This was a large job to replace a poorly done 13yo roof, gutters, and extensively rotted soffits/fascia. Workers were prompt and kept us informed of their progress and plans. Roof was mostly completed in one day. Fascia/soffit covers were meticulously hand-cut and put in place over two weeks. Work quality was excellent. Issues were resolved promptly. Additional costs that were expected were laid out in advance with no surprises. Excellent price for the quality and amount of work completed. One-stop shopping for roofing, gutters, siding, and soffit/fascia.

Outstanding. The workers were polite and hardworking . The temp was over 90 the day they did our roof and I was amazed at how hard these guys worked. They cleaned up after themselves and left our property in great condition. All concerns were immediately addressed. Responsiveness was top notch from the quote process through follow up.

very good experience from start to finish. david friedman was our estimator and prime contact. he was very prompt in returning our initial call, then with doing the estimate, and later answering follow on questions. he was knowledgable, and tried to make sure the customer used money in the best way. we had several estimates and we chose them for being best overall for cost and good reputation shane was our job co-ordinator and he was good to work with. the crew came at 7am and worked very efficiently. during the day, both shane and david came to the door to see how we thought things were going, and if we had questions. this is a very professional touch in my opinion. good for heading off any misunderstandings. site protection was very good. it is a messy job, creating lots of debris, but the crew left our place in great shape. a few nails were in the driveway after the dumpster was removed, but this was minor. the roof looks very good, and has stood up to a couple of rains. we used an angies list coupon with absolutely no problem. they deserve their high rating in our opinion

Champion was very fast in providing follow-up to a request for an estimate - it was easy to schedule. David Friedman was very professional and prompt - providing an estimate within 24 hours via email after coming out and inspecting roof. A follow-up package was mailed and received just a few days later with additional company and product info, which was very helpful. He called a few days later to see if I had any outstanding questions. When I did have a chance to review all the information and had some questions, he was very quick with a response.

Received a low quote, guys came in got the job done in a day. Quality seems pretty good so far. Communication wasn't the best but they got the job done. Would recommend to others.

Crew arrived promptly at 7AM as advertised, tarped entire yard and flower bed; not a single flower was damaged in two 12-hour workdays. Crew did thorough clean-up each day and did quality work. Company was responsive to calls and questions. Very satisfied with the work and as satisfied as one can be with the price.

Estimator Shane was knowledgeable with all questions and requests and punctual with all visits. Crew arrived when scheduled; crew was courteous and tidy. Cleanup was thorough on the driveway but could have been better on the yard (lots of nails, asphalt shingle bits, aluminum bits).

Shane inspected our roof and did not agree that most of our roof needed to be replaced (in contrast to the first company). He spent a considerable time trying to figure out the origination of any water leak and ultimately found two potential small spots. We received his estimate later that same day. The estimate seemed very reasonable, but ultimately we decided to wait for the next rain in order to determine if the roof is actually leaking or if there is an internal problem instead.

I submitted an email request for an estimate on Sunday and was called first thing Monday morning. David came out to my house Monday afternoon to look at the roof. I told him that I needed it replaced as soon as possible as we're putting the house on the market. He said he'd send me the estimate within 24-48 hours but ended up sending it in 12. They came out Wednesday and finished the job in 1 day. They only had to return the next day to finish up a small amount of flashing on the porch roof. They were quick, very professional, courteous and cleaned up the place so that it looked like it did before they started. And the cost came in less than any other quote I received. The house looks fantastic!

Our condo association decided that, after about 18 months and several thousand dollars in useless repair efforts, it was time to replace our flat roof. David Friedman arrived when he said he would and was very responsive to questions throughout our decision process. Champion uses a different roofing material than most of the other roofers around Chicago, who use a modified bitumen membrane. The material, called Duro-Last, comes with a very impressive, 15-year warranty and little maintenance required. Because David's claims were so impressive, I called Duro-Last to verify the warranty. I also tried to get names of other local roofers that use it in order to price compare. While I never heard from the regional sales rep that was supposed to provide me with other names, the person I spoke with at Duro-Last did know Champion and told me that Champion had completed Duro-Last's "master installer" educational program. Our association is on a tight budget, so we were not able to pay-up for the Duro-Last from Champion, which cost about $7,000 more than the contractor we selected (who did use bitumen). However, if money was no object, I would recommend taking a hard look at Duro-Last.

