My neighbors tress were all on my side and laying on my roof. They came out and trim them and trim my front tree. They really shaped my front and back tree beautifully. It started to rain but they kept on going and clean up all the debris.

We had a massive tree branch fall on our deck on a Saturday morning and feared the rest of the 3+ story tall tree would also come down. Brian answered the phone message within 10 minutes, then came to our house an hour later. His quote was very reasonable. I don't believe there was an additional charge for it being the weekend--he states he works 7 days a week. His crew arrived the next day (Sunday morning). They were very polite, professional, and considerate of our property/outdoor furniture. The entire job took approx 4.5 hours. The cleanup was excellent. We had called approx 6 services that offered 24 hour emergency service. By the time Brian's team had taken care of everything, I still hadn't heard from 4 of them. I will ABSOLUTELY call him in the fall for routine maintenance.

Went very well. Work was performed safely and cautiously. The men cleaned up all debris. They even swept the street. Our tree looks beautiful and should not require trimming for quite awhile.

While cutting the trees down, a large piece fell and crushed our AC condenser unit. The owner of the company had his tree guys take apart the unit and bang on it and stomp on it trying to bend it back into shape. We asked to have it inspected by HVAC professionals. He hired a company that said it was perfectly fine. Our company detailed the damage done and why it needs to be replaced. He refused to replace the unit and ordered a new cover so it would not look damaged despite the interior damage. We are now suing.

Very good experience. Brian came out for an estimate even though thunderstorms were threatening. Understood my concerns and offered expert opinion on what I might also need. We agreed on terms and date of service. Brian and crew arrived before appointment time and began work before I arrived. When I asked for a bit more of the tree to be trimmed the crew got right on it. While part of the crew was still trimming one of the men started to clean the debris. Eventually all pitched in to clean and used a blower to remove little items. They were fast, precise and friendly. I wish all companies were as reliable as Brian's County Tree Service.

Brian from County Tree Service did a great job with this work. He was able to get the job done quickly, clean up everything and acted with professionalism. Because of a hole in his schedule, he was able to show up a couple of days early which didn't give me a bunch of advance notice, but it actually ended up working ok for me cuz I was glad to get the work done and over. Brian also was helpful with a fence that was growing into the stump. He even brought his own tools to remove the fencing so he could remove the stump, then put the fence back together again. I would definitely use County Tree Service again in the future. Brian and his team are hard workers who are committed to the customer.

It's always easy to reach Brian on the phone. Often he was out to give an estimate within hours or minutes of calling. They always show up when they say they will. By now, I trust them enough to tell them to come whenever they can. By the next time I show up at the jobsite, the trees are always gone without a trace of debris or damage. They have their own crane and have seen them lift entire trees in the air to relocate them to a safer spot away from cars, wires etc.

Ease appointment setup. They came Saturday morning and finished all work in 6 hours. They removed all wood and cleaned back yard and front of house. I am very satisfied with the work.

Brian came out to give me an estimate about an hour after I first called. His price was less than half of what another company quoted me over a year ago. He was ready to do the work the next day, but I couldn't be there, so we scheduled it the day after. He was here on time with a crew of 8 guys and a crane. It was amazing to watch how quickly and efficiently they got it done. In 3 hours they were done, cleaned up the area and were gone.

They did a good job. They were here for an hour and got everything done. They were very reasonable in price and cleaned up after themselves. They listened to me and very accomodating. They were here on time.

Disappointing. I am thinking that they are geiraphically just too far away. Last time I must have hit it right - ie when they were going to be in my area

3 years ago County Tree removed my large 100+ year old tree using a crane and lots of machinery. I left a 6 foot stump because I wanted to do something creative with it. They did a great job - responsive, best price, timely professional, etc. 3 years later I decided to remove the stump in my yard as well as remove 2 tall junipers in the front of my house. I called County Tree Service, he called back immediately and was there within a day to do the estimate. The etimates was very reasonable - I did not even get a second estimate because I knew they were fair and I knew the work they did. Within a couple of days they cut the stump to the ground and the following week ground out the stump. I found Brian and the workers at County Tree to be very responsive, friendly and professional. I was satisfied with the job as well as the clean-up. If I ever havethe need for tree removal services in the future I would definitely recommend County Tree Service.

I contacted County Tree Service long-distance from St. Louis on behalf of my 86-year-old mom in suburban Chicago. She got their name as a referral from Winkler's, who came to give her an estimate but said they couldn't get their truck into her tiny back yard to get to the huge tree right next to the house. I talked with Brian about my mom's needs, and gave him her phone number. Mom told me he called promptly and then showed up with a team of eight guys to get all her needs (three trees down, two trimmed) done in one day. Mom gets stressed whenever workers have to do something at her house, but she told me the experience with Brian and his crew wasn't stressful at all--she was impressed with their professionalism and courtesy. I don't know what she paid but she told me she was very pleased. She will definitely use County Tree Service again.

