Awesome! Jay is one of the providers recommended by Ameren, and I can see why! For the job estimate, Jay set up a blower door and went around with an infared camera showing us where we were leaking air (everywhere!). After he went into the attic, he used a tablet with close-up pictures to explain the issues we had, and to show us similar problems that he had fixed. Incredibly informative. He spent almost an hour with us, explaining what needed to be done and answering our questions. Other estimators just gave us a number, plus they were all higher! Jay & crew showed up at 7:30 AM, worked all day pulling crummy old insulation out of our low-ceilinged, difficult to get thru, attic (~2000 sq ft). While they were up there, they noticed a couple of leaks (of course, it was raining!) and repaired them. Our bathroom exhaust fans & microwave exhaust were original to the house (30 years old), so Jay replaced them with current technology, correctly installed, and vented through the roof. Once the exhausts were completed, they sealed up every opening between the living space & the attic (fabricating patches, and spray-foamed over these, so everything was tight. Final step for the attic was to add blown-in insulation. Through the whole process, the crew was polite, professional and even cleaned up after themselves!

Their prices were much higher than another company that I found. He told me some things that weren't true about my attic.

The experience was gret and I would recommend them to anyone lookig to insulate their home.
