Several highly-rated local firms never returned my calls. Ricky called back quickly and was responsive throughout. He had very good ideas on unique ways to solve my electrical problems, talked me out of making a lighting mistake, and was flexible enough to complete some last minute add-on jobs. Their estimate was very fair, the work was top notch and the turnaround time was very reasonable. I will use Neighborhood Electric for my future residential electric projects, including remodeling the basement lighting.

These guys were great, they were able to reach a 20 ft chandelier and install a bunch of new fixtures in my hallways. Would definitely hire them again!

Our projects went well. The guys, there were 3 of them, knew what they were doing and did it efficiently. They were professional and courteous. It took some back and forth before we could agree on a day and time, they came a day later than originally agreed on. But all said, they provided excellent service. I was pleased to have hired them and I plan to use them again.

I called this company and set up an appointment 4 days later, they never showed up. I called and made another appointment, again they didn't show up. Found a better company at a decent price, I was trying to support local but was very disappointed.

They didn't come for a scheduled appointment and we didn't hear back from them.

Pretty well given the miscellany of jobs involved, and the Angie's list deal allowed a lot more flexibility than if I had asked for a quote on each item. We even got to a switch relocation that I had pretty far down on my list (though one other job proved impracticable due to the part not being at hand).

Not sure they were very experienced

It was done in one day, although one job became a follow up.

Ricky did a fine job of putting the boxes in the perfect spots. He ran two power wires from each switch to the fan box like I asked. He also cleaned up all the attic insulation that fell down. He did perfect work for a reasonable cost. Thanks, Ricky!

Overpriced the parts needed. Was supposed to be 2 guys for 4 hours each, yet when asked to do something else with an hour left said it wasn't in"scope of work" . Scope of work was 8 hours... Didn't matter if I didn't detail everything prior...Bought 8 hours. Unprofessional and when asked for receipts for parts used he sent me home depot links.

Work was completed, relatively quickly. Minor communication with the electrician who was not fluent in English. Resolved issues through owner of services who is fluent.

I was not given a specific time when they would come and did not get an answer in response to my voicemail. I was not home when they came and had to cut short what I was doing. I had sent a list of the projects, but they were unprepared to complete 2 of them. I ultimately only got 5 hours of work since they could not complete everything. I don't want to deal with them any further to try to get the work completed.
