Horrible. The floor was installed incorrectly and Lowes will not do anything. The Pergo floor I spent thousands of dollars for looks horrible and is delaminating. Lowes will not even send someone out to look at the floor. They put Pergo over an existing floor, this is what happens when you do that. We trusted that Lowes knew what they were doing. They did not. Now we are stuck having to pay to have the floor they put in ripped out and a new floor. DO NOT USE LOWES FOR FLOORING AND EXPECT ANYTHING BUT MONTHS OF BEING PUT OFF AND THEN THEM STATING THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU!

Staff did a great job performing the remodel even when I wasn't home. Very satisfied with the work done.

The guys worked with me and they did a great job. They told me about the specials that they were having. They gave me ideas. They even put me in touch with a couple of really good contractors. I have to give them a big thumbs up. They were extremely helpful and very very knowledgeable. There was a difference between the stores and I am thinking that is just the management style, but on a whole, they were really easy to work with. They actively tried to save me money because I went in there with one thing in mind and the guy said, "We can do it your way, but take a look at this because I can do better on this." The doors that he showed me have better quality than the ones that I have picked up and I got them for half the money. So, I was quite pleased with them. In fact, I have already got plans with them for a new kitchen and some other stuff.

Normally I like them fine. My last visit was not as pleasant as normal. I use my company charge and frequent them often. To get reimbursed I have to to have a detailed list of what I purchased. When I went to do this, I noticed I had been charged for about $75 worth of stuff I did not receive. There were two bottles of floor cleaner and then a rug doctor. I never used them or went in there for them. The only place that rents outs the rug doctor is customer service and we will have to check the log book and pull security cameras. So they checked the log and there was no purchase. Then they checked security tape while I stood there for about 45 minutes getting upset. When they came back out all they did was put the money back on my charge card. And I said thats it, I had to take time off of work to deal with this and thats all you come back with. So she goes back and the manager will give you 10% off the next purchase, which is something that I can get online. Normally I do have good customer service there, but I am still upset about this. When you go in to buy a product you get what you paid for. The people seem professional most of the times.

There was something wrong with the hot water connection so they took away the washer and put in a new one, which was good. We've always had good luck with them. They have also done a range/hood. We have always had good luck with their installations. We were satisfied with the service. The store is close by. I have some complaints about the washing machine. It is a new high efficiency thing and it uses high efficiency detergent. It doesn't have an agitator and it runs 4 inches of water down into the tank and swooshes the clothes around. It does seem to get the clothes clean but it is rather disconcerting that it doesn't fill the tank all the way up. Everything was on sale and it was about the same price as another company. The washing machine is so different from anything I've ever had before and they didn't warn me. I don't know if it would have occurred to tell me.

I first contacted Mr. Shaw on May 18, 2011, to get estimates for 3 different jobs needing to be done. The single fee was charged for any number of exterior jobs. Rates quoted for the Pella window replacement was $470.00. My other two estimates received for the same job (from different companies) were $750 and $1,200. The window space was measured multiple times and the window has been special-ordered but has not yet arrived for installation. I contacted two other companies for fencing. I live in an older, established neighborhood where everyone has chain-link fencing. The other two companies contacted did not offer chain-link. Lowe's has fencing in-stock which can be installed right away or fencing can be special-ordered for different sizes or colors. Mine was special ordered and is scheduled to be installed this week. One day of the installation is for setting the posts in concrete. The second day, the fencing is completed. I contacted two other companies for gutter guards, and both companies told me they could repair my bent/warped guttering for an additional charge. Estimates from both companies for gutter guards was between $1,500-$3,500. Lowe's quoted $908.00 for replacing the gutter and installing full leaf guard protection almost identical to the other company's products. I opted to keep the existing leaf guard screens but have the gutters replaced for $360.00. Work was completed this week in just a few hours. Finished product looks terrific. I re-installed the existing leaf guards myself. Mr. Shaw was very honest with his recommendations for products needed and did not try to sell me anything that I didn't need. No-pressure estimates and he worked with me to look at all different options to meet my needs. Although some work is still pending due to special-order, Mr. Shaw has done a great job of keeping me informed of the status of each project. He works to coordinate work orders submitted to each certified, specialty installer and keeps lines of communication open between all parties. So far, this has been a good experience and I would recommend Lowe's installation services to others.
