BEL-AIR HEATING & COOLING

Ok at first. However, they can not perform the maintenance before the season. They came out for a problem that should have been checked earlier. They said our heater was overheating due to a dirty air filter. Charged over $100 to change it using "our" air filter . They missed the real problem. Different tech the 2nd time and found a tubing that just crumbled in their hands. Said 'oh we won't charge you for the second visit and it's part of their warranty'. I called to find out why we were charged for the service call. Said they weren't responsible since the maintenance was done February 2016. They said all was fine at that time. Said they were only responsible if it was no more than 2 months after the maintenance was done. I personally think this is not the definition of a "service contract" .This problem should have been caught before, since the tubing was so bad. Would not try to work with me about this service call even though we had this "maintenance contract". Told them I would cancel the contract and they said it is your choice. "We can't perform maintenance before the season, since we have so many customers . " So I cancelled.

Very professional and informative and the install went great the system is getting its workout during this heatwave and all I hear is my Honeybun complaining she's cold. My system ROCKS. A lot of work had to be done since my existing furnace had to be removed and when my furnace needs replaced they will be the one I call. GREAT JOB Bel-Air Heating and Cooling!!! I HIGHLY recommend them. It takes a lot of time to write recommendations most people don't but when a Professional does a great job they deserve it. That's why I'm writing one now because they deserve one. Again I say GREAT JOB!!!

Brian came out and took apart the furnance and cleaned the unit. He was very courteous and professional. I asked questions and he was very informative. He didn't try to sell me on anything, just offered his honest professional opinion.

This company installed the furnace and A/C in my home, before I purchased it. I had them perform the routine furnace cleaning and adjustment. I also had them come back on another occasion to clean the duct work. They are reasonably priced and do a good job. I would use them again. They seem honest and trustworthy. Because they are a very small company, I did have trouble once getting in touch with the technician, when he was out of town.

I had an A/C unit go bad at the end of last season (we have two for our house - upstairs and downstairs). As the warmer season approached, I called Bel-Air to check it out. They came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. The units were both 18 years old, so Brian (the technician) ran through my different options. He made everything clear, including the price breakdown and the warranties associated with each option. He also mentioned that if I got rid of my old units, Ameren could possibly give me a rebate for each one. Brian really knows his stuff. I decided to replace both units and the coils inside the house. The rebate brought my overall price down from $4300 to $3100. They had everything installed and running a few days after we made the deal. I couldn't be there the whole time, so they broke with work down to the outside work on one day (the units) and the coils a couple of days later. Very professional and timely. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

They sent a very experienced technician that advised me he thought that the condenser could be repaired and his experience gave me a lot of confidence in his opinion that he would be able to repair it. I did ask him a lot of general heating and cooling questions and he was able to answer them for me even though that was not what he was there for.

We came home from vacation in the middle of winter. Our furnace was broken, so we called Bel-Air. They came out the same day we called them and looked at our furnace. They happened to have the part on their truck, so they were able to fix it the same day as well. The repairman was very friendly and knew exactly what he was doing.
