Black Pearl Sealcoating

We had a brand new driveway that had been seal coated one other time. We paid Black Pearl to seal coat the driveway in August. It rained less than 24 hours after seal coating and the temperatures dropped. When I reached out about how this might effect our job.....crickets. Complete silence. We didn't have a single crack in our driveway prior to this job. This company has lousy customer service and has proven to not give a crap about their work. I thought the owner/salesperson was coming back out to take a look at our driveway and instead sent his crew out to draw a few squiggly lines on the driveway which now looks like a patch job. I would absolutely not work with or recommend this company in the future. We had used them a few years prior to having a new driveway. But in my opinion my new sealcoating job is s***. They do not stand behind their work or product.

Black Pearl responded to my earlier email asking for estimates. Once approved, we settled on a date and time for the work that needed to be done - re-sealing my driveway and repairing small cracks. They did the work promptly and were on time - work was done with care and professionalism. I am very happy with the work they did and would hire them again.

Ive used them for sealcoating & really happy with the quality & price. They also do asphalt repair & the quote is under other local company that calls itself a 'value' oriented company- so dont be fooled by nanes & claims.

I liked them. I will get them again next year. They were neat, thorough, and worked well with me. They were very professional. Everything looks good so far

It was probably the worst job I've ever had done. He was supposed to fill my holes with a hard rubber filling that suppose to dry in hours Well after 3 months it is still not dry, every time it gets hot this tar melts and if you step on it you get it on your shoes, if you drive over it it sticks to your tires, I was getting tar all over my new deck my house. I asked for my money back, but of course never heard back.

The workers were very courteous, very neat, and my driveway looks like it's new...still...2 months after I had it done. It's good to feel that I got my moneys worth and then some for a change.

Very smooth and pleasant transaction. Called for a quote, they stopped by within a day or two and left a postcard with a quote, and then when I called I was able to schedule them to stop by shortly after (a few days later). They were on-time and took care of cleaning off the driveway/etc. I definitely recommend using them and I will use them again in the future. Very professional.

Everything went great. I will use in the future! I was in communication with Mike the whole time and he was very responsive about my initial quote request, scheduling the seal coating, and schedule confirmation either via phone call / voice mail as well as email. They even managed to check and leave me a quote same day. The coating quality looks great and the driveway looks like new. This is likely the first time this newer driveway has been resealed. There was also a bit of oil staining and dirt at which they prepped / pre-treated. Since I was not there around at the time of the work, the driveway was properly taped off and instructions left behind regarding drying time.

Very attentive. Great communication w the scheduler. Status calls were timely on appointment date dependent on the weather. Reminder calls at optimum times prior to service. Friendly and VERY PROFESSIONAL attitude by the people doing the job. Very carefully done, quick and at a very competitive price. Im very impressed with this company and havent used them before but only called after receiving a postcard in the mail. For someone like myself who would rather save a few bucks by doing it myself- ive found that this company will do the work for only a few dollars more than my cost of materials at a wholesale level and probably less expensively than the retail cost of materials.

Working with Black Pearl Sealcoating was really easy. I worked with Mike and he was very professional and responsive. He was detailed with the estimate and made sure all of the work was included in the pricing. I don't like surprises so that was a plus. He then confirmed the seal coating date and the guys who did the work were right on time. I showed them what needed to be done and it was done nice and neat. They then came back on a Sunday to stripe the parking spaces. The entire process was smooth and I will certainly use Black Pearl in the future. Thanks
