Excellent job! Our new patio looks great. I would highly recommend Glen. Glen was great to work from the beginning to the end. Glen and his crew take pride in their work and it shows!

From start to finish everything went great. Based on the reviews , I Chose Glen to come out and supply an estimate. Glen responded to my estimate request within a couple of days and was out a few days later to look at the work needed. He emailed me the next day with the estimate. Pricing was in line with all other estimates(3) that I received. Again relying on reviews I chose Glen's company to do the work. What a great decision on my part!!! Contacted Glen to accept his proposal , within 1 week after securing the permit from the city the work began. His whole crew worked very hard and kept everything very neat in the process of tearing out all the old concrete. The backfill and reseeding of the areas was done very nice as well. The new porch and sidewalk look fantastic.

Glen Galis removed and replaced my badly cracked concrete driveway. In spite of having to work around bad weather, he and his crew arrived when they said they would, explained everything they were going to do, protected the ground cover along the driveway, and left the area in excellent condition. I am very pleased with the work done and would definitely hire them again.

It went great! Glen was very responsive to our concerns. He kept us informed every step of the way. He was out here and worked along side his crew and made sure that everything was completed according to our specifications. He and his crew were very courteous, punctual and easy to work with. He was also very patient. We had our siding replaced that summer and so Glen had to wait until they were done in order to start our job. He checked in with us and fit us in to his schedule. I can't say enough regarding Glen. If you want someone who is honest, reputable, and who really takes pride in his work then I would hire Glen Galis Concrete Construction.

Initially we were thrilled with the work. Since the work we have gotten chips in the driveway. I have called them about the issue and they have not responded. The technicians did a nice job and the owner over saw the project while they were working. Initially we had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the project.

I interviewed over 10 concrete contractors, and I picked Glen because he was honest. He told me what would work and what would not work. There was a long wait because he was very busy, but it was worth it to get the job done right. Glen and his crew were professional and very clean. I would definitely hire him, again.

Glen and his crew did a terrific job with both the garage and the sidewalk. The sidewalk, in particular, is wonderful. Before any work was done, Glen walked us through what we would recommend, and the approximate timeframe. He asked us a lot of good questions to make sure he was going to solve the problem that we wanted to solve. After the concrete sidewalk was poured, he even stayed around for a while to make sure no raccoons or squirrels walked on the wet concrete and made footprints - thats service!

Glen came out to the house quickly to give an estimate. Answered all our questions. He gave a very detailed estimate with what kind of concrete would be used, thickness, reinforcement used, etc. His team is very professional. Glen is involved with the actual work too. He made certain the base and concrete thicknesses were correct. The team cleaned up afterwards. The finished product looks fantastic. I will have Glen do other future concrete projects around the house.

We weren't able to go with Glen, as he didn't provide the service we needed for our basement floor, but he did provide the name of someone nearby that could assist. This review is to let people know that Glen is a true professional, and even though he didn't get the business, he went above and beyond to make sure I was headed in the right direction. Thank you!

my badly worn, broken concrete drive was completely replaced with high quality, beautifully finished concrete. my worn, steep front steps were replaced by a shallow, curved walkway down to the drive. truly a thing of beauty! my worn, cracked, poor quality concrete steps and pad under my deck was replaced. many worn concrete surfaces were restored to a like new finish. i now have a drive which adds value to my house and property; not to mention that it is really eye candy for everyone. i could,t be more satisfied

Perfect. Removed old driveway and changed the shape per my specifications. One day to prep and another day to pour the concrete just as promised. Glen and his crew filled in around the new driveway with dirt and grass seed as well as set my new mailbox for no additional charge. Prior to awarding Glen with the job I obtained estimates from 2 other contractors. Glen's was right in line with the other two but the superior service and finished product set him apart. I had 4 people stop by during and shortly after the job to comment on how well the driveway turned out. All 4 asked for his name and number.

Excellent job. I couldn't be more pleased and would recommend Glen to anyone. It was a joy to work with Glen and his crew. His price is competitive and the work outstanding. They arrived promptly every morning and set right to work, each to his assigned task. You could tell that every member of the crew was experienced, took pride in his work and enjoyed working together. Glen kept me informed throughout. Removing concrete is a dirty, dusty job, but you'd never know that because the daily cleanup was so good. My neighbors were amazed. Glen is very meticulous in his work and my property presented its share of challenges. It is not level. The ground undulates - higher at the street, lowering and the rising toward the garage. It also slopes towards the house and is lower than my neighbor's. Thanks to Glen's meticulous prep work, measuring and re-measuring, checking and rechecking levels and installing a slope drain, the final product is beautiful - it's pitch perfect. One neighbor told me the finished job looked so good he now has "driveway envy." Final clean up was fantastic. Not only did they bring in top soil and grass seed to fill in along the driveway, they unexpectedly cleared out the decorative rock that had been next to the house and filled the new planting area with top soil. Glen bumped up the curb appeal of my home - it looks so good and it's such fun to open the front door, walk down the new front steps and stroll up and down the new driveway.

