John O'Haire is a delightful and jovial person who loves his work and does it to perfection. The walls he replastered or skim-coated were so smooth my friends thought they had already been painted. He uses only the best material. You can be assured of punctuality and high-quality work. He is very clean, protecting your banister and trim and leaving the place spotless. He is generous: he even did a part in a staircase that was not in the contract, in order not to waste the plaster he had mixed. I would rehire him in a heartbeat.
Description of Work: Plaster repairs due to water damage in two room ceilings (total of approx. 10 square feet). Replaster entrance and foyer (3 coats plasterwork)

I was very impressed with his work. The quality of his workmanship was top notch. If theres anyone who knows plaster its John O'Haire. He brought the house back to the classic look. You wont be disappointed if you hire him. You would never know that there were cracks in the wall. His estimates were very reasonable.
Description of Work: My walls were starting to crack and fall apart.

We triple bid all work. When Mr. O'Haire came, he convinced me to wait until every last hole was made before hiring a plaster person. Another company suggested that they come back each time a new batch of holes were made. His advice saved us money. He came when he said, did a beautiful job plastering, and even caught mistakes and shortcuts made by workers who did some of the other jobs in our home. His knowledge and honesty saved us more than $1,000. He is a great artist and craftsman. He has the staff to assist with the bigger jobs, which they did at the beginning. All the work was completed in a timely fashion.
Description of Work: We purchased a 100+ year old house needing all new electric, central air and insulation. Many large holes were made in our house over the past three months to complete the work. We heard about Mr. O'Haire from a friend who is in the decorating business (she used him for her home). The job included huge holes in the living room, entry hall, hall closet, powder room, four bedrooms, three bedroom closets. He also built a soffit, plastered most of a sunroom ceiling and a hall closet ceiling. There were holes, big and small ones, everywhere.
