I was very satisfied.

the crew arrived at 8 am as promised and worked until past 7 pm. They were very professional and extremely neat. everything was fully explained to my wife and I as the work progressed. When they finish everything was cleaned and vacuumed. It actually looked better than before they came.

Estimator was right on schedule. Installer arrived when planned, worked cleanly, and left after doing an awesome and neat job. Two or three days later, the interior finish specialist came an finished the interior of the door (stained pine). Stain match and work was perfect.

Owner provided written estimate, samples, references and literature on home visit. Work was scheduled and completed exactly as promised. Windows were delivered directly from the brand name of window company into our garage. The 2 man installation crew was fast, efficient, polite and had a sense of humor--the installation took less than 2 days. Crew was very clean in the house, a little messier outside, but cleaned up the job site well when they were finished. A few days later I discovered that one piece of hardware was not as ordered. I called the office and the proper hardware was sent out immediately. One window sash developed a problem several months later and Schmidt's office directed me to call the company (of the brand name of windows)and they sent out a repair person quickly who replaced the defective unit quickly without any hassle. The product is excellent and although the cost was relatively expensive, I'm glad I made the choice that I did.

Excellent! The salesperson, Michelle, was very conscientious and very pleasant to work with. My main reason for selecting Pella windows was the prospect of having new wood frames that would match those in the rest of my very contemporary house. The installers were hard working and highly skilled and worked without stopping from 9:00 until 5:00 and cleaned up and took away the debris. Steve, the crew chief, was a real craftsman and was eager to accommodate my ideas. The windows are beautiful to look at and give me great pleasure. They are not really airtight, Im sorry to say, but they are lovely.

My contact with the company was a pleasant experience. Michelle, my sales rep, arrived promptly to give me an estimate. I was hesitant about having holes drilled into the brick exterior of our home. I hadn't heard of this product, so I did some research on the Internet. From what I read it looked to be something that would work for us. Fernando and his crew arrived at the appointed time and began to work. I got a little nervous once I saw the holes, however, after completion I couldn't tell where the drilling was done. They washed the walls and re-tuckpointed were the insulation was blown in and left the work area clean. I am quite happy with the outcome. However, I won't know until we get to use the air conditioner or furnace again to find out if Air Krete is as good as the company proclaims.

QUALITY OF PELLA WINDOWS IS EXCELLENT. SELECTION OF WINDOW BRANDS WAS BROAD, AND GOOD ADVICE GIVEN ON WHICH TO CHOOSE. BROKE ANTIQUE LIGHTING FIXTURE, BUT DID HONOR REIMBURSEMENT REQUEST. SERVICE WAS MEDIOCRE. SCHMIDT OVERSELLS ITS WOODWORKING CAPABILITIES. FAILED TO MATCH INTERIOR WINDOW TRIM WITH EXISTING TRIM. SCHMIDT BICKERED A LOT.

ARRIVED AT 8AM-WITHOUT THE WINDOW & DOOR. PUSHED BACK 1 HOUR. INSTALLATION TOOK TIL 4:30. WAS TOLD TEAM WOULD INSTALL IN 1/2 DAY. 1 MAN DID IT ALONE. INSTALLATTION WAS GOOD,QUALITY OF PRODUCT GOOD,JUST VERY SLOW AND TIED US UP FOR A WHOLE DAY. NOTE: WHEN GOT READY TO INSTALL THE PATIO DOOR,TORE OUT OLD DOOR AND LEFT OPEN TO WEATHER FOR ABOUT HOUR UNTIL SOMEONE CAME TO HELP PLACE DOOR AND THEN LEFT HIM ALONE AGAIN.

VERY PROFESSIONAL APPROACH. COST HIGHER THAN OTHERS WHO PROVIDED A HIGHER QUALITY PRODUCT. CONCERNED THAT COMPANY ACCEPTED ONLY CASH OR CHECKS. TO ME, IT RAISES A RED FLAG REGARDING INCOME FOR TAX REPORTING PURPOSES WHEN A COMPANY DOES NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENT AND OFFERS A DISCOUNT FOR CASH VERSUS CHECK PAYMENT.

THE GUYS FROM SCHMIDT DID A VERY GOOD JOB OVERALL INSTALLING OUR WINDOWS. THERE WAS SOME DAMAGE TO A WINDOW FRAME IN ONE BEDROOM, WHICH THEY DID AN OK JOB OF REPAIRING. OUR CREW COULD HAVE COMMUNICATED A LITTLE BETTER ABOUT WHAT THEY WERE DOING, BUT THEY WORKED HARD, AND DIDN'T REALLY TAKE A BREAK ALL DAY. THEY TOOK CARE PUTTING DOWN DROP CLOTHS INSIDE, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES WELL. AFTER THE INSTALLATION, I HAD A PROBLEM WITH ONE OF THE WINDOWS - A SCREW THAT HOLDS A TENSION CORD PULLED OUT OF THE SIDE OF THE WINDOW. SCHMIDT CONTACTED PELLA FOR ME, AND THEY PROMPTLY CAME OUT AND WILL BE REPLACING THAT WINDOW.

THEY ARE RESPONSIVE, RELIABLE AND KEPT ALL THEIR PROMISES. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

VANCE, OUR SALES REP, WAS EXTREMELY RESPONSIVE. I GOT THREE QUOTES, BUT HE SOLD ME ALMOST TEN MINUTES AFTER BEING IN THE DOOR. HE REALLY ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS OF TRYING TO STAY WITHIN CHARACTER OF MY OLD HOUSE. MIKE SCHMIDT, THE OWNER, CAME OUT A FEW DAYS LATER TO 'DOUBLE CHECK' EVERYTHING AND TO ADDRESS A FEW CONCERNS VANCE HAD. (HE WANTED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME). THE CARPENTERS WERE UNBELIEVABLE! TOP -NOTCH ALL THE WAY. THEY EVEN BUILT ME A NEW PLANT SHELF TO REPLACE THE ONE THAT HAD TO BE REMOVED FOR THE NEW WINDOWS. ALL-AROUND FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP WAS EXTRAORDINARY. MIKE SCHMIDT, THE OWNER, TOOK CARE OF ALL THE DETAILS AND BELIEVES HIS WORKERS DESERVE A LIVING WAGE WITH JOB SECURITY- SO THEY ARE HARDWORKING AND PROFESSIONAL! I GIVE THEM AN A-PLUS!