Glen replaced our crumbling and cracking asphalt driveway with cement. We also had him replace our front walk to our front door, which was settling at a slant due to age and the front yard settling. Glen also expanded our driveway to the maximum width allowed by our city to give us more room with all the kids cars, he removed our broken basketball goal, removed a dead tree stump near the driveway, buried our down spout drainage pipe and put it underneath our new front walk, he stamped our front walk and put a stamped border along the driveway to match the front walk. Glen came on the first request and gave us a detailed estimate, which could let us pick whether or not we wanted to do everything on it. He was always responsive with any questions we had. Unfortunately with this summers rainy beginning, our project was completed later in the summer that we anticipated, but that was due to weather and not Glen's company. Glen and his crew were very professional, polite and courteous to our neighbors during the project. They left our yard and home in excellent condition, with no clean up for us to do! I can't say enough good things about him and his company and I would have him back again. Glen's price was higher than other estimates we received, but I am very happy we went with our gut feeling and chose his company. Glen performed an excellent job!

Family owned business. Dealt with Glen all the way through the process - estimate to final day. The process from estimate to project completion took a little over 3 months. Glen Galis Concrete Contractor's got all the permits needed, were conscientious, and professional. The quality of the work was excellent. Glen worked with me to get a little extra pitch to the garage and drive in order for water to run away from the house better. They removed my "sidewalk to nowhere" and put black dirt down so all I need to do is seed it. Overall, this was one of the best experiences that I have had with a contractor - ever.

I obtained a few bids, did not select the lowest nor the highest. The estimate provided by Glen was detailed yet simple enough to understand by someone not familiar with concrete. The work would be performed by him and his crew (not subcontracted) so I chose them. I couldn't be happier with the patio project! On day one, the crew arrived at the promised time and immediately began dismantling the old patio. I have a fenced yard so everything was done by hand. I had a general idea of what I wanted the new patio to look like, and Glen provided suggestions that were extremely helpful. I definitely appreciated his views and consults. The new patio layout was finished day two and the concrete poured and stamped on day three. Staining was completed on day four, then they returned to seal it and spread new quality soil around the entire area on the last day. The crew was very respectful of my property and Glen kept me posted of the next steps as they progressed. They coordinated with another contractor (Martinez Masonry) who installed a firepit and seating wall, which was a separate job. They went above and beyond by replacing a board below my patio door, too. The wet weather earlier in the summer did delay the start of the project, but that gave me time to figure out what I wanted and to move some existing perennials. I also had time to remove a small tree that I was going to keep, but determined as time went by that the harsh winter had taken it's toll. I am so glad I did as it would have proven difficult to work around. Every expectation I had was met and the result is beautiful. This is a hard-working crew who pay attention to detail and clean up at the end of each day. If anyone needs a concrete contractor, Glen Galis is your man!

Glen Galis did a great job start to finish. Glen responded promptly to all my questions and phone calls. He provided plenty of references close to my house. He showed up when he promised, and he and his crew were professional and courteous.

We needed a quote or two for some potential concrete work to repair and possibly extend our front steps and patio area. After contacting the provider a quick response was received by phone and an immediate apology offered for the fact that it would be a few days before the provider would be able to visit my location to look at the work we needed. A suitable date for the visit was arranged and the provider arrived on schedule. As the potential job is only small, it did not take long for the provider to measure and collect all the details. The provider was friendly and professional at all times, and was certainly proud of talking about his company, their heritage and the work they have done in this area over the years. Within a week a quote was emailed to me, with all the necessary breakdown and alternative options as requested. We were very pleased with the service we received, however could not proceed with the work and perhaps felt the price was on the high side - however are confident that the work would have been of high quality.

I had to call him multiple times before he returned my call. Once he did call, he was very nice on the phone. We scheduled a time for him to come out and to take a look and provide us with a quote. He had to cancel our meeting and said he would call us back to reschedule within the next day or two and have yet to hear from him. I am really dissapointed; as I was excited to use him.

The driveway is fine and holding up very well.

They met our expectations and more. We are very pleased and will use them again in the future.

The work was planned with good suggestions and in a way that I understood the detail of what to expect. The permitting was done very well with the city. All debris was removed without problems and the concrete work went very well with excellent results at a reasonable price. Suggested additions like cutting the curb for a more smooth transition and better spacing of the steps up from the sidewalk onto the porch made it a better project. The cleanup went well, as did the re-seeding of grass, and all the work was done in a timely way.

From start to finish Glen and his crew were very courteous, professional, and caring. They made sure we had a safe way to get in and out of our house while the driveway was being ripped out and replaced. They even helped me carry in my groceries from my neighbors driveway. I would highly recommend Glen and his crew to everyone.

Couldn't be more pleased. Price was a bit more than other quotes but well worth the extra money. Glen and his crew showed up promptly at the specified time each morning and cleaned up when finished each day. They were very thorough, detail oriented and did an overall excellent job. They replaced my old asphalt driveway (1700sq ft), apron, front walk, public walk, 2 garage lips, and side service stairs. The entire project was completed in 4 days. Glen made several suggestions & recommendations to improve the overall project and all worked well. I highly recommend this contractor.
