Description of Work: I received an email reply from American requesting a water softener estimate within 48 hours. Within a week of my initial contact I had follow-up emails and a an in-home estimate. The representative was knowledgeable and informative. The quote was reasonable and appropriate for my needs--no upsale. The installation was completed today, again expertly and an even better product than I had expected. I give them an A+ on all counts!

 + -1 moreThe technician was very punctual and was able to come only a day after my initial call. He listened to my description of the problem and went right to work. After 5 minutes, he knew what the problem was and, after another 10, there was no more problem. He was very knowledgeable and patient in answering my questions. He made additional recommendations regarding my rusty water, but didn't pressure my to buy anything. I felt very comfortable having him in my house and will definitely call again if I need further water treatment.
Description of Work: A technician came to inspect my water softener because it wasn't working properly. He inspected the unit and concluded it was simply plugged with sediment, which he cleaned out right away.

 + -1 moreCindy was professional,but also friendly. Her presentation was not just her talking, she had a lot of literature for us to look through. Financing was offered, which is nice for those on a budget. Installers were very neat, no mess was left behind. They even filled up the softener with salt!
Description of Work: We needed a new water softener. Cindy came to our house; before she talked sales, she tested our water to find out what product would best fit our needs. She was very educated on her company's products and knew a lot about the problems with Rockford area water. With our purchase received this awesome soap package for the household (shampoo, hand soap, laundry detergent, dish soap and household cleaners). You get to customize scents and the soap works great!
