Mike, the owner, has been our go-to HVAC guy for our office buildings for many years, now. He has performed just about every service call / system maintenance / hardware replacement on both of our commercial buildings or a couple of our employee's homes. We never have a problem getting in touch with him, he has always been fair, honest, and even when we've priced him against his competitors, he's always given us the best price. He has work for us including everything from scheduled filter replacement on our commercial HVAC units, multi-zone HVAC design/install in an office build-out, and a couple of residential and commercial AC and furnace installs/replacements/repairs. When we had one of a pair of 18 year old rooftop HVAC units (that's about 104 old in human years) stop working last year, Mike checked out our other unit and ended up giving us an amazing discount to replace a second unit that was on its last legs too (we'd been spending lots of money with him to keep it running) because it meant he'd only have to bring one crane in to do both jobs. I wish I could find good service professionals like Mike/the JDN staff for all of our business' needs.

They didn't have the best rebates, and that is why we didn't use them. They were polite, they were on time, and everything was fine. Their price was somewhere in the middle, out of the 8 estimates that I got. They were fine.

The technician responded quickly to my call. He was able to diagnosis the problem quickly. He cleaned the flame sensor and offered to come out again free of charge if that didn't fix my heat. He also gave me tips on what filters to use and how to keep the filters in place. The diagnosis was correct and I'm happy to have a warm home again!

Last year I started having freeze up problems with my 3 year old home air conditioning. I hired Chet from Advanced Mechanical of Bartlett, IL to correct the problem. Advanced Mechanical came out to my home on several occasions. They kept checking and changing the coolant level, which never fixed the problem. At one point, Chet the owner of Advanced Mechanical was very rude to me and said "What do you do, just stare at your thermostat all day? Chet also made another rude remark to me by suggesting that maybe the problem was due to me and my wife drinking too much alcohol. This year, the same freeze up problem started to happen again. I contacted JDN Systems of Bartlett, IL, and after some troubleshooting, they found the problem, which was a clogged coil in my furnace. JDN said that the coil looked as though it had been installed 20 years ago. Once the coil was cleaned, JDN re-checked the coolant level and now everything is working just as it should. The reason the coil became so filthy in such a short time is because the filter was improperly installed and it was allowing dirt to bypass the filter and go directly to coil. Ironically, it was Chet from Advanced Mechanical that had done the poor filter installation in 2008 when I purchased a new furnace and central air conditioning unit. I would highly recommend JDN Systems for all heating and cooling needs. They are professional, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and above all, courteous.

JDN did an excellent job installing a top of the line and High Efficiency furnace and A/C. Mike, the owner, had the best price on removing and replacing my system. I had 4 quotes with other companies and they could not come close to what I paid unless I wanted a cheaper brand which was not Hi-Efficiency. I received a top of the line Trane System. I recommended JDN to a friend and she was also given the best price. Highly Recommend!

A/C went out during a hot spell on 7/5/10. Opted to delay repair til next day to avoid "holiday charge". Serviceman came out next morning. On time. Quickly diagnosed problem and replaced part. Very professional . Was glad to have A/C again. Excellent service ! Would use again.
