About us

Kelly and Michelle Langel, owners of The Spa Shop, started their business servicing spas and hot tubs in 1994. Their repair based business spanned across northern Illinois, helping customers from the Iowa border to downtown Chicago. After 10 years and numerous customer requests, a retail location was opened in 2004. The Spa Shop carries a wide variety of hot tub components including jets, pillows, filters, covers, and chemicals. Only the highest quality and locally built tubs are sold and displayed in the showroom. They have since expanded to offer swimming pool accessories, covers, and chemicals as well. Customer service is an integral factor in how the Langels run their business. When the technicians at The Spa Shop go out to perform spa or pool service, they do more than just install parts and leave. The knowledgeable staff will take the time to make sure their work is exceptional, as well as answer any questions you may have. The same can be expected for the services offered in-store. The highly trained sales staff will walk you through any issues you may be experiencing with your pool or spa and advise you on how to make your water safe and enjoyable for use.
