This was the first time I ever hired professional movers and I have to say it was worth an experience. The sales rep was such a great help with this whole process. My previous experience was quite traumatic but that's what I get for not hiring the pros. I contacted Advanced Moving and Storage and they gave me the rates, which are very reasonable. On the move day, the moving team arrived on time and were professional, polite and overall had very pleasant and friendly personalities. It was a stress free move thanks to this amazing moving company. I will definitely recommend them to all.

Moving with Advanced Moving and Storage was easy and nice and that is exactly what I was expecting from hired help. We all want the best service done when you actually have to pay. Unlike other moving companies, this company made no mistakes. Efficiently and carefully moved me within the allotted time and did not break a thing! The price was affordable and the customer service was very helpful. All in all, this move was smooth and easy.

I have to say this is one of the best moving companies out there. Advanced Moving and Storage is truly top-of-the-line. No one can really beat it. It all worked out smoothly and there was no complications throughout the move.The process were just easy, efficient and smooth. It was absolutely one of the best experiences that I've had moving. I was so impressed with the movers from Advanced Moving and Storage who performed my family's move recently. The moving team was professional and worked like a well-oiled machine. They speedily yet carefully packed our things and wrapped our furniture. I was surprised how at ease I felt during the move, I really felt that my belongings were in good hands, all at a fair price. I recommend this efficient company to anyone who cares about their belongings and wants great professional service.

This is really a very good company. Their movers are highly trained and very committed too. I have recently experienced their service, which was worth every single penny that I paid. They accomplished the job that I assigned them. They also have a very good and capable sales team. All I want to say is that Advanced Moving and Storage had done an excellent job to move my two bed room apartment. I will look forward to use them again.

I was really happy with the way Advanced Moving and Storage managed my entire move all the way from IL to KY. The decision of using this company paid off nicely. They arrived on time at the moving day, nicely dealt with the fragile items and old furniture during the packing, loading and unloading. The movers completed the move before the allotted time and made sure we do not have to witness anything broken or damaged. In short, everything worked out perfectly for us and that did not cost us a lot.

I had to move my two bedroom apartment. So, I called several moving companies for the quote. It was clear from the quote given by Advanced Moving and Storage that they asked for a reasonable price. They actually performed a lot better than what I was looking for. The moving team arrived on time, did the wrapping perfectly and moved my goods quickly to the new destination and made sure that nothing gets damaged. I am really happy with their world class service and very affordable price.

It usually takes time to find the perfect Moving place, because you always want the best, well, my friend had recommended Advanced Moving and Storage. I usually do not take into consideration, but when I looked at the reviews, it just caught my eye, there was so much positivist. Their service is amazing. I had to make a few phone calls for a few questions I had and they answered them without hesitation and they were really helpful, kind, and surprisingly happy about helping me out. Their services are really affordable.

The movers from Advanced Moving and Storage were lightning fast, highly skilled, experienced and willing to deliver the best service I could ever hope for. The guys were helpful, responsive, attentive, accommodating and very innovative. I was delighted to receive all my belongings in great condition. To be honest, I can only compliment this company from start to finish. Much kudos to the movers for the great work. Highly recommended moving company.

The best service in the country, without discussion. When I was trying to move, I didn’t find any company in the market that could offer me a good service according to my budget. The truth is that moving prices are quite high, especially when you need to move from one state to another. However, Advanced Moving and Storage was my salvation. The service they provided me is unparalleled. They told me that in a couple of days my stuff would be on time in my new apartment and that's what happened. They kept their promise. Highly recommended.

Advanced Moving and Storage was easily accessible during entire process via email or phone. Their manager thoroughly explained how the moving would go and gave me the estimate based the information I gave. The movers were on time and got to work quickly. The movers were great at the packing service making sure that all the boxes were marked and easily found upon arrival. Everything arrived in the same condition as it left. I had a really move with this moving service.