They did excellent work. They were prompt, worked diligently on the project, and cleaned up everything when they were done. This company was very honest - telling me that I did not need to spend as much or do everything that had been suggested by other companies.

My experience was generally good except for some carpentry issues with installing one of the skylights. I would hire them again.

I found them excellent. They were highly professional. They always returned phone calls and always explained exactly what they were doing.

I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. David Friedman showed up promptly on the day he came to evaluate the situation. He explained what needed to be done in a manner I could understand. I had the proposal the next day. Unbelievably, among the 3 proposals I received, Champion came in at the lowest price. But we didn't choose them merely on the price alone. They seemed responsive, professional, and their references were excellent. I had a high comfort level with them. They did an excellent job on the roof. They were finished in 1.5 days and did an excellent job cleaning up. I have absolutely no complaints and would use them again in a heartbeat. In fact, my garage needs a new roof and I'll probably use Champion to do that job too.

They had good responsiveness, good professionalism and did nice work. We have used them on several occasions. Their price depends on the kind of job they do so I am not sure about their prices. I would definitely use them in future.

Our condominium building had water infiltrating one side. We contacted Champion and our roofing estimator/project manager came over quickly and brought his masonry expert to be thorough. They were polite and informative. The quotation arrived within a few days, and they were willing to work with our building's Association on a modified payment schedule, so the work was contracted. The weather was not cooperating for getting us onto the schedule for Champion. We submitted our deposit then waited for over a month. During this time, we heard nothing from Champion about expectations of a start date. I finally called and was told by their scheduler that as soon as we had three days predicted without rain, we would move forward with the project. This, I found, was very true. The weather hit a patch of clear, and within 48 hours we had two work crews all over our building. The project took three days and overall, the work went very well. On the last day, the newly tuckpointed walls were to be sealed and the work was at best, sloppy. I don't mind if the sealer was dripped on the roof or even on the ground below, but the sealer was slopped all over two of the unit's decks and even ended up on one of their grills. It was an unfortunate situation, but one that will not prevent me from hiring Champion in the future (with more specific instruction about tarping if they are doing sealing).

Everything with them was good. They did really clean work. They were really punctual and everything was to cost. The pricing was really good. The one place that I am going to ding them is that they are a cash only facility. I think that in this day and age not a lot of people have eighteen hundred dollars lying around. There was no big deal, which is always good with home improvement. I thought that everything was great. Outside of the payment they were top notch all the way through.

Steven and his team were professional, punctual, and competent. I would not hesitate to recommend Champion Roofing.

The workers who did this job were excellent but the estimator was not--he added a clause that there were no guarantees on repair work. I believe that everyone should warrant their work, Also they required a 50% deposit which I beleive is too high. .

The workmanship was excellent. The workers that were here seemed very knowledgeable. The person that did the estimate never remembered what he said the previous conversation. He seemed to imply I was lying when I would repeat something he told me, he said he didn?t want to get into a ?he said she said?. This kept happening. I would hire them again, but would ask for a different estimator.

They came out when they said. They did a good job and they cleaned up when they were finished. They were not the cheapest. It was a medium bid. There were no issues and we had no problems.

They were very professional and I was impressed with them.

Our roofs were almost 20 years old and in precarious condition. We got four bids.Two were from Angie's List and two were local to our area. The highest bid was twice as high as Champion's, but Champion had the best ratings. David, the manager, was wonderful to work with. He was always available and he, quickly and patiently, answered our questions and solved our problems. It's rather difficult to satisfy eight individual owners, but David was up to the job. The job went smoothly and everyone was very happy with the results.

Very well. Except for the very end, the Angie's List coupon was not reflected in the final bill that arrived, but that was rectified.
