 + 1 moreI have to start by saying that out of the 4 landscapers we contacted, Dave was the only one to show up on time. Our property line is directly over an electrical line (which is why we couldn't put up a fence) and Dave gave some great ideas to work with it from the size of bushes to building up the bed, so we wouldn't have to dig too deep. He gave us a quote that day and followed up the next with some other requested information. He also suggested the variegated dogwood instead of the Cheyenne privet we had originally requested, and he could not find in the right size, but proved to be an excellent choice. The river birch is a great size and in top condition as are all the bushes. He arrived with a huge batch of compost which eliminated the need for garden soil in the perennial garden. Every bush and the tree was planted with compost. His crew were a great bunch of guys and very professional. There wasn't a speck of dirt left in the driveway. My neighbors are all using him now.
Description of Work: Dave and company put in 25 variegated dogwoods along a fence line, planted a river birch and forsythia as well as cut out a perennial garden and a large area under a blue spruce. All of the areas where they removed grass they put down landscaping barrier and mulched. They also mulched all of our existing flower beds. They had to go and get extra mulch since they put it on so thick in areas and didn't charge for all of it.
