Hannah's Plumbing & Maintenance

I called Hannah's Plumbing to repair a leaky handle for a bathtub. I wasn't too sure if anyone was going to be able to repair the leak, since our plumbing fixtures are original to the building. Dave, from Hannah's Plumbing, showed up the next day and diagnosed the problem to be with the stem. The diagnosis, the location of the part, and the time it took to install was about two hours. Overall, I was extremely pleased and would definitely call Hanna's Plumbing again!

We called Hannah Plumbing. They were very flexible w/our schedule as I wanted my husband to be home at the time (Saturday) and he had to work until mid afternoon. Husband and I were very pleased as the plumber Michael was up front and honest. We are planning on changing the fixture in the kitchen sink so Michael said may not be worth fixing if you are going to do that. However, since we are going to do that in about a year we asked him to proceed with the work. He was very clean and got the job done quickly. He also looked at our leaky outdoor spigot and gave us an estimate for that as well as the new kitchen fixture when we want to do that next year. We will for sure use this plumber in the future. Great job.

They have very good service. I felt the guy knew what he was doing. Showed me immediately what the problem was. It was a pretty simple fix and he did not try to push anything on me that did not need to be fixed. He gave me suggestions what to do to replace it. I felt he was very honest.

The repairman was at my house by 1:30. He showed me how the piping from the downstairs bathroom's sump pump feeds into the piping from the upstairs bathtub, just past the bathtub, then goes to the main feed. Because of the pressure released from the sump pump, the water/sewage naturally would end up in the tub upstairs. He re-routed the pipe to the main feed (like it should have been done originally). He also secured the pipe from the sump pump so it wouldn't rattle, making the loud noise.

The job went well. Very efficient and didnt put too many holes in the ceiling. He came unprepared, which drew out the process. after that everything went fine. Fixed the issue.

They came on the scheduled date and arrived at the agreed upon time. They discovered some additional sewer vent piping that needed to be replaced and took care of that with no additional charge. The two men who did the work kept us advised of when we could and could not use any plumbing (since the work involved cutting off our main sewer line to install a new joint). They kept the disruption to an absolute minimum, cleaned up everything when they were done, checked for any leaks and completed the work in the amount of time they estimated (5 hours of work). Both men were extremely professional and polite.

Each job has a cost attached to it wheather it takes 5 minutes or 1 hour. They were gone within the hour and everything was working correctly so I guess the cost was worth it though I thought the charge was a little high. We like the work they do and the attitude and professionalism they demonstrate so we would go with them again.

Everyone I've worked with has been very courteous and professional. The first toilet needed replacement on a couple of days notice before a Christmas party, and they were able to do it promptly for $100 less than the initial estimate. The second toilet cost a bit more (although still consistent with the estimate), but they were able to do the job in the time frame I needed.

They came out on Friday night, diagnosed the problem, returned Saturday and solved the problem!

I emailed with Greg Hannah's plumbing service prior to my counter installation on 6/6/12. They were going to come out that afternoon and reconnect my kitchen sink and dishwasher plumbing, but the counter installation people recommended that we let the sink cure over night. Ironically, I had two friends ask for plumber recommendations from me, and I said "These are the guys I am hiring, because they have straight As on Angie's List", and my friends used them and were totally pleased and would also rehire them! I called Hannah's and asked if they could squeeze me in the morning of the 7th, and they were able to do it. Mike called before he came out and arrived right on time. He was able to set everything up, and also realized that the dishwasher had been emptying in through the garbage disposal, which goes against code. He recommended that we spend the extra money and time and do it the correct way. He was able to put it all back together and it runs like a charm! They were completely professional and reasonable, I would definitely use them again in the future!

Yesterday, I went to run my disposal with water running down into it and the side sink erupted in a 5 foot high plume of stinky, gunky water. After cleaning up my kitchen, I saw that each of the double sink was backed up. After running the dishwasher, the sinks were both completely full to the brim of dirty water. I needed my sink, so I called Hannah's and hoped. They were available. Communicated and showed as they promised and fixed the problem. Mike was courteous, timely, knowledgeable and worked fast. In the middle of routing, my neighbor called, concerned at what she heard. I came to him and he stopped and was available for me to mention it to him and for him to affirm the noise of the routing would be in her pipes, but it would not cause any harm to her washer. Hannah's has twice now given us immediate, timely, efficient and affordable service. We will definitely use them again.

Service went very well, Michael arrived on time, listen to all that I wanted to have addressed, told me what could get done in the 2hr and what could not. He did about 1.5 hr of actual plumbing work and I took advantage of having a professional in the house and got rough estimates on how things could be addressed in the future. The work was well executed and was clean after he was finished. I would use the company again.I am very pleased.

Showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem and suggested several different ways to fix the problem. Left to obtain parts and returned shortly ( only had 1 tank on the truck and needed 2.) Installed the pressure control tanks on each water heater. Checked his work and cleaned up. Answered questions and left - total time , about 4 hours.

They came out the day after I called for an appointment. The plumber was on time and very nice. I am very happy with the results. My toilets and water softener are finally working correctly. The plumber was very respectful of me and my home, i.e., taking his shoes off each time he entered my house. I would definitely use them again.

