Wooden-It-Be-Nice

Antique pedestal table required 4 legs to be re-attached to the original wood base. The original legs and support structure were provided. Making the base level and solid enough to support the table again was required. The base was glued, leveled and sanded. This job took two weeks. I was extremely happy with the result!

Showed up late for scheduled appointment to provide estimate. Was very cocky, almost argumentative with customer, and seemed irritated by size of the job. Refused to provide quote based on work customer wanted done. Told customer he was the expert, and what she was asking for, was unnecessary. Also stated if cabinets didn't look good when he was finished, that wasn't his problem because he didn't cause the years of imperfections. After walking the house, and adding number of cabinets that needed to be done, stated "I don't think I want this job", and walked out. Very unprofessional, would never recommend doing business with this individual.

It came out beautiful, finished the job faster than promised. He did such a good job I brought him another chair to do. Kris is a craftsman who loves what he does. He took us on a tour of his shop that he is very proud of. We enjoyed visiting him and will return with future projects.

He was on time to give an estimate and to deliver them. He did a careful job removing the legs from both and even brought the oak table back with a new part to the foot that had been chipped and lost. Both tables looked like brand new. The pecan dining room table really showed the original color and grain. I am SO glad I did this. I would definitely use these men again!

The provider was helpful in planning the custom cover from my cooktop, then did a beautiful job making it. All for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend his work.

This shop was great, he took one look at my chairs and knew exactly what I wanted, he even took the time to talk about these two period pieces (Mid Century). When we returned approx 3 wks later, the chairs looked beautiful and were showroom quality. I would definetly use this shop again and would recommend others.

The results look great. they pulled all the doors and drawers ( @ 30 doors And drawers) and took them back to their shop for refinishing. They masked off all the walls and appliances did the wood faces over a few days. They reinstalled the doors and drawers with new pulls that we provided. The results look better than the original finish. These cabinets were 25 yrs old but are solid oak fronts. We left a key for the owner and we felt comfortable doing so. We have a large dog and they were keen to get to know her when they first got there. All in all we are pleased with the results.

All communications were returned promptly, work was completed in a timely manner, and the cost was given prior to taking the items into the shop. We were thrilled with the beauty of the items after refinishing. Both items have been in the family for generations and never looked better.

Kris Bryan came out to see our mantel project and gave us an estimate to stain and seal it. He loaded the mantel in his truck and took it to his shop in Belvidere. He custom mixed a color for us and we chose that one. The mantel was completed in a timely manner and looks fantastic. We have used him for other projects, as well.

It looks absolutely gorgeous. They added a better back to the headboard and finished the inside of the drawers. They were by far the least expensive, the work was great, and the price included the delivery back to Milwaukee, and they could have picked it up too.
