As the house is 100 years old some revisions to our plans were required because of what was found behind the wall, (e.g., the medicine cabinet had to be flush mounted instead of recessed. ) Unexpected plumbing and electrical problems were also uncovered. Ray is experienced in dealing with older homes, and was able to solve unexpected problems at no additional cost. He was able to immediately obtain the assistance of an well qualified electrician when electrical issues became complex. Ray was knowledgeable, thorough and clean. We were very pleased with the work done.

He was able to repair the leak and put the faucet back without the repairs being noticeable. He did a good job and we did not have to have him come back.
Description of Work: He repaired the leak behind the faucet in my shower.

Ray is an excellent carpenter and is extremely trustworthy. He is the only contractor we have ever called back to do more work for us. We trust him to be in the house at any time, and he has always been more than willing to do extra (even unpaid!) work. If he thinks something didn't come out exactly right, he will come back and redo it without us having to ask. He works well alone or with other people and is pleasant to be around. Most importantly, his work and work ethic are excellent. Highly recommended for bathroom remodels and other projects.
Description of Work: Ray has done multiple jobs for us. He redid our powder room ($6K) and our second floor bathroom (about $15K), fixed our deck ($400), installed new trim and woodwork, outfitted a closet, etc.
