Description of Work: change out faucet for the kitchen and made sure the pipes were clear

Description of Work: Replaced old water lines to kitchen sink, replaced faucet and sprayer. It was a complicated job since there were about 20 elbows/joints, and very old house with jury rigged system. Service person explained requirements clearly and completed the work on time and budget.

Description of Work: I had Hannah Plumbing come out to fix a leak and switch out my kitchen faucet. They did a great job and even answered a question about my problem via e-mail before coming out.

Description of Work: This "deal" turned out not to be a "deal" at it. It cost me money. The deal description read: "$49 for plumbing evaluation call and $49 credit toward repairs." My bathroom sink wasn't draining and my husband was not able to open it by rodding it out, so I purchased the deal to have someone come out and evaluate the problem. Plumber Mike B said the sink needed to be rodded with his power rodder and I gave the OK to do it. The charge came to $196.33 but he only gave me the $49 credit toward the repair, not the additional $49 I paid to have the problem evaluated. I called the office and was told that an "evaluation" is not to diagnose a plumbing problem, but to evaluate the plumbing on a house, for example when someone is considering purchasing a home. There is no mention of this on the big deal description, and this was not explained to me when I booked the service online through Angie's list and added this note "bathroom sink clogged; unable to rod out." So I paid $49 for the deal, got my $49 back in the credit and never got the "evalution" the deal was supposed to cover. I could have gotten the some discount by just being an Angie's List member. My experience gets worse, however. After plumber Mike B left, I discovered water pouring through my basement ceiling tiles, down the walls and onto my laminate wood floor. I cleaned it up and Mike B returned on another day to look and found that his power rodder had burst through the pipe in the basement causing the damage. On yet another day Hannah's Plumbing sent two other plumbers (initials AZ and IF) to fix the pipe at a cost of $720. I am still out the cost of replacing the ceiling tiles. And I had to take time off of work on three separate days to have everything resolved. Not a good deal at all!

Description of Work: Mike was concerned not only about getting the our kitchen drain opened, but to do it in a way that did not cause problems for others in our condo building!! He was terrific!

Description of Work: The initial call was to have one problematic toilet looked at, and to help determine why my water bill had nearly doubled in usage (and tripled in price) over the past six months. I wound up having all 4 toilets looked at and serviced, i.e., replacing worn-out valves. The technician was timely, polite, efficient and answered all of my questions, even showing me how to replace the pieces myself next time. I haven't gotten my next water bill, so don't know if that work addressed my usage concerns. But I was quite satisfied with the work done.

Description of Work: Extended a plumbing exhaust pipe through the roof and re-connnected the water heater relief to the drain pipe in the floor. My experience has been good from start to finish. I spoke with Greg initially during evening hours and he was very polite and made sure that my request for an estimate was quickly routed to the office. The people who came out for the estimate were extremely polite, readily gave me information about how and when the repairs could be done and cleaned up after themselves after going up into the attic. The people who did the repair were the same. The price was very fair. I would use Hannah's again and recommend them.

Description of Work: Said I should not have purchased deal as clog was easy to diagnose. Coupon was meant for plumbing problems that I didn't know what the issue was...WHAT?? Extremely expensive to fix clog. Was there less than 1/2 hr. and cost was over $200 even with 10% "Angie's list discount."

Description of Work: clear sewer line from sewer pit to street, approximately 80 feet. Went ok. cleared existing blockage attributed to the large amount of roots near the street end of the line.
