+ -1 moreThe job went very well. It took a while to get it done because it was end of season and they had other jobs to finish. They raised the garage about 8" to get it properly slanted and did a terrifice job on the concrete, both on the garage and the street apron. They also added dirt on 3 sides of the garage so that it sloped properly. They also removed some old wood and pavers for us. In short, they went well beyond what was contracted and did not charge extra for it. You can't ask for a nicer person than Bob Lee. He and his crew were top notch.
Description of Work: replace concrete block in garage and repaved driveway apron to street. They also repaired our porch railings, which were coming loose from their concrete moorings

+ -1 moreIt was very hot when the concrete was poured and I overheard the workers talking about we will have to come back in the morning when it is cooler to pour the second half. They did the second half the next day, and this is the half that is crumbling. I am most upset that they refuse to acknowledge our problem.
Description of Work: Robert E Lee poured a large driveway for us which began crumbling after one year. It is now about five years old and looks terrible. It has big holes in it through which you can see the pebbles they used under the concrete. It gets worse every year and they refuse to answer my phone calls about it or acknowledge that they have any responsibility for the terrible results. This was a lot of money and I most definitely would never use this company again!

+ -1 moreMade an appointment for an estimate and the guy called to cancel the day of the appointment because "something came up the night before". Ok, first strike, but we rescheduled. He did show up on time then, but that was 3 weeks ago and haven't heard back since. Typical contractor - if they aren't interested in a job, why can't they just say so upfront instead of wasting my time waiting for them to get back to me. If you don't get good service before you pay them anything, it's unlikely to happen afterward.
Description of Work: Requested estimate for various concrete projects. No work performed - never got an estimate as promised.

+ -1 moreI SAW THESE GUYS WORKING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD, AND THEY APPEAR TO DO GOOD WORK, BUT THEY APPEAR TOO BUSY TO RESPOND TO NEW BUSINESS CALLS.
