I would highly recommend Greg. He was prompt and courteous. He explained what happened clearly to me and my Mom. He guaranteed his work and told us if we still had leakage to call him back. I felt completely confidant in Greg's skills and trusted him.

This is the extreme case of several examples of my experience of the state of the art among contractors. The excuse, and the one offered by Angie's List in defense of such behavior, is that the contractors are really busy. Me, too.

These guys did a tremendous job; they performed all of this work in 1 day, they did it the day after I called them, and all of the work they performed was work that I asked them to do. They didn't try to suggest any work that I didn't need. Our original problem was low water water pressure on the hot water. It had been low since we moved in 3 years ago, but then all at once it was reduced to a trickle. I surmised correctly that when we recently used all the hot water in our 12 year old tank, it drew sediment from the bottom of the tank and nearly totally clogged some of our pipes. What a difference a new water heater & air-ramming the pipes made! The hot water pressure is now 3-4 times greater than when we first moved in 3 years ago. We live in an 80 yr. old home with 1/2 inch pipes & Greg's guys made it work like new plumbing. I was also very happy with the other repairs that they made. I should have called these guys 2 years ago.

On time and courteous, after meeting Greg the owner, I felt comfortable enough to give him my house keys, since I could not be present during work hours. He left the the basement clean after the work was done.

Greg Hannah, who is the owner of the company overseen all plumbing work at my property. My case was a very difficult case, because there were plumbing code violations, which they had to correct. Greg assured me that by the time, he and his two other team members are finished with the plumbing job, I will be very happy & most certainly have my "rough plumbing" approved by the City of Chicago's plumbing inspector. True that word, the plumbing inspector arrived to check the plumbing, after they had completed work & the inspector okayed the work. Greg and his two other member team were always very well-mannered and on target with schedule. Amazingly, Greg's honesty impressed me, which is unfortunately lacking in a lot of tradesman in our community. I was cheated by two contractors, and was left with a big pile of mess in my remodeling project. Unfortunately for me, having encountered with a lot of unscrupulous tradesman, Greg and his team were a "breathe of fresh air" to work with.

Called Saturday and they were able to come out first thing the next Monday. Work was completed in one afternoon. They quoted us $225 per bathroom (we have 3) and ended up charging us $300 per bathroom. The additional $75 was for parts. Seems a bit excessive for the limited amount of copper supplied, so their price ended up coming in right in the middle range of quotes, not on the low end as expected. For the time frame we were in, it was acceptable to us.

Greg is extremely knowledgeable, especially when it comes to local codes. His team was fast, efficient, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. They are an unbeatable value in this area. I received bids that were up to three times higher for this work from other contractors.
