 + -1 moretl;dr - hire for the price and professionalism, stay for the expertise and follow-up We had a problem with a rental softener from another company (that rhymes with mulligan). Called L&H and Bruce came over a few days later. He recommended a more efficient softener (that recharges as needed, using less salt and water) and reverse osmosis system similar to one he uses at his house. Delivery, installation, and clean-up were done in a few hours. Ten days later, the water seemed hard and the next recharge wouldn't occur for another two hundred gallons. Called L&H and Bruce came over the next day. I had overfilled the brine tank, resulting in a salt bridge, which Bruce fixed right away.

 + -1 moreWe are very happy with the new system, and also with the professionalism of the labor and services that went into the installation. The system works as well as hoped for, and the air conditioning was a necessary addition for the hot summer weather we seemingly are now dealing with. We'd heartily recommend this firm and Mike to any others thinking of such work in this area.
Description of Work: We contracted with one of the owners, Mike Hameister, to install a complete forced air gas heating & air conditioning system in my mother's home. Complicating this was that the house was previously equipped only with an outdated baseboard electrical heating system, which meant that an entirely new heating & air conditioning system would have to be built from scratch. This entailed the installation of the main forced air gas furnace, an air conditioning compressor, a substantial duct work system distributing the heated/cooled air throughout the house, the cutting of vents & cool air returns in the living areas, as well as the necessary electrical hookups to the system & circuit breaker boxes. This eventually necessitated some 20 hours of work from Mike & one of his co-worker helpers over the course of two consecutive days.
