They were polite and everything. They installed a window incorrectly which didn't really bother me, it it was wrong. I might use them again.

First let me say that Dan Hegarty was one of the most pleasant, polite and professional people to work with. He patiently answered all of my questions, excellent follow-up to my calls, a very customer service focused individual. Installation was completed when promised, area left clean and neat by professional installers. My husband was impressed with their work! If I need any additional exterior work done, i.e. windows, etc, I will call Mr. Hegarty!

They gave me an appointment right away. I liked that they showed up right on time and that their work was excellent and done in a professional way. Their price was good. They are reliable and trustworthy and I would recommend them.

I was still under the assumption that Windows, Doors and More had to work the details out with the city and that in the spring they would be able to work on the roof, after all, the contract was still binding. I just received a check today for the down payment I gave them SIX months ago, leading me to believe that they will not work on my roof. I had not received any calls from them telling me this would happen. I did not intend to wait 6 months for them to break the contract. Throughout this whole process I had called WD&M at least 50 times and had never received a call from them when promised. I am extremely disappointed in what they call service, to drag me around for six months and non-gallantly break, not only their word, but their signed contract.

I decided to go with them and they are to come out and installed the door sooner.

It was actually quite wonderful. They did it all in one day! Initially, the man who came out for the estimate was great. Then there was a lag to get a time set up for the next stages. Once that was surmounted, then everything that followed was smooth and quick and expert! The salesman Mike, and the installer Roger were completely excellent and a joy to work with.

The work performed was done very well, the workmen were very good as well. However, we have had paint peeling problems with the steel door since they installed it on 8/8/05. We have already gone thru their service process of taking the door and giving us a temporary door, which is a ugly metal slab that is totally beaten up with dings and no window. It took one month (8/18/05-9/13/05) to get the door back from being repaired for the peeling paint around the window. Once, we got our door back on 9/13/05, we had the same exact problem again with the paint peeling around the window frame. When we called them again on 10/05/05, they never got back to us. Finally, after waiting thru the winter to see how the weather would affect it more, I called them again on 2/14/06 and they referred me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer rep was rude to me on the phone and has never gotten back to me with a solution. So, we are now stuck with a brand new $1100.00 door that looks really bad.

IT WAS A VERY DIFFICULT JOB, BECAUSE THE DOOR HAD TO GO OVER THE EXISTING BASEBOARD HEAT, AND UNDER THE STEEL SUPPORT BEAM. I COULDN'T FIND ANY OTHER COMPANY WHO WOULD CONSIDER DOING THE JOB. THIS COMPANY ADMITTED THEY HAD ONLY ONE MAN WHO COULD POSSIBLY DO THE JOB. THEY SENT HIM, AND THE WORK WAS BEAUTIFULLY DONE, WHEN PROMISED, AND HE CLEANED UP WHEN HE WAS FINISHED.

SALESMAN IN THE SHOWROOM NOT VERY PERSONABLE. INSTALLER DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND CLEANED UP WELL AFTERWARDS.
