Glen was very courteous, attentive to my concerns and his crew did a fine job of removing the debris. Glen also went the extra mile and gave me competitive quotes for waterproofing and offered suggestions along the way. I appreciated his honesty and integrity with his prices and craftsmanship. My only constructive feedback is that he was slow to return calls and meet me when he said he would.

Glen was prompt in giving an estimate for this work and then handled getting the needed city permits upon getting the go ahead. Although the weather and other jobs pushed the installation several weeks, the work was done well and was completed on the scheduled day.

He did a great job. We had some plumbing work done outside. There was some repair work. I had a small side walk that needed to be fixed. He finished a project in the area. He came over and did it. Then he came back and finished it. It was wonderful. The price was more than fair though I don?t remember how much it was. He was great. As a matter of fact, he had a break in like a week before in the area. They stole some of the equipment but he still came through and did well. He did not mention it. I saw it in the Tribune and mentioned it to him. He said that there were 2 or 3 businesses in that area. They stole the truck and some equipment.

The job went very smoothly. Be prepared to work with this company in terms of scheduling as they do not have multiple crews and salespeople scheduling the jobs way out in advance. They spend the extra time to get your job done right which may cause a delay in the next job. Also weather played a very large part in the timing of the job. Glen and his fathers suggestions on the drainage and grading of our yard were spot on and helped out immensely.

They did a good job. I was pleased with their earlier work when I checked and I am pleased with what they did for me.

The results are excellent. Our garage is below the street so water has always drained toward and into the garage. The trench drain has eliminated that problem completely. Quoting and scheduling process took some time as we were coordinating this with replacement of the asphalt drive, and Glen was hard to get hold of at times, but he did respond when necessary. Went through a couple of revisions before finalizing the contract. Then the response was quick, the work done properly and on schedule and when there was a loose end after the asphalt folks did their work, Glen came back immediately and cleaned it up even though it could have been argued it was as much their issue as his. Pricing was competitive and Glen is a nice guy to do business with.

They were fantastic in their design. Everything was done extremely well. They cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend them. They called me right back within a day after I left the message.

Glen and his crew worked quickly and efficiently. They were done with the patio in one day - excavated, formed, gravel base, poured and stamped. The next day the expansions joints were cut and patio sealed. They left the place spotless and filled in around the edges of the patio. Glen is very accomodating and diligent. Some little extras that I did not expect for example: saving top soil from the excavation and moving to my driveway; setting a PVC pipe under the patio to run wire for my garden lights; carefully excavation around the multiple underground sprinkler lines in place, etc. The patio looks great and we have had many compliments. I highly recommend this contractor!

Exceptional - top notch job. Would not hesitate to use Glen again nor would I have any reluctance in recommending him. Glen was thorough, actually remained on site to assist in the project and cleaned up thoroughly after the project. I felt that Glen treated this project as if he were working on his own home. The work passed inspection and looks fantastic.

Glen is the best contractor we have ever dealt with. He listened to what we wanted, explained our options and improved on our plan. He was up front about every aspect, including pricing. He returned phone calls promptly. He and his crew were incredibly efficient and meticulous. It is obvious that they enjoy what they do and take great pride in their work. Glen has even stopped by a few times since the job was completed to be sure we were satisfied. We would recommend him without hesitation to anyone.

Glen's work is meticulous. Glen added a fancy bullnose to the front steps using scrap lumber I was going to throw away. Everyone who comes to our house marvels at the beautiful steps. Even the building inspector was impressed and wanted to know who did the work. My parents were so impressed they had Glen replace their asphalt driveway with a brushed/stamped drive and sidewalk. That says a lot! I was talking with the concrete truck drivers when they were pouring the concrete and they all said Glen and his boys are the best in the business. I personally observed the crew functioned like a well-oiled machine. Glen's crew is remarkable. I can tell when people like their jobs. The crew members looked like they enjoy working with each other. When was the last time you saw that?! When they were finished working, the job site was cleaned of all traces they had been there - except of course for the beautiful work! The whole job, from start to finish, was almost like Glen was working on his own driveway. I am amazed that Glen can take a sloppy blob of gray concrete and sculpt it into a work of art. I consider him more of an artisan than a concrete guy. Glen told me that with proper care, his work would probably last my lifetime. Our home isn't a million-dollar mansion - it is an average home in an average working-class neighborhood. Glen and his crew treated us as though they were working on one of the million dollar mansions. I was impressed! I can recommend Glen and his crew without reservation!

The work was performed in September 2008 and we are very pleased with the results to date. Work was done on time and within budget. My neighbor, who used to work in construction, made it a point to tell me how efficient and professional the crew was in performing the work.

They are extremely professional. They are easy to work with. They have great quality work and everything turned out great. We were very happy with the work. He was also good at working with us and knowing what we wanted done.

Glen's bid was not the lowest but I wanted a quality job. He handled all the necessary city permits (while many other contractors expected the homeowner to handle this). He carefully went over the bid with me and offered his ideas concerning the stoop and sidewalk which we liked. His crew was very nice and the end result looks great.
