They are reliable. It is a good company. We have a particular service man who takes care of us. I would continue to use them.

Everything went well from start to finish. I contacted their helpful receptionist who was able to set up an appointment right away. We received a courtesy reminder call prior to the appointment. The service man arrived on time. He was professional, helpful, and knowledgeable. He assessed a line that was leaking air and water, repaired it on the spot. He assessed the overall condition of our a/c unit, cleaned it, and added frion.

I left an e-mail request on the Sigman website. I was called first thing the next morning and had a technician to my house by that afternoon. It would have been earlier if not for my work schedule. The technician began troubleshooting the system before he had even arrived and was able to diagnose and fix the problem within and hour and a half and was also able to answer other questions I had while he was here.

It was a great experience. Salesman was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and not pushy. He gave me several options. The two installers arrived on time. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and offered helpful suggestions. I asked them to cap off three vents into the garage and they did it for free. I told the salesman I was thinking about putting my old a/c unit in another house about 15 miles away, and he drove to the other house did some measurements and gave me his recommendation--all for free. I couldn't be happier with my new heat pump and the experience!

Terrible. How can a company 1) simply not show up, and 2) not call a client to tell them they aren't showing up, or 3) to apologize, or 4) to return a call back that was promised? I'm honestly in shock at such horrendous service. I chose this company based on the great reviews on Angie's List, and my goodness, did I have exactly the opposite experience. I am exceedingly disappointed and I hope my review here will keep other customers from wasting their time as I did with Sigman. How a company that treats new customers like this stays in business is beyond me.

The repairman was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me suggestions to improve my use of my heating/cooling system. He was very friendly and arrived at the scheduled appointment. He resolved the issue without any issues. I would definitely call this company again for service.of the system

A cracked heat exchanger in our 21 year old system led to replacement of both units. Sigman's bid was acceptable and their work seemingly was first rate. Their crew showed up exactly on time promised and completed the entire project in one day. They were extremely professional, courteous and easy to work with. They protected floors and cleaned up completely. Time will tell regarding the quality of the product (Lennox).

Friday evening of a weather week that was in between St. Louis heat waves but temperatures predicted to return to the nineties, the house starts feeling a bit warmer than usual for 5 p.m. I take a look at the thermostat and observe that the temperature is a good 5 degrees over the set point and climbing. After checking the outside condenser unit and the thermostat, the problem was narrowed down to the blower unit not operating at all. We called Sigman due to the high rating on Angie's list and our poor experiences with other local A/C service companies. Not wanting to stew in our own juices over the weekend, we put in a call for after hours service. It took a good 45 minutes for our call to be returned, which I thought was a bit long. However, the service technician explained the after hours rate to us and was able to come to our house in about 10 minutes. It took about a half hour to check all the components and determine that we needed a new control board in the blower unit. The technician was able to wire a work-around of the bad circuit so that we could have A/C over the weekend if we turned the blower unit on and off with the main electric switch on the unit in the basement or just let the fan run all weekend while the condenser cycled on and off as needed. The part was not available before Monday or Tuesday, but the $145 charge for the time and a half service call would be the only labor charge we would have to pay. The office was supposed to call us when they had a price and availability on the part and we could decide then how to proceed. We did not hear from anyone on Monday, so I called them late in the day and was told that I was next on the list for the repairman to come. I was glad that the part was found so quickly, but did not get the price quote ahead of time. This was not a part I would shop around for myself, and we had already been promised no additional labor charges, so I did not complain. As it turned out, we were unable to have the repairman back that afternoon, so he arrived as scheduled around 8 a.m. on Tuesday. Even though it took over an hour to wire in the new control board since it was a new board going into a 15-year-old unit and there were some difficulties, we were in fact charged only for the part which was over $400. I have no way of knowing if that was reasonable, but I do know that,in general, electronics tend to be very expensive. The unit has worked great since the repair, sailing through yet another heat wave of 100+ degree heat indices. Sigman Heating and Cooling did a very good job of fixing our A/C in an timely fashion and helping us to get through the weekend in comfort. I was glad that the service call was our only labor charge since we bought the part from them. The service technician was courteous, knowlegable, and professional. The office end of the business could perhaps keep the customer updated better. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience with Sigman and would call on them again.

It was great service. We had quotes from 2 other companies and they were all within a couple hundred dollars of each other.

I spent about $50 on the last service. That service went very well. They were prompt, courteous and did they job as required.

I spoke with Joel Sigman when soliciting bids for the project. I had been referred to him by several previous customers who had Geothermal installed. He was very forthright in his bidding process and extremely competitive in pricing. Incidentally, he has been installing ground source heat pumps since before they were popular so knew his product. Once the work started, he coordinated with the driller and electrician for us. Sigman Heating's people were punctual and clean and did their best to get us through a very hot several weeks with some cooling while the system was partially installed. The overall quality of the work and installation is top notch. The installation included the Geothermal systems, air filters and humidifiers. So far (5 months later), the systems are working as expected without any problems. Follow-up service for a couple minor issues has been good (but could have been quicker) and addressed a minor issue with one of the air filters.

This could have been a total nightmare. The Lennox unit made the interior walls and floor of our house HUMMMMMMM! Not a good thing. After several motor replacements, a visit from the Lennox representative, and some real uncomfortable conversations with the service representatives the owner got involved and worked with us to replace the entire system in our home with a Bryant system. We've done business with Sigmun for atleast 12 years and this was about to be our last. In the end, Sigmun made sure we were happy with what we bought and how it was performing. A long road? Yes. But we are happy with the result.

They gave me a quote prior to doing the work. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were very conscious about cleanliness and the work area. We have a finished basement, and they were very careful about bringing equipment in and taking it out. They just worked and did a good job. They were here on the job and got it done. There was no messing around. The training that they provided with the new equipment was excellent as well. This was my first association with them. I would give them very high marks for what has been done so far. I would use them again in the future.

tech arrived ahead of time (on a busy and hot day).......and completed the work in about an hour. Gave me some pointers on how to get better efficiency from the AC unit.

They were accurate in their estimate. We were able to negotiate some other minor points of the installation. The people, from their sales to their installer supervisor, were very knowledgeable and punctual. I give them an A+ across the board!
