+ -1 moreWe have used her since we moved into this house. The experience went just fine. There were no problems other than it took a while to get the wall paper. It took probably 6 months to finish the design.
Description of Work: We used Carole Hiatt. She just finished up with the half bath with us. She helped us pick out the tile, she designed the trapezoidal mirror, she helped us pick out the light fixture, she did the original diagram of the Marcus cabinetry that was put in there. She helped me pick out which art work we would have framed and put in there, and she picked out the two different types of wall paper that are used in the room.

+ 0 moreOur greatest complaint was that we were not listened to during the project. We were less than satisfied with the wall colors after they were painted. The carpeting was very good as were the ceramic tile in the kitchen and the ceiling fans and lights. The window treatments were a disappointment and we returned them because they blocked our view of the backyard. There were a few problems with the flooring installation as a result of poor communication between Hiatt and the subcontractors.
Description of Work: We hired Hiatt Carole Design Associates to help us with wall colors, ceiling fans and lights, drawer hardware, flooring, and window treatments for our home. She was in charge of organizing the project. Painting was done by a subcontractor, as was the flooring (carpet and tile). She did the window treatments.