We have one of the largest elm trees in Oak Park. The tree was glorious but very awkwardly placed between two houses and into part of our deck. We had estimates that were well over double what we got from County. They came when they said, got us a reasonable estimate quickly and were extremely professional. The only thing I regret is that I didn't call them first. They made a difficult and dangerous job go smoothly and safely and they cleaned up beautifully. They worked very hard and offered us a payment plan for the large tree. They were incredibly professional and were very careful. They actually had to lift the tree over our house and we never felt unsafe. They were absolutely wonderful! They are outstanding for large tree removal and also for smaller tree removal. I couldn't say enough positive things about them! I want them to have an A+ for their price and they honestly were very reasonable, but it never felt like I was hiring cheap work. THEY WERE AWESOME!

Overall a very satisfactory experience...Plus these guys were the least expensive of 4 estimates that I received and one of the first to respond to calls / emails I placed to ask for Bids...couldn't really ask for more.

Brian came right to our property to provide a written estimate. His estimate wasn't the cheapest we received, but his estimate included hauling away all of the woodchips and brush, and that (and his good reviews here) were worth the extra money to us. We explained that we needed the trees removed to put up a fence, and Brian said he would remove as much of the tree structure as possible, but the scrub trees (white mulberry, possibly one of the worst trees ever) could grow small saplings that we'd need to cut as soon as we saw them. We had figured that would happen, so that was fine. Brian explained that his crew is busy doing city work all day, and so they did all of their residential/private sector work at night. Also fine with us - that way we could see the action. He texted my husband on his way home from work to tell him they'd be at our house within half an hour. Brian and his crew showed up, and within an hour, they were done! We couldn't believe it. They were very efficient, and we watched one of the crew members climb up our big tree to take down the branches. Then my husband said, hey, they're going to take down the trunk! Come and look! And before I could even look up, they felled the thing. It was pretty amazing how they could cause so much destruction without causing bad destruction, if that makes sense. Brian explained that the soil may settle after a rain, and we may need to bring in fill dirt. He also apologized because he couldn't avoid damaging some ground plants. That was also fine with us, because those were plants we wanted to remove anyway. :) All in all, they did a great job, were a blast to watch, and we would hire them again.

I e-mailed them Friday morning, received a phone call around noon, and they were at my house by 6:00 p.m. Very professional and explained exactly what they would do. They came out the next day and had it removed, stump and all in less than four hours. Cleaned up after. If it wasn't for the tree being gone, you couldn't even tell they were there! Highly recommend!

Had gotten estimates from other services for the removal of a dead ash tree. No one could get the job timely. Called County and spoke with Brian. Explained the situation and he arrive to give me an estimate the same day. I asked when he could do the work and he said it would be an easy job and he could possibly do it later in the day. His estimate was lower than all other contractors. County Tree arrived a couple of hours later and did their work with professionalism and precision. While on my site, I negotiated to have trees that rubbed against the house and gutters trimmed. Great job doing that as well. These guys were great and they did a phenomenal job cleaning up, both in my yard, and my neighbor's property. Absolutely recommend them.

I called them and they were out the next day. They were very quick to respond. They did a really fantastic job. In 20 minutes they had it all pruned and cleaned up. They were great, but that might also be why they were so pricey. They were right on time the next day after I called them. They are close by so I know that they would be here right away.

Brian came out on the day I called him to give me an estimate for taking down a tree that was severely damaged in the recent wind storm. After accepting the very fair estimate to take down, haul away, and grind the stump, Brian came out the next day and did the job expertly. I highly recommended him to my boss that very day. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Excellent! I am very lucky to have found this Company. Bryan is honest and loyal to his customers which is hard to find in a Contractor. His prices are reasonable and he is down to earth. Both jobs he completed for me on a Sunday which is also rare to find.

Overall experience was great. Brian came over the same day we called on the weekend and gave us a quote. He showed pictures of past removals to alleviate any fears that they could not handle a large job. They have a large crane to do large trees. We setup a time and they were very punctual and went right to work after Brian described the work to be done to his co-workers. They worked diligently and were completed on time. They cleaned up after they were done and the yard was not damaged at all.

I called County Tree Service after reviewing Angie's list and was not disappointed. Brian came the same day I called and provided a competitive estimate and the service was completed the day after the utilities were marked. I was impressed with their work ethic and the manner in which they cleaned up the areas where the trees were trimmed and cut. I also received a senior's discount.

Very well. They were prompt, professional, and very accomodating; the tree had a flower bed with landscaping blocks around it, they worked around that and a chain link fence without complaint whereas other companies either said I myself had to remove the lanscaping blocks, dirt and chain link fence or else charged me an extra fee for doing so. Brian (they all go by 'brian', as their polish names are hard to pronounce) was responsive, professional, and experienced (even though the foreman appeared young). for example, he was careful about checking with the neighbor each step of the way regarding access to their property, etc.

I called and got a return call within a couple of hours from Brian. He came out right away and gave me a quote and then without my asking, gave me a better price. They came out within a week. Eight guys were here and got everything done quickly and cleaned up better than before they came out. I
