WNUK Construction

I did not hire Wnuk due to lack of punctuality and responsiveness. I had to call three times to get a return phone; the only reason I stuck with it is because they were recommended by a friend. The arrived a day early for the appointment and I wasn't home. One gentleman (not the GC) returned the next day for our scheduled appointment and it was obvious to appease me only because he took no notes and said the GC would have to come back. The GC returned three days later with a plumber and two electricians. They arrived on time, but they said they would be here for 30 minutes and were here for over an hour. They said they would submit a bid in the next several days and I have yet to receive a bid (I have followed up three times). I would not recommend Wnuk to anyone.

Last year in August, we contacted Wnuk (on the advice of a neighbor who had used the company) to get an estimate to replace our siding. Wnuk came out promptly, however, the estimate that was sent was vague. We weren't sure what was included in the estimate, and called the office with follow up questions. Neither he nor anyone else in his office returned our call. We had to put off the project for a few months, and when the siding company that we'd decided on couldn't do the job after all, I contacted Wnuk once again to see if they'd be available to come out to give us a new quote. I assumed the first time was an oversight. Despite speaking directly to a woman who answered the phone at the office, I have still not heard from Mr. Wnuk two weeks later. I'm told his company does excellent work. Couldn't tell you from my own experience, and won't be chasing him down anymore to find out.
