I wouldn't use this company again. If he's to busy to provide an estimate I seriously worry that he'll be to busy to provide acceptable work on the jobs we asked him to do. I'm looking for an electrician who is responsive and cares enough to follow through on his promises.

Very easy to communicate with. Gave a prompt estimate and good advice. He arrived on time and cleaned up nicely. Price seemed reasonable for the amount of work done. Hard to assess the quality of electrical work but everything is working well. I definitely recommend Locoelectric.

He reset two switches and replaced a damaged switch on the box.

We had just put our house up for sale. The first week the house was for sale we noticed when we would turn the yard light on it would trip the circuit breaker. We called Locoelectro to come to the house to provide an estimate. He (Jeff) arrived promptly. He worked quickly to determine the problem and provided various options to address the problem. We elected to have him run a new wire from the crawl space to the yard light. Jeff returned the following week (at our request) to make the repairs. He was prompt, courteous and very efficient. We would definitely use their services in the future.

Not enough good can be said about the work. He's prompt, accurate and charges a fee that actually makes me feel a little guilty when considering the quality service provided. He takes pride in his work and cares about the customer.

Jeff responded quickly to my initial call about an estimate; then got back to me right away with a total for the job. Once I decided on a date to do the work, he showed up right on time, w/an assistant, & the job was quickly completed - to my total satisfaction. He does great work, @ a fair price...what more could you ask?

Jeff was very professional and great at communication. He always took time to communicate what was going to be happening with the project at the start and the end of the day. He would generally communicate when they would be there the next time, when they were going for lunch breaks, etc. He was willing to take time to answer any questions and explain what was happening. They always came when they said they would. They worked very professionally. He explained what would be happening with the electrical inspection, etc. We had an issue when switching from the old to new circuits that we discovered after he left for the day. (This can happen in a house with this old of a house and wiring). Jeff came out as soon as he could do resolve the problem. For someone who wants this big of a job done on a historic house in a short time the scheduling might be a challenge. However, we knew going into it that on this big of a job, Jeff primarily works on the weekends so this was not a problem for us. Locoelectro has a good reputation among home owners in the historical area. This is another reason we chose to go with this company. Jeff with Locoelectro was extremely reliable and great at communication which is extremely important when you have people working on your house.

The service was great. Quick, and they cleaned up after. He first came and looked things over and talked me out of some things I thought needed to be done. He explained why they didn't have to be changed and why they really were safe. Then he sent a bid for the dryer and living room plugs which seemed fair and explained the hourly rate that would be needed to investigate and fix the broken GFI's. Two GFI's were wired wrong and fixed and replaced in less than a half-hour. Where they had to cut holes in the walls, they were careful and made it neat. He works Saturdays and some evenings so it's convenient for M-F workers. I am very happy and pleased and will definitely have him back for the next project.

Jeff arrived on time for both appointments and was careful not to make a big mess while working. He took the time to explain what he was doing and was very knowledgeable. He was also careful to approach the problem incrementally rather than tearing out what was installed and redoing the work. Overall a very positive experience. I will definitely call him back if I need electrical services.

Becasue the house is 50 plus years old, there were issues with the original installation and the new fixtures. He was able to adapt with minimum effort. Have used Locoelectro several times in the past three years at two homes; excellent response and service.

The price included the service call and the one-hour that he was there. He didn't have to do any major changes. I was very pleased with him. He was on time and he was in communication with me prior. He was very efficient at what he did.

I chose LocoElectro based on previous Angie's List postings. I called Jeff for a work estimate and he was able to come out within a couple of days. Jeff's estimate was very reasonable and we scheduled a time to get the work done. He actually called me to offer an earlier appointment time when he had another job that finished early. I appreciated his consideration allowing me an opportunity to move things ahead of schedule. Jeff came out with an assistant and they finished the work quickly and without incident. Because the work was done in a shorter amount of time than he had anticipated, he made an adjustment in the amount billed for time on the job. I think very few people would have done this and it speaks volumes about his integrity. They left the work space clean. I was able to install a ceiling fan on my own. I've had no problems or issues with the work done. Ceiling fan works fine and is properly secured. Jeff and his assistant were friendly, professional and did great work. I would highly recommend LocoElectro to anyone and will certainly call again if I need any electrical work done in the future.

all went wel. Work was done as scheduled, and met their cost estimates, and passed the inspection. They started on time and finished on time. I was very satisfied with all aspects of their work.

This work has been done in phases since the house is occupied, the phases have been spread out starting in June 2009. The owner, Jeff, was great to work with, he understood my need to tackle the rewiring in phases and worked with me to split up the work into logical phases. His ability to work on Saturdays and late afternoons made it possible for me to be there in case of questions and just for peace of mind. The crew worked flat-out from the time they arrived until they left and were respectful of working around my cats. My only concern was during the first major phase it didn't seem they were prepared to cover furniture, floors etc. even though we discussed that in advance and the work could have been a bit more tidy (fingerprints on ceilings and walls). But during the second major phase the work was much more tidy and they cleaned up the plaster dust, etc. more than I expected. I have recommended this electrician to my friends and plan on having them continue work on the rewiring as time allows.

My experience with them went good. They were straightforward. It was a difficult project and they took their time to think through. I would give them credit for that.

They came and completely rewired our three story house. It was a pretty big job and the local newspaper featured our house because it was such a good job. He was always on time and was very professional. He knew what he was doing. There was no surprises and told us everything that he was going to do. And the price was reasonable.
