Great service, I highly recommend. Approx 3 weeks from date of order till installation. Installation went perfect. It took the installer approx 2 hrs to complete. They even called back about 6 weeks later to make sure I was happy.

Consolidated Garage Door installed my garage door in 2004; this is the first repair that has had to be made. It should also be noted that we use our garage door as if it's our front door; it gets a LOT of use. I called at 7:00 AM Monday morning to report a broken spring and Consolidated was able to have a repairman in my home by 1:45 PM the same day. They did say they could have someone to my home earlier, but the early afternoon time worked better with my schedule. Mike was timely, polite, professional, worked quickly, and tested the door several times. Also, without prompting, he also lubed up some parts within the motor to try and get rid of a "whirring" sound he had noticed during the testing process. He couldn't improve the sound as much as he had hoped, but I certainly appreciated his professional efforts. There was a fuel surcharge of $4, which did not bother me because that's becoming pretty common these days with the cost of fuel. I was pleased that it was only $4! I also received a $10 Angie's List discount. I had expected a $200 bill, and it came out to be $17 less than expected. Thank you, Angie's List AND Consolidated Garage Door!

One of the cables on the garage door snapped, leaving the door in diagonal half closed/half slightly open state. I was unable to open or close the door. I called Consolidated Garage Doors at 8:30 am, and it was repaired by 12:30 same day. I scheduled the appointment, was given a time window, and was phoned when the technician was on his way. The technician, Don, was punctual, very polite, and very professional. He fixed the problem, then explained everything he did. He concluded with walking me through the safety inspection to ensure the opener and the door were working correctly. I recommend this company and would use them again in the future.

They were prompt and courteous. The replacement door we wanted took 2-3 weeks for delivery, but other than that, we had no issues and were satisfied with their work. Would definitely call them again.

as an overview, i was very pleased with my transaction with consolidated garage doors (hereinafter "consolidated"). i would characterize the transaction as having been conducted very professionally and i found the staff to be very knowledgeable. i got quotes from several garage door services and my general impression was that i asked for a lot more detail than most people do. for example, i asked for drawings that detailed the construction of the door and installation, including the track system and jambs. i also asked a lot of fairly specific questions. my personal assessment of the whole process is that consolidated did the best job of answering questions and responding to my requests for information. in answering my questions, i also got the sense that the people to whom i was speaking were quite knowledgeable, which gave me more confidence to trust their judgement on installation issues on which i was less knowledgeable. i got good information that helped me select a garage door operator and helped me decide on whether to choose a 12" track radius or 15" track radius. for me, the overall decision making process was about 3 or 4 months. i will also add that the first quote that i received from consolidated was the last quote - there were no subsequent changes in the price - i asked for a budgetary quote and when i later asked for an actual quote, consolidated maintained the original quoted price. however, when there was a price reduction in the garage door operator, consolidated passed on the price reduction. the order process was very detailed, and as suggested surpa, was very professionally conducted. i enjoyed the transaction and left consolidated feeling that i had made the right decision in placing my order with them. i would say that the installer did a really solid job of installation on the garage door system, and to my observation, he took a lot of pride in his work. i am very pleased with the garage door system.

Garage door was having trouble raising/lowering, shaking, making too much noise... they came out same day , Adjusted garage door, lubricated, tightened everyhting, replaced door seal. Great Service. I asked them if they knew someone who could do good garage stain work for my wooden door...he said he would call later when he got back to the office and could look up some contacts. He did call me back with his recommendations. Very nice.

I was referred to them by my next-door neighbor who had used them. I like the garage door. It's beautiful. I wasn't home when they installed it. They didn't leave a mess or anything. They came out and measured everything. They showed me pictures of what I wanted. I came home from work to a new garage door. They came out when they said they would and installed the door on the day they said they would. That was great.

We use them all the time. Overall the job they did was great. They were very efficient in finding some things that needed to be adjusted on the door. They adjusted some things that I could do in the future too for its maintenance. They’re very knowledgeable and very reliable. Their pricing was reasonable. They were excellent. We will use their services again in the future.

Had to play phone tag with the dispatcher. He could have been more courteous, but he was never rude. The garage door opener was damaged by lightning. Ernesto was competent and professional. He tracked down what was wrong and instead of replacing the whole garage door opener, he replaced only the logic board to save me money. My garage door opener is 5 years old. As they get older, it's less likely that they would have the parts available.