This company is one to be very suspicious of as they have several reviews, and my own experience, of utterly unscrupulous behavior. That they are allowed to be in business is concerning. Long story short, they broke/damaged MANY of our things, including a mirrored closet door, lamps, dresser, dishes, etc. Items like drills went missing altogether tho we watched them being packed. They denied most claims stating they weren't responsible. They charged us over 1000 more than the estimate in unfounded labor and supply charges and refused to return our things, threatening to drive off unless we paid those added charges. After i submitted a claim, they offered me a whopping 60 for the 500 worth the damaged and missing items and a zero refund on overcharged labor and supplies. I should also say, they PACKED the items. Heavy items on top of fragile, and claimed no responsibility. Additionally, the owner altered the Bill's of Lading, hanging the amounts and hours AFTER I initialed already. After much back and forth for months, I realized the owner was never going to pay what was just, so I took them to Small Claims court. Our case was in June, and I WON. When I emailed about paying me the amount the court awarded, the response was to cease and desist (ummm, no, I don't have to) and to say nobody from the company will respond to my calls or emails. It appears I have to go back to court to collect. All they've responded with is that "an attorney will contact me", but won't provide a name or number, and there is no attorney on record in this case. The other thing I believe people should be made aware of is that the owner seems a bit unstable. I found this to be the case after our first court hearing, when upon leaving the courtroom, he screamed at me in the court hallways causing a sherriff to escort me to my car. Similar to a child who can't get his way, he goes from being calm to losing it should you disagree with him. He has said I wanted the move for free (I didn't), has inferred I am extortionist demanding a ransom, and threatened to report me to the police. I said to go ahead, I would be at the door expecting them, because I KNEW it was just another threatening tactic. I did NOTHING wrong. On another sites review I posted, the owner responded that he regrets doing business with me. Of course he does. I refused to let this company take advantage, I followed through on the tedious process of suing them as I told him I would, and most importantly, I WON my case. I am the one filled with regret for trusting this was a professional company, that they held our items hostage demanding more money and threatening to drive off with our items if we didn't pay, charging us for supplies never used & damaging our things to top it off. I also regret their refusal to pay the judgement, instead claiming they will appeal and get a new trial, because it just means back to court we go and a lengthier process. I have no doubt this outfit regrets that while I was prepared, they were not, bringing 1 witness to say a confirmation letter with added charges was sent to me, totally untrue by the way, which is why they could not produce it in court. Instead of providing any kind of letter, they claimed it wasn't on the server anymore because they have delete docs for space reasons. I believe that was the moment the Judge knew they were not credible. They have nothing more than excuse after excuse. I was prepared for court, armed with proof of every discrepancy, emails, contracts and quotes to prove my case. It is WHY I WON. I had the truth on my side and proof to back it up. So, I guess I'll see em back in court soon. They could just send me what they owe, but they won't because in my opinion the owner has no ethics, morals or business acumen whatsoever. In my personal opinion, this company is incredibly unprofessional. It's been my experience the owner thinks he can do whatever and charge whatever he wants, and will most likely try to do so as he did with me. Hiring them was the worst decision I ever made, and again based on my personal experience, you will likely end up paying far more than what was quoted as I did. Save yourself the headache that I've endured for a year before going to court. Read ALL the reviews, there are many just like mine, and you will see the pattern. You'll be better off going with a well known, trustworthy company that cares about their reputation. Angies list once rated Advanced Moving one of Chicago's worst. Let me first say that Advanced Moving and Storage is not the worst moving company but is a very close runner-up. THE GOOD: - arrived on the date that we agreed to move out of my apartment - nothing was lost - most of my stuff was undamaged - delivered my stuff in their own truck - delivery driver James was great - delivered within the delivery window agreed upon (13 days) - price was reasonable (you get what you pay for) THE BAD: - packing team was late by 4 hours. - packing team of only 3 men which should have been 4 for the amount of stuff I have. - one of the packers smelled like very strong alcohol. - packing list was not accurate or very descriptive - many items were not inventoried (I created my own inventory and marked boxes myself) - they took my wife's clothes after we asked them not to several times. was not able to get them back because they would not let us into warehouse where my stuff was stored. the owner had no compassion that my wife had nothing to wear. - did not allow us to see the weighing of the truck or provide a weight receipt. - was charged for full estimated cost because they lied about weight of shipment. - the delivery team consisted of the driver and 2 hired help from Labor Ready (not professional movers) - one of the hired help was a woman with flip flops on. (nothing against women but she was not prepared to perform move) - would not unload the truck until I signed a waiver that they will not be responsible for damage to the house. - damaged many pieces of furniture due to improperly packing and handling. - 2 table casters broken from coffee table - mattresses where shrink wrapped instead of bagged like I was told. mattresses are dirt stained where shrink wrap was torn - IKEA book shelf and tv stand where severely scratched because not properly wrapped - brand new bedroom set was scratched and dented - leg broken on my daughter's princess dresser. - company is unresponsive. they will tell you they will call back but never will. you have to keep calling them. Advanced is very unprofessional. The estimator Tyler is the only professional person at this company but that is were the professionalism end. The owner seems like he does not even care about his customers and will lie to you in a second. Many things were damaged but its not worth filing a claim because they will probably never pay or admit responsibility. Even though I purchased the full value replacement protection. If you roll the dice and use this company like I did, make sure you pack and inventory everything yourself. Use heavy duty boxes and lots of packing tape. Shrink wrap your own stuff and purchase mattress bags. Get a not-to-exceed estimate and expect to pay the full cost. I was told that the foreman would stay with the shipment and would be there for the delivery but lied to. The delivery driver James was great but was put in a bad situation when they hired unskilled movers at the delivery. He made the best of the situation and worked extra hard to get our stuff in the house without causing any more damage. All of the damaged was caused in the packing process or when they moved my stuff from truck - to storage - to truck. I do not recommend this company.

Schedule was for arrival between 9-10 am. Due to a flat tire on the movers truck actual arrival was more around 11:30 am which I was made aware of the morning of the move. After arriving movers did a fine job of wrapping all furniture in blankets which lead to a smooth transfer to our new home some 10 miles away. The two gentlemen were very accomodating and professional in making sure all was handled to our satisfaction.

I contacted Spaulding and requested a quote for moving several large and heavy pieces of furniture. They provided an immediate quote and when I requested that they move the items the same day they quickly assembled a crew and were at my house within the hour. They were professional in their workmanship and quickly wrapped and loaded my items. They arrived at the destination and quickly unloaded the truck, being extremely careful with each piece and even removing their shoes before entering the carpeted area.
