The prices were a little high. But they were quick and professional. They were very courteous.

Greg H spent time on the phone with me and decided he needed to do a site visit. His approach is very practical which seems to be very atypical of this trade. Most plumbers are quick to conclude the issue and to characterize it as major and needs to repair. Greg's advice was to wait and see if my two issues get worse before spending money

The provider was very kind and helpful- gave suggestions for how to deal with repairs we didn't want to make immediately. He was very kind to my son too- even though he wanted to watch everything he was doing.

Awesome, all the time. Never a complaint. We used Greg and his team for years for the building. We just haven't had any issues lately.

I asked for this contract to come out and provide visual/camera sewer inspection and sump pump and ejection pump inspection on a house I was proposing to buy. Mike arrived on time in a nice van. He asked about what I wanted and then proceeded to do the work, without needing to do a camera inspection (list $380). He explained the operation to me and answered all my questions. I asked him what the charge was and he said no charge. What a treat! Hannah will be on my list to call again when in need.

I contacted Hannah Plumbing on 05Nov2015 regarding possible blocked pipes to our boilers. Mr. Hannah came the next day, calling 45 minutes before our set time to let me know he was in route and would be there in 25 minutes. He evaluated the situation, thoroughly explaining what he believed the problem was. Part of the problem was the way the boilers were installed. It didn't help that the city of Chicago had spent a month installing new sewer lines, turning our water off and on almost every day for a month causing sediment to clog the pipes. He gave a price for replacing the pipes with copper, removing galvanized piping and installing copper and the dielectric unions and repairing a problem in the basement bathroom. I asked for his first appointment as the first floor apartment did not have heat. Fifteen minutes after he left his office called with a appointment on Monday, 09Nov2014. Mr. Hannah arrived at 0900hrs with his assistant Andy and checked to make sure we had gotten water for our needs before he shut off the water main, and completed the job by 1215hrs. He checked that all floors had proper water pressure and explained everything he did and cleaned the area he worked in taking all waste with him. He also checked the water main for any problems. He suggested we call our heating company back to finish there service call. They arrived as Mr. Hannah was walking out the door. Greg and Andy were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, polite and extremely thorough. They showed me the complete blockages in the pipes. He did not talk down to us as some contractors will sometimes do. I would also like to note that he came to my neighborhood without question. I am on the NW side of Chicago, west of Cicero at North Ave,( Belmont Cragin, just outside of Austin) . I spoke to several plumbers before Mr. Hannah and most would not come to the area, including one contractor just ten minutes from my home on North Cicero Ave. Their staff stated they worked more north of Belmont Ave. Mr. Hannah drove from Stickney. I know more about my heating system after his service call and will definitely use his company again.

Very helpful, explained issues and what needed to be done. Ended up doing a little more work than anticipated, but discounted appropriately. Very fair. Will definitely be using again for future work. He was a little late, but called ahead (the only reason Hannah doesn't get straight A's).

Wasn't home, Husband was there. Said they were thorough and had helpful things to say about work to be done in the future

The guys came out and sewer-rodded our line. They spent extra time by disconnecting our downspouts and explained to us everything in detail. Really good experience; definitely would recommend.

It turned out to be an easy fix, and he had all the tools and parts with him, so he was in and out in an hour and a half.

They are my "go-to guys". They may cost a little more, but they are worth it. I've used them 3 times now. they are also always booked but can get you in in two or three days.

I bought a $49 big deal for this service. My bill was almost $800 so I thought their final price was too high. I will not call them again. They were nice people, but we did not know it was going to be that high. I am not knocking the work but they should have given us an estimate beforehand, telling us how much it was going to cost.

A couple guys came in and did the job in a day. EXCELLENT work. The peace of mind we have today, knowing we will never have a sewer back up problem again is well worth the cost. I've waited to post this review because I wanted to go through a couple big rains first. Well we had a couple recent 'monsoons' with no problems. REALLY happy we did this.

