A1 TELEPHONE REPAIR SERVICE

I called, for some reason my phone hung up, so he called me back and accused me of hanging up on him. Then he got really ugly. I got the rudest customer service from him.

I was referred to them by a collector's site (HOME APPLIANCE ... 1265 County Rd N, ROBERTS, WI, 54023 ) who did not have he rair parts in stock, but could have sold me a complete phone of the same model for about $300. Helping me to repair my old phone instead of forcing me to buy a complete phone from themselves was a very decent thing to do. The call to A1 telephone repair took only a few minutes to obtain the part I needed, and was much simpler and less expensive than sending my phone to Belleville, IL to be repaired by A1 Telephone Repair.

I dropped the phones off and described the problems. I picked them up a couple of weeks later, paid a very reasonable $35 charge and took them home. I discovered that one of the phones did not dial out. I called A1 and left a message. The owner called me back in ten minutes and spent another fifteen minutes on the phone with me to solve the problem. He talked me through a simple wiring change on the phone jack in my house. I was very impressed with his concern that everything worked before he felt his job was done.

I was referred to A1 by the Crosley Company (maker of reproduction vintage phones). I contacted Dennis at A1 and he is the nicest kindest man. I shipped the handset to him and the next thing I know he calls me directly and says he is speaking on my handset. We made all the arrangements to pay via the web at that moment and he shipped immediately. I received it today and everything is perfect. This company, especially Dennis, does everything right. They are courteous and reasonable. They make promises and keep them. They fix quickly and ship fast. I would use this company over and over again for any repairs. THANKS DENNIS!
