Ron sent Jeff to work on our yard, and Jeff did a great job. They were attentive to our concerns, and we'll definitely use them again in the Spring to cut down a few trees the need to be removed.

Can't say enough good things about this company and the job that they did trimming and removing all of the deadwood from my huge Pin Oak tree. Prompt, courteous, cleaned up entire yard when finished!

It was over 50% less than the previous quotes, the quotes from other people.

They were great! They came out, the tree was on my neighbors property. It was unfurling my house. These guys actually showed up and called ahead of time before we were originally schedule. They were quick, efficient and I have no complaints. As a matter of fact the original estimate was $450 for two trees. We were talking and they said look I'm just going to do the other tree for free. I had an estimate of $1000, they came in at $450, we were talking and he said he's knock it down to $400. Everything was done all per agreed. I can't fault the guy for that.

Great! A two-man crew showed-up for the job. Each gentleman was very pleasant & cordial. They explained what they were going to do and didn't talk down to me. They even spoke to the neighborhood children who sat watching across the street. The crew performed their work in a safe manner and showed respect for the neighbor's yard and mine. They cleaned-up after the job was completed. Neither property was damaged!! I will hire them again.

They did what I asked at the agreed price. They pre-coordinated their work, were prompt, and cleaned up area when finished.

They are a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Josh came out and did the estimate and my husband was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. They arrived bright and early to do the work and I was amazed how quick and efficient they are. And they left our yard spotless. We couldnt be more pleased with the work they did for us and plan to have them back in the Spring to plant some replacements.

The Meurer Brothers were great. They came out the same day I called them to look at some trees I needed trimmed. One of them I actually thought I needed removed, however, they talked me out of it. These guys really love trees. I would up having them trim and raise the canopy of 7 trees and then trim an 8th. They were prompt, worked quickly, cleaned up their work area and were polite and professional throughout the day. I would highly recommend this company.

It went great. The tree was very large and had fallen very close to windows, and was laying on our roof and deck. They removed the tree and cleaned up the yard. It was a tricky process due to the close proximity to the fence and windows. The tree was also laying on our roof. They removed everything, cleared some other trees that were also dead. They were very professional, came out right on time, and didn't leave any mess at all. They had all the right equipment that allowed them to remove the trees without any further damage to the house, windows, roof, deck or fence. I was very grateful they came out immediately and cleaned it all up.

This is our second experience with this vendor and I cannot say enough good things about their service. After they removed a tree they were waiting for a truck to pick up the logs -- so we used the time to survey the remaining trees to make sure they were ok. As a courtesy they removed some dead limbs in the top of two other trees -- going far above and beyond what is expected. A well deserved A+ rating from me!

We were having the service done since we were having our roof repaired and didn't want the trees possibly damaging our new roof. The first trip they did was on time and they examined the property and provided an estimate. I then had several conversations with them on the phone as I tried to determine which trees I wanted trimmed. I then scheduled them to come out and trim the trees. However, due to timing issues I had to have them come out after the roof repairs were concluded which meant the roofers had cut the trees back. As a result we had to adjust what was going to be trimmed again once they arrived. I was very happy they were so flexable. In the end the trees were well trimmed and shouldn't be a problem for a long while.

I wasn't home when they did the work to watch them however, when I got home I didn't find on single branch that they left of the ground from trimming all 7 trees.

The service was excellent. A young man came out and gave us an estimate and told us that it might take a week for the actual service since it was a very busy time period. We took a few days to think it over and gave them a call. Within a few days they called and told us what day and approximate time they would be there. My husband was at home when they came and he said it took a little less than an hour and a half to take down the trees and clean up. The yard was immaculate. The whole procedure from beginning to end was done with integrity and professionalism.

One of the Meurer's visited the property and walked around with me to go over what I wanted to have done and he provided me a written estimate. In a couple of days I had an appointment. The crew was courteous, professional and fast. They were the best, and one of the guys even gave me some pointers on how to control a few unruley vines. The crew cleared, hauled/mulched all debris away. I am very happy with the results--my yards look GREAT!

I called asked for estimate to remove tree, the estimater arrived the next day and provided a written estimate , I accepted the estimate and removal was scheduled about ten days later, The crew arrived on time and the tree was removed in about an hour, the crew completely cleaned up debris - leaving the property cleaner than when they arrived. Great job!

Tree removals were quick, cleaned up well. Maple trees haven't looked this good in years. Very pleased with their service.

Did not provide the service I was looking for in my area.

They did a good job and they're pretty cheap. We help them with the clean up and we cut the fee down to $125 for 14 trees. We got the older gentleman, I think he's actually the father of the Meurer brothers, he explained to us how often to prune trees and why he was ridding off some branches, he's pretty good, he knew exactly what he was doing, he was done in an hour and a half with 14 trees, and the trees looked a lot better, he did a good job. They do what they do. I guess I called late in the season and they had a million people so it took a little while to get them out here but it worked out fine. I'll use them again, they'll come back in November.

Arrival at our home to clean-up and departure took only 1 3/4 hours--in 103 heat!

It was my second time using them. Their rates were good. They had all the equipment they needed and were in and out.

They are excellent. I would recommend them. They were punctual, responsive, and professional. I would use this company again.

I contacted Meurer Brothers early March about a silver maple that I thought had a fungus and needed to be removed. Josh Meurer, arborist and president of the company, came out on March 13, 2012 to look at the tree and give an estimate on removal. I wasn't home when Josh came by but he left a written estimate for me. I called the office when I got home to be clear on the details of the estimate and Josh called me back within a reasonable time that same day. I was told that the maple tree had carpenter ants, not fungus, and could be saved with crown restoration and spraying for the ants. The mulberry and peach trees in the back yard could be removed for an additional fee not listed on the estimate, but quoted over the phone. I wasn't given a set time for scheduling the removal of the trees. I was told "within a couple weeks" which I totally understood as being dependent on weather conditions. These trees were not causing major trouble and could wait. I called the office around March 27th to try to narrow down a date for the work to be done so I could coordinate being home. We agreed to try for April 3rd. Josh called yesterday (April 2) to confirm the appointment. Gene and his work crew arrived this morning around 8 AM. They couldn't have been more professional. Gene's supervisory skills were A+. He was well aware of everything going on with the crew even while he was up in the bucket truck or climbing the trees to cut. There was a miscommunication in which mulberry tree to cut down. Josh quoted for the smaller tree. I thought the quote was for the larger tree. Gene contacted Josh on this and corrected the error, even though I know the expense would have been greater for the larger tree. I was not asked to pay the difference in the cost. This really showed me the true integrity of the Meurer Brothers. The yard was cleared of all debris. Caution was paid to take care of the flower beds during the entire process. Their attention to detail really stood out. All of the guys worked well together as a team to accomplish the job in as short a time as possible. This is a large company, providing quality tree care and service. They receive many, many requests for estimates and scheduling is tied to weather. If I had been in a big hurry to get this done, I might have been disappointed, but really, it was more important to me to get the work done right, so the wait was not a problem. The cost of the service was at the max end of my fixed-income budget allowance for repairs, but I feel good about having certified arborists complete the work and am thrilled that the big shade tree in front of the house could be saved. The price quoted was fair, in spite of the error, as it's certainly true that you get what you pay for. I would definitely recommend this company to others.