I called on a Monday morning for a quote. On Monday afternoon I called to agree to the quote and schedule the work to be performed. The 2nd girl I spoke with would not take my information, she wanted the 1st girl I spoke with to get it. She said somebody would call me back Tuesday and the guy would come out Wednesday for measurements. Nobody called me Tuesday or Wednesday, despite my repeated calls. Finally on Wednesday I got a hold of Phil. He said he could not come on Wednesday, was off the Friday he normally comes to town, so it would be the NEXT Friday before he could even come to measure (10 days wait). Despite this being an in stock door, they would not sell it to me until one of their people double checked my measurements. Overall, I felt like the experience was not professional and a few of the people I spoke with were rude and condescending. A customer should not have to call back numerous times over 3 days just to try and do business with a company. Then, they should not be forced to wait an additional 10 days. They DID have the best price, but I went with another company, regardless. I'm willing to pay more to reward a company that treats their customers with respect and fairness.

My garage door was having trouble going down, and one of the roller wheels had broken off. I could close the door manually. I called to schedule service, expecting it might take a few days, but they said they could do it the next morning. They also offered that they would come by that day, if they could squeeze me in. About 20 minutes later, they called and said they could squeeze me in same day if they could come right now....I said sure! The serviceperson was very professional, and very good. He adjusted everything, replaced missing bolts and tightened ones that had come loos, ...basically, my garage door is now so quiet, and smooth...a job very well done.

I had heard a loud clang in the middle of the night and so began my search, long story short after much investigation one of the torsion springs on the garage door had broken. The door would no longer open more than six inches. The door had been installed by this company (by our home's previous owners) in 2002. I called them hoping it would be warrantied, but they only offer 2 yr parts and 90 days labor - so obviously not. They could come out that day (within an hour of calling) so I gave it a shot. The young repairman was pleasant and seemed to know what he was doing. He replaced the springs as well as lubricating the door and opener. Total cost for the spring replacement was $279. I typically call around for quotes on things like this, but didn't have the time on this occasion. A quick search on the internet after the fact revealed that I may have overpaid slightly, but for the prompt service and professionalism I'll let it go.

Service tech showed up promptly and proceeded to gauge the door setting and operation. Noticed some slight points and adjusted each side of the track. The rollers were individually adjusted, hinges checked, auto-reverse was checked, gasket was adjusted, door tension spring was checked and adjusted, upper hinge setting was checked and adjusted, door frame fit was checked and adjusted, door was checked for level and square then door travel was checked and adjusted. All hinges, rollers and gears were cleaned and lubed. T-bar was checked for level and true and adjusted. Motor gear noise was checked and worn gears replaced then lubed, motor hang position was checked and adjusted then motor settings checked and adjusted. All motor drive covers and parts cleaned and replaced. Door actually operates per the original sales term "Whisper quiet!" and the operation is very smooth now where there had been some slight jerking. I am extremely pleased with the overall attention to detail, professionalism and the quality of work performed. An added bonus was no clean-up!

My initial contact upon making the service call appointment was with an employee who identified himself as Dave . I found his phone demeanor to be unbelievably short and unfriendly. Not a good sign. I was tempted to find another company with more customer friendly reps. When the service person did not show up on the appointed date/time, I placed a call to Consolidate to find out why no one showed up to do the job. Dave told me that it is up to the customer to call & confirm an appointment(s); that Consolidated NEVER calls the customer(s) relative to date confirmations. He implied that I was at fault for misunderstanding the company s policy relative to appointments. So be it! Had I not called on the appointed day, I would have waited all day with no one showing up! Some policy! Some Customer Service Rep! I would rate the provision of service (replacing the broken spring) as EXCELLENT and the customer service (customer service rep) as POOR .

I signed up at the Home Show on Saturday to be contacted by phone for installation of the garage door opener. The following Monday, Venus Corp called me. We went over the components that came with the opener as well as additional items that I wanted. On Thursday morning, Pete, a highly trained & personable serviceman, installed the opener. I am very happy with our new opener & with all the help & information that Consolidated Garage Doors provided.

VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEIR REPAIR MAN ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED. HE WAS COMPETENT, PLEASANT, AND FAST. HE DID THE WORK AND WAS GONE.

VERY PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL-GAVE QUOTE UP FRONT AND OFFERED SOME MONEY SAVING ALTERNATIVES. NO PRESSURE SALE. PERFORMED WORK DESIRED IN 1 HOUR AND GUIDED ME THROUGH A MAINTENANCE PROCESS TO BE DONE BY ME ONCE A YEAR.

I HAD WORKED WITH THEM BEFORE AND FOUND THEIR SERVICE TO BE SATISFACTORY. THEIR PRICES ARE PROBABLY IN LINE WITH OTHERS AND THEIR PROFESSIONALISM IS APPARENT.

SERVICEMAN TOOK HIS TIME, EVEN THOUGH I WAS HIS LAST CUSTOMER ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON. SEEMED TO CARE AND WANTED TO DO THE JOB RIGHT. PUT A TAMPER PROOF LAG ON THE SPRING AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
