Everything went well from start to finish. I wanted the job done before Xmas and they made every effort to get it done in time. The accomplished everything they promised.

They were great. They came right away for the estimate. It was a custom window. They said it would take 4 weeks. It only took 10 days. They cam early. They said it would take 2 hours and it took only 1 1/2. The cleanup was very impressive because they did it as they went along.

I have nothing negative to report. The salesman was no BS. Very clear what we were getting. No pressure. We needed the work done before we moved in. They were professional, on time, clean and thorough. They worked very long hours to get all the work done in just one day. I was very impressed all around. I will use them again, absolutely.

Airetite has replaced windows on two different homes we've owned. They are always responsive. Rich their estimator is easy to work with. There are no slick presentations and pushy sales presentations, like from other companies. The products are great and exceptionally fair priced. The price is what it is. They don't start high and negotiate back and forth, wasting your time. Rich did not try to sell us windows with the extra security features for upstairs windows since that would not likely be where someone would try to break a window to come in. They have a great reputation and positive references. They offer a long list of nearby references. They work quickly and meticulously. They took great detail in finishing the interior trim work (real old world craftmanship) and it is included in the price. They also took great care to recreate long gone detail for the outdoor trim and moulding around the bowed front window. That was an unexpected treat that left us delighted. In the first home they did for us, I mistakenly directed them to remove a window from the landing at the top of a staircase. Because the window was never used, we had not planned to replace it. But, by mistake, I told them to start on that window. Once the old window was out, they realized there was no replacement window, since one was never ordered by me. It was totally my mistake. But, they checked with their warehouse and found a window that would fit (it was an odd size). The window was a higher quality window than the others we had ordered. But they did not charge us for it!! They have a person that comes out during the work to check progress and quality of the work (Wojtec). He was so helpful in explaining how the windows operated and came back promptly when one needed to be adjusted. The two experiences we have had have been ideal. We have recommended Airetite to others. A co-worker just had them replace the windows in her condo. Airetite worked very well with the condo associations about their rules. My coworker could not have been more delighted as well. Don't bother spending a lot of time checking out others. We did all that originally and would have no hesitation recommending Airetite to others or using them again. Besides joining Angie's List to find a plumber, I also joined knowing I could use Angie's List as a way to say thanks to Airetite!

Great! Called them to report a large crack in a dining room window. They came out the next day to give an estimate. They taped the crack with clear heavy duty tape so that no one would run a finger over and get cut. It took a few weeks for the glass to come in, they called and we scheduled a date. Something unexpected came up for me and I needed to reschedule. I called them that same morning at 7:30 a.m. for a 9: a.m. arrival time and told them I had to reschedule. They were extremely gracious and we rescheduled for the next day. I also can't say enough about the man who came to actually do the repairs. Friendly, courteous, professional. This was a "little" job but I still got fast, professional service.

I thought they did a really good job. They were very reliable as far as showing up, communicating. I was impressed overall.

The company was very responsive and pleasant. From the date we placed the order to the time our custom windows were installed, it took about six weeks. The crews were able to complete a very large job in 3 days - although they initially said it would only take 2. They showed up later than we initially thought they were going to on Day 1. Our job was part of a larger effort by our condo development. We had some issues initially when the windows had a LOT of condensation on them (and even ice on the inside) during a sub-arctic stretch. However, the company reps explained that we needed to adjust our humidity levels inside the unit. Since we've made that adjustment - which had nothing to do with the window quality - we have had no issues. Overall, we have been pleased.

Excellent! The work was performed on schedule and quicker than I expected. They really look good and I think they will perform well. I used them last year to replace 2 entry doors an 4 windows on the first floor. Every thing went well and we are satisfied.

We had very few problems with them. Everything went as described. There was a problem in one bedroom that we had to come in to help with, but that was not their problem it was the whole situation. Everything worked out fine, so we had no problems with them at all.

Jim was awesome. He had the measurements done, the samples shown and the estimate drafted in less than an hour. He noted several important things about our job that would need special attention, and each of them were confirmed/repeated by other estimators. There was no upsell, no pressure and the price was the best we got. At the end, we decided - after a fair bit of anguish - to go with another company because the brand of window they carried seemed a better fit for our house. It will cost us a little bit more and I'm hoping we don't regret the decision. But to anyone in Chicago looking for outstanding value at an economical price point, I HIGHLY recommend Airetite and Jim in particular.

It took quite a while because of the complexity of the job but the team worked diligently and did an excellent job. They cleaned up afterwards exceptionally well. The windows looked incredible. This was the second job they did for me. The previous year they replaced three windows in my condo and the result was a $180 per year reduction in heating costs.

They were very prompt. It only took them a day or two to come out after I initially called them. It took them approximately three to four days to provide me with a written estimate. So far, I really like the company.

No work done, but excellent experience with the company.

The estimate was very reasonable. Lou was extremely nice, and professional. The install team was early, and did a very good job. They were fast, worked cleanly, and were very polite. They took the time to show us how the windows worked. I would recommend them to anyone. They do top-notch work!!!!

They removed the old windows and installed the six new windows. They did an excellent job.

After getting quotes from 4 different companies on Angie's List, and driving out to many showrooms in random suburbs, we finally found a window we liked with Airetite. We were looking for a clean, well designed window that didn't have all the extra "bells and whistles" that we hate (design wise). And it needed to be high quality and efficient. The basic vinyl window that Airtite showed us during our home consultation didn't really match what we were looking for (and it's hard to gauge from the small samples) so we drove out to the showroom and found a vinyl and aluminum window we love by Traco. This window costs more than your average vinyl window, but it was worth it (and we were able to negotiate a bit on the price a bit because we went with the more expensive window and it was off-season) Once ordered, the windows came in 2 weeks and were installed in less than 2 days. The installers did a great job. The whole house looks better and is much warmer as well.

I did have some problems using them which they corrected. They were good. I would probably use them again.

They put a door on that was having an issue with closing improperly, it started closing immediately. I called, complained, they were here right away to fix it. We were very happy with this work. They did our windows previously and we were very happy with that work.

I have one complaint: The installers refused to use the back door, all they had to do is move the truck around back and use the back door, after I asked them to use it, and they kept using the front door, and acted as though the conversation never took place. I have no complaints about any other aspects other than this.

The ordering and installation went very well. The salesman who gave me the estimate was very polite. The measurer was very helpful helping me to decide the configuration of the grids in the window so that they would match. They offered any configuration. I was told that the wait would be 4 to 6 weeks, but it was actually 3 1/2 weeks. The installation went very smoothly. The crew that installed the windows took great care to finish off the trim very carefully. The foreman took his time to trim things out so the windows would look the best. He really cared how the windows looked and did not just install them. Overall, it was an excellent experience.

Quick install and took the time to ensure that screen and storm window insert process was well understood and had one of each in the doors, to allow air flow in the summer / fall / spring.

They cleaned up after themselves, very professional, did a wonderful job.

The workers did a great job. They were on time clean up and haul away the old windows. I used air tight more than 10 years ago to install windows in my home they did a great job then and now 10 years later are still doing a great job. The price was good and there wasn't an extra charge because it was only two windows.
