Following the rain storms in September we contacted David from Champion. He came out right away looked at the damage to the roof and our unit. The roof was repaired that day. We have not had any issues so far. Champion allowed us to use the company of our choice to repair the damage to the condo unit. The damage ended up costing almost $800.00. I sent David an invoice for the price to repair the damage and in less than a week I had a check for the full amount. I appreciate Champion's quick response to the incident, and the fact that they repaired the problem right away. The company was polite and in no way tried to short change us. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs roof work.

Showed up on time. Worked quickly and cleaned up their mess. Kids napped through their hammering and nailing. The crew was good but a little tough to communicate with when the boss wasn't around.

I had to make a couple calls before I got them out to begin the project. I thought that they were neat and clean, they cleaned up fairly well. There is some residue from the old roof that was left behind in the attic. The new roof is working out okay so far.

I highly recommend Champion Roofing! They were able to do a complete tear-off of a four-layer roof, including the original 1984 wood shingles, and repaired some of the original decking that was damaged in a leak. They were incredibly fast - the entire project was done in three days and great about clean-up. Tarps were laid down on the ground and in the attic which caught the vast majority of the debris. The ground around our house was nearly spotless, and was well cleaned at the end of every day. What impressed me most was they handled a mistake they made. We elected to keep our original gutters, which were old but still serviceable. The cost of replacement was estimated at $1,750. Well, the crew mistakenly thought the gutters were to be removed permanently and had them hauled away as trash before I could notice. I called Champion to work something out. Within 30 minutes of leaving a message for the job manager, I got a call back - first words out of his mouth were "Looks like you're getting some free gutters." The new metal gutters were on the house the next week and are much better quality and condition than the old ones. I was very impressed how they dealt with an error and made it clear they would eat the cost and the inconvenience. I highly recommend Champions.

They were great. They returned phone calls on time. They showed up on time and finished the job on time as well.

It was overall a good experience and the price was good. They did a decent job. There were a few things not OK but when I called they came right away and took care of it. I was satisfied.

The experience was positive and professional from start to finish. The estimator came within a few days of the original call and the job was completed within two weeks. For the estimate and the installation, they were on time. The estimator also did a great job of explaining what work needed to be done and what didn't. They were here one day and did a terrific job of completely cleaning up after the work, in addition to protecting the many, many plants in my lovely garden throughout the process. In addition, their estimate (for the exact same materials and work) was more than $4000 dollars less than the other estimates we received. I have already put my brother (whose condo needs a new roof) in touch with this terrific company.

Very impressed with the Champion Roofing quote given in March and how they answered our questions. In April, we called them back to do the roof work in early May, 2008. The job was scheduled for three days. The crew came early the first day and began ripping off the two layers of old roofing on the house and later on the garage. The wood was good underneath so they were able to begin right away on the new roofing working until dark. On day two and three, they continued with the new shingles and a second crew began replacing the gutters with four inch gutters and spouts. The evening of the second day of the job, we noticed our front bay window metal roof, which we had just repainted and caulked last Fall, had been ripped off and replaced with a shingled roof. We notified the company immediately and we were told the estimator made the decision when the roofers inquired, without notifying us. We asked for the old metal roof back. They did come back the next week to fix their mistake, after failing to convince us to keep the shingles. They installed a new metal roof and then applied two coats of paint and caulk at no cost to us. Other than the three ridges on the new metal roof being too high, the metal roof looks good. We were also compensated for two shrubs damaged by the gutter crew. We had a punch list after we looked over all their work on the job site and they agreed to all our requests. They generously left extra shingles for us, in case we need them later for repairs. The new roof, gutters, and trim look great. Thank you, Champion Roofing!

I had a small problem getting an estimate. Otherwise they did a very good job. They got the job done quickly. They dropped off the wand for opening and closing the skylight a week later. I liked that they were able to figure out the problem.

They were very good. They got the work done quickly and it looks great. There were questions we had as they were going along, and there was no one there on the job that spoke English, so it made it difficult.

Champion declined to give an estimate.

I requested an estimate for roofing, gutters & downspouts, and a small amount of siding work. I received a proposal for the roofing and was told that the proposal for the gutters, downspouts and siding would be provided later. Despite several follow up calls on my part, Champion never provided a complete estimate for the work I wanted done and was eliminated from consideration.

They are very professional; they are very responsive. They have been very good to deal with, and they have a competitive price.

Their prices were very competitive and professional. They were efficient and the work is high quality. I was impressed and I would definitely recommend them.

They came out promptly and gave a written estimate and left samples to choose from. Their price was lower than others. They came out and installed the new roof professionally; also cleaned up all debris. We were quite happy with their work. This is a nice family owned business.

They were very responsive and helpful on getting me a quote and on doing the work. They fixed a few things on the roof. Hopefully it will solve the problems.

They were not the cheapest but they did a good job. They were very professional and got the job done quickly and on time.

They did the job and they had to put in aluminum up the chimney to seal it and make it waterproof. Unfortunately the first time they did it it didn't look good. I called them and they came back within a week and they fixed it up and redid the aluminum and now it looks really good.

It took over a week to get the estimate (came in the mail) and while that was not terrible (especially considering how busy they were following the big rains), it was slower than all the other estimates we received, which came within a day or 2. Also, the price was significantly higher than others. For example, $1,350 per skylight vs. $900 per skylight from a company that is an authorized installer for Velux. I would consider them for roofing projects in the future, but in this instance, we chose a different provider.

We had a really good experience with Champion. We obtained 3 estimates, one was $4-5000 higher. Another was lower but didn't include the tuckpointing, gutters, or provide proof of insurance. Champion had to tear off our entire roof because we already had too many layers of shingles. They also charge you about $3 per linear foot for any wood they may have to replace. We were concerned that this may be costly because you never know until you strip off the layers, how much this will be. Fortunately, only about 40 feet total throughout the entire house had to be replaced, $120. This showed me how honest Champion was in their pricing. They came in on time and were out early. We did have a glitch with their subcontractors on the tuckpointing who didn't show the day they were supposed to, but they came the next business day and all was resolved. Also, I felt their prep and clean up was really good (although we would have preferred one more round of magnetic clean up for the nails that in evitably fall from the roof to the ground. We wound up cleaning up some nails ourselves). We watched them get to work and it was business.

They were prompt to come out to give me an estimate to fix a leak around my fireplace. I'd had the chimney worked on numerous time and assumed it was the roof that needed fixing since we still had a leak. Champion came out and stated there was still crumbling mortar that needed to be repaired. They showed me where they thought the water was coming in.

Shane came by for an estimate for roof repairs, checked the roof and attic, and submitted an estimate. This company was professional and helpful, and was very attentive to our needs (we have an older house, 100+ years). We ended up going with another company who had a slightly lower bid, but I did seriously consider going with Champion Roofing despite their slightly higher cost. I would definitely work with this company again, and probably will.