We contacted Greg Hannah by phone, described the job and requested a ballpark quote and an estimate of how soon the job could be done. The quote was "between $500-$700" and after checking his plumbers' schedules, Greg said the job could be done the next day. I thanked Greg, told him I would get back to him after getting one more quote. I called back in approximately 3 hours to agree to to have Hannah's handle the job. Greg's admin assistant told me they had already put me into the schedule and to expect someone to be at our home the next day between 11:00 and 2:00. At 10:15 the next day Gary showed up at our door - early because the customer for his his 1st job of the day had not been home. Gary was great. He explained what he would be doing, answered questions about water heaters warranties, maintenance and operations, and was upbeat, polite and patient throughout the installation. Gary unpacked the new water heater, transported it from the garage into the basement (with a little guidance help from me), installed it, vented it, and brought the old water heater out to his truck. He offered to haul it away and I was happy to agree. The plumbing, gas lines and venting work is all top quality. The entire job took about 4 hours, including time Gary needed to get some parts at a local plumbing supply store. The charge for the work was $700, less $50 for an Angies List promotion we had found on the internet that was cheerfully accepted.

I called the service number in the afternoon on Thursday, identified myself and explained the problems I was having. The young woman who answered the phone remembered me from a couple previous contacts and said Greg could make it out the following morning between 9am and 11 am and asked if that would that be all right. I said that would be fine. Greg called the next morning about 10:30 to tell me he was on his way over. He came in and got right to work after I told him what problems I was having. The toilet in the bathroom on the main floor would not always flush completely. It is an old fixture but it fits with the age of the house and I had hoped it wouldn't need to be replaced. He looked in the tank and then the bowl and determined that the vent in the bowl was clogged. Greg cleaned out the vent for me and said I could help the issue by adding CLR to the water overnight on occasion to keep it clear. Then I needed a basement faucet removed and replaced with a new one I had purchased. He tackled that while I hung around to watch. He is very efficient, he cleaned up after completing the work and was very pleasant. I have used Hannah's Plumbing on a couple other occasions at my job when we needed professional advice and work done and Greg has always been truly great. He has been willing to help me out on short notice, is very professional, knows plumbing inside and out both commercial and residential, and I have NO fear he will do more than what the job actually calls for. I would not hesitate to call him in the future and recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber.

The work was performed professionally and totally to our satisfaction.

I called Hannah's plumbing to have someone to come out to determine what was causing the leak. Water was flowing down first floor wall which appeared to be coming from second floor. I also had a leak coming down the wall when the second floor bathtub was used. Hannah's had given a time of late afternoon, but Gary, the plumber was in the area and cam for the service call at 11:00 ! He called and indicated that he was in the area and arrived within 15 minutes. I explained the two situations and Gary quickly did a visual inspection. He first checked the toilet to ensure there were no issues from the outside. He thoroughly explained that he would need to remove the toilet to inspect the O ring and pipes. Gary was able to quickly determine that the O ring needed to be replaced. He also inspected the tub and determined that a corroded gasket needed to be replaced. Gary quickly went to work and was able to complete both jobs within an hour. They work was thorough and quickly completed. Gary also ensured that the area was cleaned after the job. As a female home owner it is also refreshing to work with someone who is honest and takes the time to explain the work being done. Gary did a great job and Hannah will always be called for my future plumbing needs !

I woke up to the pipes in my basement leaking. Based on Angie's List, I called Hannah's Plumbing. Gary Eldridge came out. He couldn't have been nicer or done a better job. This company, who I've not used before, will be doing all my plumbing work from now on.

I called Thursday afternoon about my issue, Mark came out first thing Friday morning and completed the work that day.

We called a couple of plumbers from Angie's list and choose Hannah because they were the only one that would not charge us to come out and give an estimate. They arrived within the time range they had promised, gave us a "total job" estimate (as opposed to only quoting their hourly rate) and had the pump installed (which cleared the pit) within an hour or so. We were very satisfied with their service and their price was competitive with other estimate we solicited over the phone. We would definitely use them again.

I called the company on 2-29-12 in the afternoon, due to a back-up in our organization's sinks. Water had overflowed in the restroom, coming from the kitchen sink's pipeline. I was given an appointment. for the next day between 2-3:00 p.m. Our company is located in Bridgeview, IL and they could not get there that day. The repairman did not arrive until about 4:30 p.m., although he did call about 3:45 p.m. to say he was running behind schedule. Once he arrived, he went right to work and had all the tools he needed in his truck. He rodded out the line and got everything working correctly. He also asked how we learned about their company, and then gave our organization a discount for using Angie's List.

Mike and the young man that came with him were both very kind and professional. They evaluated the problem and completed the job. They cleaned up after the job was completed and left no mess. It was a pleasure working with this company. I would call on them afain for assistance.

the service man came to examine my situations by visual inspections first. He asked me a few questions on what occurred when I ran water, he tested running water in the sinks tubs and toilets to pinpoint the problem. He then suggested several options for us to take to remedy the problem. He explained that if one situations did not work he will try another and hopefully it will correct the situations. Well the first solution worked. After one week I am completely satisfied with the work that was done.
