 + -1 moreScott came to look at the fireplace. He explained what needed to be done. Then never heard from him. When I called his cell to ask about the quote he literally YELLED AT ME accusing me of trying to sell him insurance. Never heard from him again.

Description of Work: Very professional and thorough job done. He was on time, swept the chimney, replaced cap, and did a thorough inspection. He ended up having to do a couple of extra little rings to really get the chimney completely cleaned, but didn't charge any more than the quoted price. We will definitely have him back!

Description of Work: They cleaned my chimney and inspected the fireplace. He made several recommendations and let me know that part of the fireplace was broken. He also told me not to burn duraflame logs as they burn too hot and damage fireplaces. When it came time to settle the bill, there was no paperwork. No bill, no fliers, nothing to prove to me that he was a legitimate business. When I asked him for my receipt he told me he would mail it. A week later I called to again ask for my receipt and he said he need my address and would send it right out. This makes me leery when a company does work for you and does not even have any paperwork to prove who they are or a bill of sale ready.

 + -1 moreMoved back to this house after leasing it for four years. Now winter is here I want to take advantage of the wood burning fireplace. I had used this service before when I purchased the house in 91- won the service at a silent auction item. He did a good job at that time so I called again. I was surprised that he is charging the same amount for cleaning as he did in 2001. He came out to do the work on the same day I made the appointment. We have had some bats coming in and we weren't sure where they were coming from. He assessed our situation and it appears a new cap and flashing repair was required and will fix the bat issue. He was courteous and quick. He assessed that there was some repair required and said he would be back the same week to complete the work.
Description of Work: Swept and Inspected Chimney. Discovered the need for a new cap and flashing repair.