Quoted job @ 1,000.00 after service tech talking to Greg by phone. Showed me what was going to be done going from cracked pipe and to the right of pipe replacing complex group of plumbing that would have to be removed, to complete repair. I agreed, as it looked rough (and buyers wanted certified plumber to do work). Plumber instead went backwards and replaced cracked pipe and the one elbow and one straight section of pipe behind that. Good god what a simple repair compared to the massive undertaking of work going to the right, 1/10 the of time and material. Problem starts now; as they not only still charged me 1,000.00 for this simple 90 degree section of pipe and elbow, but had the balls to call me and say they had to go further than original and it was going to cost me three hundred more. WHAT? I could have done the job myself in an hour, but as terms of home sale was contingent on a certified plumber doing the work, I contacted Angie's List and selected Hannah. I called Greg at Hannah plumbing and asked if he was serious and thought I was an idiot, he negotiated the price down to 800.00. Fine, still at least 300.00 more than the work time and material would dictate was necessary for this. "I" plumbed in spa tub, toilet, and sink in this house where they did not exist, so I know what to do. As a forty four year mechanic by trade we have had to do it all, from electrical, plumbing, body, paint and yes drive line work, i.e. engine /transmission/differential, and owning two homes and owning homes for years, I have done all my own work from plumbing, construction, roofing etc. . I can not believe what they tried and did manage to pull off here. I do not forsee any resolution, nor am I looking for one. I will say I would use Hannah Plumbing in the future, and as a recommendation, but I would not let them work without a video camera with a clock. If this comes under any dispute I have images of before and after work was performed. Again, now as everywhere else a video camera whether it's on a cops uniform, or your work place, PUT A CAMERA UP! $800.00 FOR WHAT WAS DONE HERE WAS A GOUGE!

They responded the same day and came the next morning. Very nice people. I will use them again.

They didn't end up doing any actual work this last time, though we have used their services before. They came out and determined that the pipes were not the problem and instead of charging us a lot of money for unnecessary work they were honest and told us to look into other possible problems.

The repairs needed to be done, but none required "emergency" service. I scheduled an appointment two days after my initial call. Alfonso, the plumber assigned to my job, arrived on time. He evaluated the time needed to complete the job and provided me with an estimate for services prior to beginning the work. Alfonso is the most skillful sericeman I have had in a long time. He completed the work carefully and in a professional and timely manner. He cleaned up nicely and took empty boxes and old parts with him when he left. I have used Hannah's Plumbing past and would definitely recommend them to others.

It went fine. There were additional prices other than what I paid for the big deal.

on a Saturday afternoon I noticed the ceiling beneath my bathtub was wet and falling down.. When I called on a Saturday, Greg picked up right away. We talked about the issue and agreed that someone could come out on Tuesday. Tuesday came and the office called to tell me they were on the way. The plumber arrived when they said. He looked at the situation and explained (and showed me) where the leak was coming from. He said that he could not repair it that day but for me to call the office to set up an appointment. I called, they called back right away to set up a service call for Thursday. On Thursday the same, good communication happened again. Two plumbers arrived (both very polite) and got right to work. They did the repair and then walked me through what was done. When I looked at the invoice the next day, I had a few questions. I called, talked to Greg, and he was able to answer all my questions clearly. While I don't love spending that much money, I know plumbing is expensive and I feel like in that context the price was reasonable. One thing I would change is that they did not really clean up the tub but all in all a really good experience. I will absolutely call them again!!!!!!!

They were punctual, polite and very professional. They arrived on time and explained what they were going to do to solve the problem. They worked efficiently and did a great job.

They were very responsive, replying quickly to my contacts requesting service. The guys were professional and considerate of my home. The repairs were performed quickly. I asked about additional services but they did not wish sell services they did not believe I needed.

Install went well except when they open the valve to the village, the water pressure sent tons of debris through the old pipes which in turn clogged up all of my facets. Ugh! In fairness, I was warned of this might happen and they did try to slowly bring on the pressure but it still happened anyway. June Update: Pressure sill good -- water still hot. No leaks no other issues -- all good.

Very efficient work. Really appreciated that they told me the 'root' of the problem and that they walked me through what they were doing. Took about 1.5 hours and it made a huge difference! Even gave me some literature to help me be more informed in the future. Thank you.
