level has also transformed my second bathroom. I highly recommend Marcin for all your bathroom remodeling needs. He's a very punctual and hard worker. His design ideas were so helpful to me and I couldn't ask for more. Actually, he did go beyond the basic work requested and installed a cover for the shower light that was so ugly, replaced the exhaust fan cover and then he even replaced a door handle to my garage door that was constantly sticking as he was going in/out of my garage.

We had worked with this company before by having a bathtub insert installed. Marcin does wonderful work and found out that he also could lay tile floors. We used him and a sub-contractor, Tom, to do this work. Marcin came out about a week in advance of the tile laying to scope the project. He found out that there were no shut-off valves on either the toilet or sink and scheduled a day to complete that portion of the work so that we wouldn't be without in the entire house during the two days that it would take to do the tile preparation. Tom came on a Saturday to start the process of preparing the floor. He then returned on Sunday to finish the job by applying the grout. Tom did an excellent job of measuring, cutting and placing the tile. Marcin returned on Monday to measure, cut and paint the floor moldings.

Marcin was very knowledgeable & professional in all dealings. He had great suggestions on the tile/color as well as the ideas for the shelves in the tub/shower section. He took the time to explain what the problems were that we were experiencing with the tile floor and what needed to be fixed. He even showed us how the sub floor was not properly level which was causing our problems with the tile floor. He was the one who suggested having shelves put in to help eliminate the marks being left by messy shampoo bottles on the tub ledge rather than spending unnecessary money to replace the tub / shower walls.

Marcin first got in contact with us three weeks ago after I sent an email to him regarding putting a liner over our existing bathtub. I also sent pictures with that email. Several years ago we had an idot in who put a non-slip surface on the bottom of the tub which began to wear off after one year. The bathtub surface was completely ruined from this shoddy work and no one would re-glaze the tub because of a slight dip in the middle that would cause the re-glazing to possible warp and chip off. We didn't want have the entire bathtub pulled out and wanted a good alternative to major construction and cost. The bathtub insert was the answer. Marcin set an appointment to meet us a little over a week ago and explained the process in great detail. He brought in cross-sections of a bathtub to show how the liner would be attached over the old tub. He also left a nicely presented color brochure for our review. We decided right then that we wanted this done and Marcin then took the exact measurements. He indicated that it could take 3-4 days for the tub insert to be ready due to the 4th of July weekend. He called and set up the appointment to do the job to fit around our schedules. He arrived at the designated time and went about laying drop cloths up the stairs and down the hallway to the bathroom. In about 2.5 hours the job was done and it looks great. He told us not to use the tub for at least 24 hours to that the processes could set. He also indicated that if we had any problems with the tub such as calk cracking or seperating, he would come back and fix it. We found out that Marcin also does tile work and we discussed replacing the linoleum in the bathroom with quality tile. He gave us valuable hints about what tile to purchase and what molding to use to replace the moldings that are there which are discoloring because they were not designed to be used in a bathroom. We will definitely use him for this project also and possibly for some other tile projects we have in mind. ' +

Marcin came on 2 separate evenings to give us a quote and help us in choosing a pattern. He was so patient with us as my husband and I were in disagreement at times. We never felt rushed into making a decision and his guidance was very helpful. He arrived right on time the day the work started. He worked all day and never even stopped for lunch. He came back a second day, on time again, to finish the job. The finished product is beautiful. On one of the nights he came, we showed him our other tub with a drain cap that had rotted and we were unable to remove it and replace it. He said he could fix it for us. When he came back to do the new shower we asked him how much would it be for him to fix the other tub and he said "don't worry about it". When he finished the new shower he fixed the bad drain cap. He had some difficulty in removing it and finding a replacement that fit. He didn't stop until he solved the problem and replaced the drain with his own supplies. There was no charge. Overall, he was efficient, professional, and very friendly. We would call him again and feel confident recommending him to other people.

Marcus explained process completely when giving me estimate. His price was reasonable. He was prompt, his craftsmanship was above average and he was immaculate keeping mess to a minimum and cleaning up after himself.

. He came in March 24.He put a new bathtub and surrounded it. The cost was 3300 $. He was very professional, prompt he left the bathroom clean. His price vas very fair.

Marcin was on time. R & R plumbing and installed new walls, faucet, border and shower caddy- very professional/pleasant. Marcin went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. Looks Great!

Marcen was great to work with, and his pricing was far more competitive than others on this site. The closest one in line was double or triple the price (I think it was BathMax of Chicago?) Would definitely leverage his services again if I had another bathroom needing to be done.

Marcin was very professional and efficient. He handled our job while we were out of town. It took 4 days total and when we returned everything was clean, replaced, and works wonderfully. He added in the repair of the faucet and caulking for free.

The work was done quickly, expertly, and very professionally. The floors were protected as the work was being done. Tarp was laid on the stairs. The finished work is beautiful. All in 3 days! We were very impressed with Marcin's initial visit. His sincerity and honesty were recognized immediately. He is very knowledgeable, truthful, and thoughtful as far as suggesting specifics such as suggestions. He was also very prompt each day and even called to check on his helpers and see if we were satisfied after each step.

They arrived on time, worked throughout the day and completed the work that he contracted. I am pleased with the outcome.

Marcin came out to give me an estimate. He was very informative on what to expect from a tub liner, both the pros and cons. What he said made sense, and the price was right. He did the measurements on the initial visit. He did the installation himself and did a good job. There were a few tricky parts to the installation, and Marcin explained how he would handle those. I really appreciate being kept informed on the how the job is going. The tub looks great and has made a real improvement in the way the bathroom looks.

Marcin showed up on time, prepared and ready to work. He completed the job ON TIME, when he said he would and it looked more beautiful than I had even hoped. Very professional and GREAT at what he does! A+
