Description of Work: This was such a great experience! You could tell the crew had worked together for a long time and really enjoyed doing what they were doing! Everyone was very nice and professional. The work looks fantastic and they worked hard at cleaning up our property and making it look even better than when they started! |Concrete work as described: |Front Stoop: |Existing front stoop was removed and replaced as that of existing approximately 5' x 5' |Front Walk: |Existing front walk was removed and replaced maintaining a similar layout as existing approximately 3' x 16 1/2' |Drive and Approach: |Existing drive and approach was removed and replaced with concrete maintaining the same dimensions as existing. Drive approximately 17' x 29' |Approach approximately 17' x 10 1/2' |Curb: |Existing curb was sawcutt down to eliminate harsh entry. |Rear Patio: |Approximately 14' x 14' concrete patio was poured with a curved configuration which was verified with owner in field. |Patio Stoop and Step: |Approximately 2' x 6' landing and a minimum 12" x 6' step was poured off rear patio as discussed. |All removed materials, spoils and inferior subbase was hauled off site. |All permit and fees are included. |All work areas were fully protected and restored upon completion of project. |All materials were hauled via wheelbarrow with heavy equipment to stay on street. |All concrete was of a 4500 psi mix design with a water reducing agent and air entrainment 4" thick for the patio and walk, 5" thick for the drive, all reinforced with 10 gauge wire and fiber mesh throughout, 6" thick for the approach non reinforced per city code, all on a minimum 5" compacted gravel base. # 4 rebar dowels, control and expansion joints were placed as required. A light broom finish and sealer curing was applied.

Description of Work: Removed our old, cracked, concrete driveway and replaced it with a new one. Mr. Galis did a great job at a fair price. He was responsive to my design ideas and came up with a great solution for the replacement of a small concrete side porch abutting the driveway, including removing, getting repaired and replacing some wrought iron railings and overhang supports. |I have waited to submit a review until after what proved to be rather harsh winter to see how the driveway held up. I can't find a crack in it. He also replaced a couple of sections of sidewalk, one which had not been properly pitched and collected water to form a puddle in front of my front porch and fixed this problem. I would not hesitate to use Glen Galis Concrete for any future concrte work. | | | |

Description of Work: They removed my old stoop and front walkway, replaced with a new widened walk with a California Border. They also replaced a drain tile.

Description of Work: We were extremely satisfied with the work performed. We had colored stamped concrete with a contrasting border installed. Glen listened to what we envisioned then sent us to his supplier to confirm color and pattern. He did not rush us into a decision and worked with us to be certain our expectations were met. Glen exceeded our expectations. He and his crew were very professional and truly proud of the work they did.

Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment and the day of the appointment he called and cancelled. He told me his wife would be upset if he did not come home and he would call the following week and never called back.

Description of Work: Glen is a great guy. He quoted our small job and scheduled it with another in the area. When my wife discovered that a rogue youngster had added his name to our fresh poured project, Glen was quick to save the day and smooth out the section. Bravo Glen. Thank you.

Description of Work: Glen and his team took out our old asphalt driveway and concrete walkway and our old stoop. The work was done as described and in the time frame described. They were on time, and cleaned up every day. At the end of the job it looked so beautiful. We love our driveway, new front walkway and stoop. Everyone on the job was courteous and we would recommend Glen Galis to anyone who wants a quality concrete driveway.

Description of Work: They came out and gave me an estimate. I felt very confident of their ability and they explained, in detail, what would be done. It was just much more money than other companies...so I don't know that I'll have the work done. Concrete work is tricky. You want someone you can trust, but I may just stay with an aspheldt driveway to save money. Their quote to replace and expand the sidewalk and two car driveway was around $7,000.

Description of Work: Glen came by to give me an estimate on pouring a new stoop. He was very professional and made a number of suggestions. He said he had to figure up the estimate and woud call. He never called back.
