I had 2 Mies van der Rhoe ottomans in need of reupholstering. Montalbano Inc. recovered the cushions and polished the chrome. Both ottomans look brand new. They did a great job.

The gentleman was very nice, very friendly and did an excellent job.

This is the 2nd time I used Montalbano. The owner is wonderful and takes great care of the furniture. Each time the furniture was done on time and looked beautiful.

Wonderfully. I could tell Mr. Montalbano loved his work when I dropped off my hopechest - I knew he would take good care of this item that was my mothers- and over 65 years old. He refinished the hope chest in 4 weeks and it looks fantastic. I have a bedroom dresser I will bring to Mr. M. next.

The work was fantastic and I cannot recommend Montalbano enough. It is always a leap of faith entrusting something that is important enough to be refinished or repaired, but you can't go wrong here. I had a large dining room table that needed refinishing, repairs to the legs, and staining to match dining room chairs. You can see the impeccable work from the before and after shots below (you can also see the reupholstered chairs as well). Also, they took our loveseat, which was held together by bungee cords, and made it solid and beautiful again. Pricing was competitive and the work was second to none. Also, the fact that they are super-nice people doesn't hurt either.

The table and chairs are absolutely beautiful! Montalbano did a great job. They got them back to me way ahead of schedule. The delivery and pick up guys were great, timely, and efficient.

It was a draft leaf table, they cut through one of the paddle. I notice it a year later, I was shock it can't paste the back together, really an American made in Vermont, they ruin the table substandard service, the table was ruined. Highly unethical business. Workmen sawed through the top of my drop-leaf table. Never owned up to their "mistake." Instead, tried to hide it. Covered up the damage so well I didn't discover it until a year later. I was heart-sick. .

The replacement cane seat on the rocker was a different color than the back of the rocker, so it looks off but the rocker is 50 years old and it may not have beeb possible to match the colors. There is also a small chip in the cane seat already and no one has sat on the rocker yet. The two wooden boxes were 80 years old or so and the lids were detached. The bigger box was reclued and a latch was added to prevent the lid from falling off again.It looks like the glue that was used and the clamp have taken the color out of the wood and it is very apparant. I am really disappointed as this company has an excellent reputation and the revews were very positive. The boxes were handmade pieces by my Grandfather, very happy to have them back in "working condition" but disappointed in the craftmanship. My husband felt the cost was "pricey" but the pieces were repaired as we asked. The turnaround time was very quick, much faster than expected.My husband picked up these pieces for me, if I had been there I would have said something. Also, you pay in advance so no need to complain if you aren't happy. I won't be doing that again.

Excellent results structural damage was completed without additional cost

Excellent experience. They arrived on time, picked our table and finished the job within 2 weeks as promised. Table looks brand new. Definitely would hire again

The work was well done, reasonably priced and completed quickly. He even did a little clean up of the wood. I highly recommend Montalbanos!

I am so happy and pleased with the restoration work done by Montalbano Majestic International. Rich was easy to work with, gave excellent suggestions, and all the work was done in a timely manner. The table sustained considerable water damage and they were able to make the table "better than when it was new". The prices were very reasonable and I will definitely use them for future projects.

If I could rate this business higher than 5 stars I Would! I had an Oak kitchen table and 6 chairs refinished. Returned to me looking like it was on a showroom floor. Hasn't looked this good since we bought it over 20 years ago. Amazing customer service! Pick up and delivery service was perfect and the delivery men were prompt, respectful of my home and set up the table without any issues. Richard was so helpful and answered my many questions graciously and thoroughly. I also received a quote that was much lower than the recommended refinishing companies in my immediate area. Highly recommend and will be using them for other projects in the future. I wish more businesses were operated with such professionalism.

We have used Montalbano in the past for a chair caning task, and they do great work. Unfortunately, with this project, it was awarded to another Angie List company because they were more cost competitive. We will consider Montalbano in the future.

I hired the team from Montalbano to re-finish a 40 year old bedroom set of my Grandparents, and I explained how important the furniture was to me. Richard Montalbano promised me that they would take good care of the pieces and that I'd love the finished product. When the completed furniture was delivered, I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked, Richard fulfilled his promise and exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend Montalbano Inc. for any of your furniture needs!

Job was not done. It was cheaper to purchase a new table.

The chair was taken down to the frame and was rebuilt with new supports, padding, and covering. The wooden rails and supports were also refinished. The workmanship was incredible and very professional. The chair look beautiful and should last for many more years. I would definitely use them again.
