Neri Landscape & Maintenance

Great, on time, very clean...cleaned up any and all debris. Made repairs to the grass as this was a very difficult accessed area. Very good job.

I called them and received a prompt reply from their receptionist, who took my information and said someone would be in contact to provide an estimate soon. After a week, I called as I did not hear from anyone. The call was transferred to the owner, Gino, who seemed confused that I was expecting a return call. When I explained I was just looking for status as to when they would be able to provide an estimate, he said he'd be there within 2-3 days. Two weeks pass, I hired another firm. He finally called and asked if I still wanted a quote. Of course, I replied no. Terrible follow-thru. All I kept hearing was how busy they were. I get it, its that time of year, but staff up, just as stores do around Christmas. Or if you prefer not to staff up, then tell potential clients you are not taking on any more business.

This is 2nd time we have used Neri. In our regards they are the best. A little pricy but they are pros. Work done: Edge garden beds. They were spade edged to approx 2 1/2". Perfect Spring clean up included trim back hydrangeas, remove annuals, blow out beds, remove leaves, sticks and winter debris Cutting back peonies. clematis. Weed beds Premium Hardwood Mulch Trim bushes EXCELLENT JOB and VERY CLEAN before leaving.

They were right in with all the other estimates. We did it then they took our ideas and made it work so they weren't someone who would say no. I just wanted a rectangular fire pit instead of a circle, and they did it and they understood our vision and they worked with it to get it done. Nobody does a rectangular fire pit but it was such a great idea.

Phenomenal! They're QUICK, thorough, and Geno Neri is a super nice, reasonable guy! They're NOT the cheapest, BUT, their level of quality certain far exceeds that of other fly-by-night landscape companies in the area, namely TJ's Land Care.

Bid was provided in timely manner. Work was scheduled as promised. The areas worked on look fantastic. New mulch was added around the house in flower beds that were edged. New grass and bushes were put in on side of house. Work was performed over 2 consecutive days.

We were real pleased with the work done and the clean up. Prior years we had mulch delivered and did our own installation but the difference in cost was not that great. It was done in an afternoon instead of 2 days of my husband working on it. Worth it. They cleaned and cut some scraggly juniper bushes and a variety of other shrubs in the front of the house. They also weeded in these areas that we almost impossible to get to without being scratched by the existing shrub limbs. Everything looked great when done. Completed 1/2 day. 3 workers. Owner Geno arrived in afternoon for inspection. I plan on using in the future for additional work which we will discuss and decide later. We had to wait a while for them to get to us. Weather had been rainy for several weeks putting them behind on their already existing jobs. Suggest you schedule for your estimate and allow for some changes due to weather. The delay was worth it and hardly the company's fault.

Worker came out to give estimate in March or April. One week passed without hearing back from the estimator, so I called the office. I was told by Gino himself, the owner, that the scope of our project went beyond the estimator's expertise. Gino then told me that he was booked until mid June anyway. I asked him if he could recommend another landscaper; he, of course, replied that he didn't know of any others. Neri Landscaping must have already made its million dollar quota this year, so my job must not have been lucrative enough.

They are wonderful. I can't say enough about Geno and his crew. My yard always looks beautiful and Geno goes above and beyond the call to make things right for me. Two years ago I was in Italy when we had a terrible storm and a tree fell on my garage. Geno (and my insurance agent) took care of removing the tree, getting a roofer, supervised the re-roofing, and doing a perfect clean up. When I came home, it was as though nothing had happened.

Geno is honest and hardworking. We have used him for the last 5 years for all of our landscape projects (big and small) including a lovely cascading pondless waterfall, hardscape and plantings. Geno brings expertise to every project and stands by his work.

We had a previous contractor build a small retaining wall and paver patio. After only 3 years, the wall "blew out" into the yard after the spring thaw. Turned out it was not properly supported and the stones we had initially contracted for were not used. I would definitely use Neri Landscaping again! They did a great job, and were neat and cleaned up the dirt, too. The wall is great now. The perennials that were there originally, Neri even managed to save. We enjoy our wall, patio and planting area every spring as it blooms!

Geno, the owner, is involved in all aspects of his business. He is very accessible and prompt if you need to talk to him. He is also very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to landscaping. Tammy is also very nice when you call the office.

Mr. Neri was very professional and came up with a very nice plan for our yard in just a couple of days. When he changed our initial ideas, he had valid reasons for the substitutions. All of his responses to my questions were within a day or two. However, it was beyond what we were willing to spend. He made several suggestions for ways to reduce the cost without destroying the plan, but in the end it was still too expensive. I would still recommend him and would try to use him in the future.

We've used the company several times before, and we've always been happy with its work. Gino is very flexible and accommodating, very knowledgeable, and does good work.

They did a very good job, and my only issue was that the thickness of the mulch wasn't what I had expected it to be. Some areas were fine, but others were not.

Everything goes well as usual. The owner is trustorthy and reliable, and he does a great job of staying on budget. Furthermore, they always do good work.

The only issue was that disconnects in communication sometimes occurred. However, this seems to have been rectified.
